Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze whether there is a positive and significant influence between fintech variables on profit growth variables in MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The method that the researchers used in this study was a quantitative method with a quantitative approach that used primary data sources obtained through the distribution of questionnaires with Likert scales. The number of respondents is 100 MSME players in Pangkalpinang City. The sampling method is Nonprobability Sampling with purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques using the help of SPSS software version 25. The results revealed that fintech variables have a positive and significant effect on profit growth in MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City as evidenced by the partial fintech significance value of (t test) of 0.000 0.05 and the calculated t value of 9.835 t table 1.661.

Abstract

Even in times of financial crisis, MSMEs remain an important economic tool that influence Indonesia's economic growth. MSMEs have the power to raise people's standard of living, particularly in terms of money. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the financial performance of MSMEs in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is impacted by credit giving, financial inclusion, fintech, and intellectual capital characteristics. This study uses an associative methodology and is quantitative in nature. Purposive sampling procedures were used to obtain 102 MSME actors for the sample. SPSS software version 26 is used to assist with the data analysis technique. The study's findings demonstrate that financial inclusion (X2), fintech (X5), intellectual capital (X6), and partial credit giving (X1) all significantly and favorably impact MSMEs' financial performance. The Bangka Belitung Islands' MSMEs' financial performance is positively and significantly impacted by the concurrent factors of credit granting, financial inclusion, fintech, and intellectual capital. The independent variable accounts for 88.5% of the variation in the dependent variable, with the remaining 11.5% being impacted by factors not examined in this study, according to the R Square value of 0.885 in this investigation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the effect digital creative economy sector to economic growth in Bangka Belitung. In the context of an ever-changing global economy, the digital and creative economy sector has emerged as one of the significant growth engines. This research uses a secondary data analysis method involving economic, digital, economic growth, employment, and creative economy sector data. The study identifies digital creative economy in sub sectors that have greater growth potential than others. This sector-specific analysis provides deeper insights into how different segments of the creative economy can more effectively contribute to the economic development in Bangka Belitung. The creative economy has become a recognized driver of economic development in recent years.The implication of these findings is the need to develop more robust and targeted policy strategies to support the growth digitalization of the creative economy sector. The effect digital creative economy growth are access to information and markets, access to financial services, Marketing and Market Expansion, Skills and Productivity Improvement. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara kinerja antara reksadana saham konvensional dengan reksadana saham syariah berdasarkan metode Sharpe, Treynor, dan Jensen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder berupa NAB, IHSG/ISSI, dan SBI/SBIS tahun 2018-2022. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah independent sample t-test untuk uji parametrik dan mann-whitney -u untuk uji non-parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kinerja reksadana saham konvensional dengan reksadana saham syariah berdasarkan metode Sharpe, sedangkan kinerja reksadana saham syariah dan reksadana saham konvensional terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan berdasarkan metode Treynor dan Jensen.

Abstract

Bangka Belitung adalah daerah yang sedang mencoba beralih dari sektor utama perkebunan dan pertambangan ke sektor pariwisata. Pemerintah daerah dan berbagai komunitas setempat sedang aktif mendorong peningkatan ekonomi alternatif ini menjadi sebuah sumber pendapatan baru. Pertanyaan kritis terkait bagaimana sejatinya dimensi ekonomi dari perspektif para pelaku bisnis pariwisata dan intervensi pemerintah menjadi sangat menarik untuk dikaji. Studi ini fokus pada alasan para pelaku wisata terlibat, khususnya pedagang dan pengelola kawasan wisata, serta mencermati bagaimana dimensi ekonomi politik dalam pengambilan keputusan politik untuk pengembangan ekowisata diperankan oleh pemerintah daerah. Melalui studi kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini menemukan bahwa para pedagang dan pengelola ekowisata memandang adanya prospek yang cerah dalam industri pariwisata. Secara umum pemerintah daerah belum optimal memainkan peran dalam fungsi motivator, fasilitator, dan dinamisator. Dari tiga aspek tersebut, pemerintah daerah kurang optimal dalam memberikan dukungan sarana dan prasarana serta perijinan kawasan, baru optimal dalam memberikan dukungan pengembangan kapasitas. Pengembangan ekowisata masih dipandang sebagai aktivitas ekonomi yang basisnya secara umum adalah inisiatif komunitas, dan belum ditempatkan sebagai aktivitas dimana pengambilan keputusan politik dianggap menentukan arah pengembangan ekowisata ke masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the financial performance of conventional commercial banks before and after the implementation of branchless banks, namely by measuring the ratios of Return on Assets (ROA), Operational Costs and Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). This research is a comparative study with a total sample of 7 conventional commercial banks, the sampling of which uses a purposive sampling technique so that the object of research is conventional commercial banks that have not implemented Branchless Banking for five years (2010-2014) and five years after the implementation of Branchless Banking (2015- 2019). Testing the instrument using descriptive analysis and normality test, while for the analytical method using the Paired sample t-test for normally distributed data and the Wilcoxon signed rank test for abnormally distributed data through the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that based on the results of the Paired test sample t-test on the ROA, BOPO and CAR variables obtained a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, then the RAO, BOPO and CAR variables have significant differences after the implementation of Branchless Banking. Furthermore, based on the Wilcoxon signed rank test on the LDR variable, a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 was obtained, so the LDR variable had a significant difference after the implementation of Branchless Banking. Abstract

