Indonesian Railroad Academy Madiun is one of the education UPTs under the Ministry of Transportation which houses the railway sector. To support education in the Madiun API and in accordance with the 2017 Revised Madiun API Master Plan, it is necessary to have additional lines, namely the Madiun API outer ring. Autocad Civil 3D software is very useful in providing an innovative, effective and efficient solution in the process of planning civil engineering specifically for the manufacture of railroad lines so that it is easier, faster and lower cost with the methodology of working on inputting land survey data and carrying out the next alignment design automatically cutting pieces of data transverse, longitudinal, gallian volume and auto fill have been obtained. The planning data that is the speed of the plan used is 30 km / h with a track width of 1,067m. design length of 1234,187m with a slope of 0,0009 or 0.09% below the maximum standard of 10 per ‰, cumulative fill 15584.68 m³ and comulative cut 5719.08 m³.

This study was structured with the aim of carrying out topographic measurements and analyzing grading planning in the API Madiun campus area. The study was conducted using a Total Station measurement tool and a 3D Autocad Civil 3D imaging tool. Surveyor personnel used in carrying out measurements are surveyors who are trained using Total Station equipment. The study produced ten benchmark point (BM) locations as a measurement reference in areas within the Madiun API land. The topographic analysis results from the contour map identified the Madiun API land area as relatively flat with the difference between the lowest and highest elevation of 5.132 m with an average slope of 3.32%. The grading plan shows that there are two main areas that require landfills with the total pile volume requirement of 8,281.4 m3. Evaluation of the implementation of measurements shows the need for supervision and evaluation so as not to make mistakes that can occur by the measurement implementer. The use of Autocad Civil 3D software tools facilitates and accelerates the process of depicting engineering and land grading planning. Measurement with Total Station and depiction with Autocad Civil 3D needs to be optimized by integration into the lecture syllabus in order to become one of the soft skill competencies possessed by graduates of Building Engineering and Railways of API Madiun.

This study aims to measure the reserve of geothermal energy for the use of alternative energy as a supply of reactive power planning for the Madiun-Ponorogo railway line. This research is a type of exploratory research that is qualitative and descriptive. The results showed that geothermal power is usually expressed as power in the electric capacity of the extraction period for a projection of 30 years. Power is calculated to reach 1900,04074 GWe, and the power is extracted by 50% percent to 950,0203700545 GWe as recoverable energy. After the recovery factor is obtained, the power output in the form of electricity is 228,0048888 GW so that it has the potential as an alternative energy supply.

Indonesia has many Level Crossing (LC) all of which are still manual with poor performance. As a result, accidents often occur. This accident was caused by the guards who late lowered the doorstop, carelessness and impatience of road users. Erratic waiting times on LC cause delays and high queues and trigger road users to break through LC doors. In Jakarta, the LC manual causes significant disruption to road users; the delay is 158.46 seconds and the queue is 66.85 m as is the case in Malang, Pasuruan and Surakarta. Many countries have implemented Automatic Level Crossing (ALC) successfully, such as the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia. ALC not only reduces disruption to road users but also minimizes human error (especially for LC manual guards). The most suitable type of ALC for Indonesia is Crossing Barrier with Obstacle Detection (CBOD). This study proves that CBOD is able to reduce disruption to road users to delay to 125,393 seconds and queue to 60,778 m. On the other hand, to control the behavior of road users needs to be supported by the installation of traffic calming; noise band, traffic channel and countdown timer. Analysis of B / C Ratio in CBOD installations including traffic calming produces tilapia 1.24, which is feasible to apply.

Prambanan Ekspres is a mode of transportation with 3500-5000 passengers per day, with a system of choosing its own seat and train. However, the lack of information on the number of passengers on each train causes several trains to build up. It is necessary to hold an innovation to improve the quality of facilities, comfort and service by making a model of the number of passengers based on the ATMega2560 microcontroller. The stages of this research include observation, design of planning tools, testing tools, taking data, and analyzing the results of research on the number of passengers. Based on the results of testing the tools and research data, it can be concluded that the accuracy of the equipment ranges from 85% to a minimum feasible limit of 60%. Then the model for detecting passengers is above the average eligibility

Mojokerto and Sidoarjo are two strategic and connected region in East Java which generate a significant travel demand. KA Jenggala (“perintis” subsidies) is one of public transport choice connected those area that has served for 5 years with rates Rp.4.000,00 per trip. The cheapness of subsidies ticket is good for pssengers but on the other hand it creates significant burden to state budget. This study aims to obtain a balance point from both sides. Using the ATP WTP method, it found that ATP value is Rp.11.552,00 and existing WTP is Rp.4.000,00. When passenger offered with the service improvement that are cash and cashless ticketing systems, frequency increase, journey and waiting time reduction and on-time performance improvement, the WTP value becomes Rp.6.500,00. The price adjustment by Rp.6.500,00 is welcomed by passenger if the service improvement implemented.

