Abstract

In playing basketball, a factor that has been ignored by the students is the effect of the strength of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination in shooting free throws. This research aims to know the contribution of the strength of leg muscle in the ability of free throws, the contribution of eye-hand coordination to the ability of free throws, as well as the contribution of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination in the ability of shooting free throws. This method used was the correlation method with product moment statistics and double correlation. The results of this research are: the contribution of the strength of leg muscle (X1) toward free throws (Y) gained 32,49%; the contribution of eye-hand coordination (X2) toward free throws (Y) was 40,96%; and the contribution of the strength of leg muscle (XI) and eye-hand coordination (X2) reached 51,84%. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there are the contribution of the strength of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination toward free throws done by the students from 4th semester in Department of Physical Education Health and Recreation in Universitas Bengkulu when playing basketball.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test instruments for assessing the causes of back pain in sports. This research method uses evaluation methods. The research subject is a document. The content validity test used in this study is the expert judgment with the Delphi technique. Validation test uses Content Validity Ratio (CVR) which uses three experts.. The results of the study showed that the items and instrument indicators for assessing the causes of sport injuries on the back showed a high CVR value. The conclusion of the assessment instrument that causes back pain sport injury have high fill validity.This research aims to arrange the assessment instrument to the risk factors of back pain in sports.

Abstract

Interest and interest in the sport of volleyball becomes a very attractive option in school. Volleyball is not only suitable for all ages but can also be enjoyed by all genders. The interest in volleyball is reflected in the natural inclination of a person interested in this game, which provides opportunities for each individual to explore and develop his skills. This research is quantitative descriptive research that aims to determine the interest and factors in learning volleyball games. The sample in this study was all class XI students at Al-Fityah IT High School Pekanbaru with a total of 58 students. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire using a Likert scale and questionnaire data can be analyzed using a percentage formula. Based on the results of the research conducted, it turns out that the interest of class XI students of Al-Fityah Pekanbaru IT High School towards volleyball games is quite high, reaching 50% or equivalent to half of the total class XI students of Al Fityah IT High School. In addition, it was found that internal factors influencing interest in the game of volleyball were also at a high level, reaching 56.9%. Meanwhile, student interest based on external factors is also included in the high category, which is 48.3%.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Team assisted individualization dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PJOK materi keterampilan bola voli pada siswa kelas XI SMK Migas Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah rubrik penilaian gerak dasar bola voli. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 20 peserta didik kelas XI 4b SMK Migas Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistic deskriptif berbentuk persentase. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar bola voli. Ini ditandai dengan meningkatnya hasil gerak dasar siswa. Pada pelaksanaan Prasiklus hanya sebanyak 6 siswa (30%) mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM atau tuntas sedangkan yang kurang dari KKM sebanyak 14 siswa (70%). Pada siklus I meningkat sebanyak 13 siswa (65%) mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM sedangkan yang tidak melebihi KKM sebanyak 7 siswa (35%). Pada siklus II kembali mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebanyak 17 siswa (85%) mendapatkan nilai melebihi KKM sedangkan yang tidak melebihi KKM sebanyak 3 siswa (15%). Berdasarkan dari analisa data yang telah peneliti lakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individuallization dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PJOK materi bola voli pada siswa keas XI SMK Migas Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a model of exercise therapy for low back pain, which is expected to be used by the community to restore low back pain. This study went through eight stages by adapting the research and development of Sugiyono model as follows: (1) information gathering in the field, (2) analysis of collected information, (3) initial product development, (4) expert validation and revision, (5) small scale and revised field trials, (6) large scale and revised field trials, (7) effectiveness testing, and (8) making final products. The small scale trials were conducted on six people and a large scale trial was conducted on 12 people using a minimum sample size formula at the Therapy Clinic of Injury at Yogyakarta State University Plaza. The instruments used to collect the data were expert validation sheets, questionnaire, Visual Analog Scale and midline to measure lumbar range of motion/lumbar flexibility. The results of the study are in the form of an exercise therapy model for low back pain consisting of 20 exercises therapy, 12 flexibility exercises and 8 muscle strengthening exercises, the flexibility exercises done in 4 sets, each held for 6 to15 seconds, and the type of muscle strengthening exercise in each movement being a combination of isometric and isotonic with repetitions of 6-12 repetitions, each end of the movement being held in 6 to10 seconds, for 3 sets, recovery between sets of 30 seconds to two minutes. Total duration about 20 to 30 minutes, frequency is 5x a week. The exercise therapy model can reduce pain levels by 37.357%, improve functional disability by decreasing the functional disability index by 28.684%, and increase lumbar flexibility with an average increase of 12.126%