Bangka Belitung is being transformed into a tourism destination area, relying on nature tourism. But unfortunately, the development of nature tourism does not include the development of ecotourism, even though these two things are interrelated. Nature tourism which is a mainstay of the tourism sector provides a very wide opportunity to strengthen ecotourism as part of the environmental movement in Bangka Belitung. This research aims to find out how the fulfillment of the ecotourism principles of tourism natural areas in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, and identifying unique things related to the application of these principles. Through quantitative research methods with a survey approach that is strengthened by field observations, this research found that assessed from 5 interval categories of the ecotourism principles fulfillment, 58% of the tourism areas in Bangka Belitung were included in the category of fulfilled of the ecotourism principles and 42% were in the strongly fulfilled category of the ecotourism principles. The research also found that although the application of each principle was met, there were unique and interesting notes on each principle.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of intellectual capital with the dimensions of Human Assets (HC), Structural Capital (SC), and Relationships (RC) on banking performance in the perceptions of customers on Syariah Bank in Pangkalpinang. The choice of method in this research is quantitative with the target of five Sharia banks in Pangkalpinang, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, BRI Syariah, Bank SumselBabel Syariah, and Bank Muamalat. There were 20 questionnaires distributed in each Sharia bank. The measuring instrument used to calculate the variables is Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). The path coefficient value data processing or path coefficient bootstrapping analysis with the direction of the relationship obtained the human asset variable (HC) results, showing a positive number of 0.361. The structural capital variable (SC) shows a positive number of 0.436, the human asset variable (HC), and the capital variable structural (SC) has a positive effect on banking performance. For the relation variable (RC), the original value showed a positive number of 0.076. The t-statistic value was smaller than the t-value, 0.704 <1.96 so that the relationship variable had no positive effect on banking performance.

Abstract

Traditional markets in the Bangka Belitung Province play a significant role in supporting the local economy, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the emergence of modern markets, which offer convenience, efficiency, and a wider variety of products, presents a major challenge to the sustainability of traditional markets. This study aims to assess the sustainability of traditional markets in Bangka Belitung in the face of competition from modern markets. The methods used include field observations, interviews with traders and market managers, and consumer surveys. The results indicate that the revitalization of traditional markets through infrastructure improvements and digitalization training has enhanced competitiveness. There has been a 15% increase in visitor numbers, and traders who participated in digital training saw an average income increase of 10%. Additionally, 65% of traders have adopted digital payment systems. However, some traders still face difficulties in adopting new technology. Consumer satisfaction has increased from 60% to 78% after revitalization efforts. Collaboration between the government, academics, and the community is a crucial factor in supporting the sustainability of traditional markets amid competition from modern markets.

Abstract

Purpose: (IDX) period 2018-2023 by focusing on Financial Distress conditions on Trade Credit Provisions. Financial distress is identified through delisting conditions due to negative net income and book value and inappropriate management decisions. Methodology: Through a quantitative approach with 46 samples of companies selected based on stratified random sampling and purposive sampling methods.Results: The results of the analysis show that there is a significant negative relationship between financial difficulties and accounts payable and there is a significant negative relationship between financial difficulties and accounts receivable in the shares of manufacturing sector companies on the IDX.Conclusions: Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out on that Financial Distress with each dependent variable Trade Payable and Trade Receivable, namely There is a significant negative relationship between financial difficulties and trade payables in the shares of manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and there is a significant negative relationship between financial difficulties and trade receivables in the shares of manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.Limitations: The limitations of this research are only on financial distress and manufacturing sector companies 2018-2023Contribution: It is therefore worth considering a deeper exploration of how internal mechanisms, such as working capital management and financing strategies, play a role in determining trade credit policies.
