Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to research the effect of problem based learning on students' understanding of the rights and obligations of primary school students as citizenship. The type of the research was experimental research with pretest-posttest control group research design. Results of testing the hypothesis that t value obtained is equal to 5.216 and a significance value of 0.000. Thus the t value obtained is greater than t table (5.216> 2.408), while the significance value is smaller than the value of ? (0.000 <0.05). Based on these results, the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that a significant difference between problem-based learning, the students' understanding of the rights and obligations of primary school students as citizenship. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Students Understanding, the Rights and Duties of Students. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pemahaman siswa mengenai hak dan kewajiban siswa sekolah dasar sebagai warga negara. Abstract

In this study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on students' understanding of nationalism and patriotism of elementary school students as citizens. This type of research is an experimental study in the form of a pretest-posttest control group design research design. Hypothesis testing results explain the calculated t value obtained is equal to 5,216 and a significance value of 0,000, the hypothesis testing results indicate that the calculated t value obtained is greater than the t value in the table (5.216 2.408) while the significance value is smaller than the α value (0,000 0.05). Based on these results, the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between problem-based learning, on students' understanding of nationalism and patriotism of elementary school students as citizens.

Abstract

The problem of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was that it could not be held face-to-face so that blended learning was an alternative learning solution. This problem occurs in various regions. Learning in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic is difficult to find a solution, because it is caused by various problems from students, teachers and schools. So that learning outcomes and student motivation do not decrease, Blended Learning is used to overcome them. The writing of this article uses the systematic literature review method in reviewing it. From the findings of research results in various journals by writing down keywords totaling 104,000 articles, then identified based on citations and years, so that there are 16,900 articles. Then verification of the articles based on topic suitability was carried out into 10 articles and synthesis analysis was carried out on the existing articles into 5 articles, and the final stage was to describe the findings of the articles to draw conclusions. Various findings in research show that blended learning motivates and improves student learning outcomes. Blended-Learning is seen as providing a variety of variations, completeness and learning flexibility in the use of place, time, and access to lessons.

Abstract

The long-tailed mcaque (Macaca fascicularis) has a fairly wide population distribution in Indonesia. According to IUCN data, the population of long-tailed mcaque is decreasing every year, the cause is a decrease in habitat quality. One of the habitats of long-tailed mcaque which is currently under pressure due to conversion is located in a buffer village around the Orang Kayo Hitam Forest Park (Tahura OKH). This study aims to analyze the composition and age class of long-tailed monkeys. Observation methods were used to observe long-tailed mcaque based on morphological characteristics such as coat color and body size. Based on the results of the study, the composition of long-tailed mcaque was divided into two groups, the residential group (KP) and the river border group (KS). The number in KP is 8 individuals with an age class of 5 adults, 3 immature while the number in KS is 27 individuals with an age class of 18 adults, 4 immature, 3 juvenile, 1 infants. This condition illustrates that the river border habitat is better than the residential habitat. In addition, adults and adolescents are more numerous, indicating individuals who have a function for reproduction and continue reproduction. This breeding rate is the potential for regeneration of long-tailed mcaque and the potential for the regeneration process of peat ecosystems through the role of long-tailed monkeys as pollinators for seed dispersal.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of character-based student worksheets to increase honesty in Elementary School level for fourth grade elementary school students. This will have an impact on the lack of character of honesty. This research is a quasi-experimental study, with a non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. This research involved one control class group, and one experimental class group. The research was conducted in class IV A and IV B  Elementary School in Yogyakarta city. Data collection instrument for the character variables of Honesty with a self-assessment scale, to measure the character of honesty. Data analysis used the Independent T Test statistic. The results showed that there were differences between the experimental class and the control class in terms of achieving the characters of honesty. The use of effective character-based worksheets on the honesty character of fourth grade elementary school students. This is evidenced by the results of the experimental class significance test of 0.047 greater than 0.05.

Abstract

This study is aimed designed to test effectiveness of picture story book towards understanding Cultural diversity. The Research is proceeded as Experimented Research System with pre-test post-test control group design. The Subjects of this research are students grade IV Elementary School. The Data Collection of the research is used with tests. The Research Instrument is questionnaire with test questions about Cultural diversity. Hypothetical Measurement is applied in Wilcoxon. The Result of this Research states that the application of picture story book towards understanding Cultural Diversity is reached effective. The result is shown by Differentiations Grades by the class used Picture Books and not. The Distinctions received from Significance Test with 0,031 determined lower than 0,05 can be concluded that there are differences in the results of the pre-test and post-test in this experimental class group. Based on the results of the study in the control class, it was obtained that the significance value of 0.055 was greater than 0.05, so it any difference between the pre and post test results. It can be concluded that the use of picture story books is effective in understanding the cultural diversity of fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Sengon (Falcataria moluccana) is a fast-growing species widely planted in Industrial Plantation Forests (IPF/HTI) and has high economic value. The provision of planting material must be well prepared and planned to get the appropriate nursery planting media composition. The Empty Palm Oil Bunches (EFB) biochar application improves soil's chemical and physical properties to provide nutrients for plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of EFB biochar on the growth of sengon roots. The experimental design was completely randomized (CRD) by applying four treatment levels and 20 repetitions. The treatments were (A) 100% soil (control), (B) 5% EFB biochar, (C) 10% EFB biochar, and (D) 15% EFB biochar. The data were then analyzed by analysis of variance to see the effect of the treatment on the observed root growth parameters, followed by the 5% Least Significant Difference (LSD) further test to determine differences between treatments. The parameters observed were root length, root volume, root wet weight, and root dry weight. The result showed that the application of EFB biochar increased the growth of sengon roots compared to the control. The greater the dose of the addition of EFB biochar given to the growing media, the more it showed a positive response in improving the growth of sengon roots. In this study, the 15% dose showed the best results compared to other treatments.

Abstract

Penggunaan konsentrasi kedelai yang tinggi dalam metode calcite precipitation dapat meningkatkan kadar organik. Kadar organik dapat diturunkan dengan menggunakan etanol pada rentang 20%-30% sehingga pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi kedelai dan etanol perlu dievaluasi untuk mendapatkan endapan material CaCO3 dengan kualitas terbaik. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan parameter laju hidrolisis, pengendapan CaCO3, serta kuantifikasi massa CaCO3 dan bentuk mineral yang terbentuk. Penggunaan etanol 20% pada konsentrasi kedelai 60 g/L menunjukkan hasil terbaik dengan nilai laju hidrolisis sebesar 1547 U/g dan nilai tersebut cukup dekat dengan nilai laju hidrolisis urease komersial Kishidan 2 g/L. Selain itu, massa CaCO3 yang terbentuk sebesar 2,97 g dengan jumlah kalsit lebih tinggi dibanding vaterit dan aragonit. Massa organik yang tidak larut pada larutan kedelai dengan etanol lebih sedikit daripada variasi tanpa etanol. Hal ini berkaitan dengan penggunaan supernatan yang menurunkan jumlah kadar organik. Turunnya kadar organik mempengaruhi turunnya jumlah endapan CaCO3. Bentuk endapan yang terbentuk pada kristal kalsit (rhombohedral) menjadi bentuk terbaik dalam mengikat tanah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kekuatan tanah.