This research aimed to analyze customer satisfaction level of Lebaran trains in Java Island. Data collection was done through observation and spreading of questionnaires. The sample of this data collection is 206 respondents who traveled during Lebaran with train in Java Island. The result of the research by using Importance Performance Analysis method shows that the respondent's expectation for the train service is 82.8 percent while the respondent's satisfaction level is 65.4 percent. Customer Satisfaction Index for all attributes studied was 71.4 percent. Some of the attributes that need prioritized for improvement are considered inconsistent with the expectations of passengers: cleanliness and comfort toilets in the station and on the train, availability of facilities for the disabled, affordability of ticket prices and suitability of ticket prices with services. Other attributes that are important and considered satisfactory by respondens are information boards, station staff friendliness, cleanliness and convenience at the station, ticket service counter, train staff friendliness, cleanliness and convenience in trains, on-time departure train, punctuality of train arrival, travel time and ease of getting tickets.

This research aims to analyze delays at railway train service, especially at DAOP 7 Madiun. Primary data collection is done through observation and distribution of questionnaires. Observations were made to find out the actual departure time of train departure from the station compared to the time of departure plan. The survey results show that passengers can tolerate train delays below 10 Minutes, and most (73%) can not tolerate delays longer than 10 minutes. Statistical descriptive results indicate that 49 percent of travel experiences more than 10 minutes delay, and delays vary between each train, the average delay is 16.29 minutes with a standard deviation of 27.59 minutes. Results of delays data compared in various statistical distributions show the differences of each train delay distribution, dominated by logistics distribution and Weilbul, data of the curves show density curves tend to have skewness from standard normal distributions. The overall data of the delay is most closely related to Weilbul's distribution, although it can not be concluded with 95 percent confidence that the data is distributed Weilbul. Further analysis by examining each train at the starting station to the final station is required to complete this delayed distribution review.

Pemahaman semboyan dan rambu dalam melintasi perlintasan sebidang harus dipahami oleh pengguna jalan raya untuk meningkatkan keselamatan di perlintasan sebidang. Banyak kasus kecelakaan diperlintasan sebidang disebabnya adalah tidak mengetahui rambu dan semboyan perkeretaapian maka perlu dilakukan sosialisasi semboyan dan rambu untuk meningkatkan keselamatan di perlintasan sebidang. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dengan beberapa langkah, langkah pertama persiapan, langkah kedua praktek, langkah ketiga aplikasi dan tahap terakhir penerapan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tentang semboyan dan rambu perkeretaapian. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini, masyarakat lebih paham dan mentaati rambu-rambu yang berada di perlintasan sebidang sehingga terjadilah keselamatan di perkeretaapian

Berdasarkan UU 22 Tahun 2009 tentang lalu lintas dan angkutan jalan pasal 114 menyatakan bahwa pengguna jalan raya harus mendahulukan kereta api dan memberikan hak utama kepada kendaraan yang lebih dahulu melintasi rel kereta api. Setiap perlintasan sebidang idealnya terdapat petugas penjaga pintu perlintasan (PJL), petugas ini mempunyai kewajiban menjaga pintu perlintasan sebidang untuk mengamankan perjalanan kereta api. Berdasarkan data dari PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) menyampaikan bahwa dalam bulan januari 2020 hingga akhir tahun 2020 terdapat 198 kecelakan di perlintasan sebidang, maka perlu melakukan kegiatan Sosialisasi di perlintasan sebidang dilakukan di Jalur Perlintasan Sebidang (JPL) 138 Madiun dan JPL 08 Barat Magetan. Kegitan ini dilakukan sebelum adanya pandemi Covid -19 dan diikuti oleh Taruna dan Dosen Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun. Kegiatan sosialisasi diawali dengan melakukan membentangkan spanduk dan membagikan pamlet yang berisi himbauan dan peraturan dan etika / tata cara berkendara yang baik saat melintasi perlintasan sebidanng beserta sanksi jika tidak mematuhi peratutan tersebut