Abstract

Abstrak: Dengan menggunakan kurikulum mandiri dan menerapkan model Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR), penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab siswa sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran PJOK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah tindakan kelas yang dimulai dari prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 187 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 126 siswa yang terbagi dalam empat kelas. Melibatkan 32 siswa dari kelas VB, digunakan Metode nonprobability purposive sampling merupakan teknik pemilihan sampel berdasarkan karakteristik yang dianggap relevan dengan tujuan penelitian, tanpa menggunakan prosedur acak. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, yang merupakan teknik statistik untuk merangkum dan menggambarkan data menggunakan tabel, grafik, serta ukuran statistik seperti rata-rata dan deviasi standar untuk memahami karakteristik dataset secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peneliti menyesuaikan kebutuhan penelitian pada tahap prasiklus. Hasil siklus I sebesar 79,48 persen, dan hasil siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,99 persen. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TPSR dalam pembelajaran PJOK kurikulum mandiri mampu membentuk rasa tanggung jawab siswa sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran PJOK.Abstract: By using an independent curriculum and applying the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model, this study aims to increase the responsibility of elementary school students in learning PJOK. This type of research is a class action that starts from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The research population was grade V students of SDN 187 Pekanbaru totaling 126 students divided into four classes. Involving 32 students from class VB, the nonprobability purposive sampling method was used, which is a sample selection technique based on characteristics that are considered relevant to the research objectives, without using random procedures. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive method, which is a statistical technique to summarize and describe data using tables, graphs, and statistical measures such as mean and standard deviation to understand the characteristics of the dataset in depth. The results showed that the researcher adjusted the research needs at the pre-cycle stage. The first cycle results were 79.48 percent, and the second cycle results increased to 85.99 percent. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the TPSR model in learning PJOK independent curriculum is able to form a sense of responsibility of elementary school students in PJOK learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan sadar sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan dengan maksimal potensi atau keunggulan yang ada dalam diri peserta didik baik dalam segi kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotornya sebagai bekalnya dalam menjalani kehidupan. Sekolah sepakbola adalah suatu wadah untuk mendidik dan melatih dari potensi yang ada dalam diri siswa untuk dimaksimalkan keahliannya dalam bidang sepakbola yang berorientasi sebagai atlet. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari mengikuti sekolah sepakbola terhadap prestasi siswa di sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menerapkan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan merupakan teknik deskriptif. Dari keempat informan tersebut didapat bahwa mereka lebih bersemangat jika melakukan kegiatan diluar aktifitas akademik, dan mudah merasa bosan jika mereka harus berlama-lama dengan aktifitas belajar akademik. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil wawancara dengan wali kelas mereka, dilihat dari nilai rapornya keempat peserta didik tersebut termasuk siswa yang memiliki prestasi akademik dibawah rata-rata teman sekelasnya yang tidak mengikuti SSB. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa mengikuti sekolah sepakbola berpengaruh terhadap prestasi peserta didik kelas 5 SD Negeri 017 Bukit Kemuning. Dari keempat responden yang diteliti dilihat dari nilai rapor masih di bawah dari rekan-rekan lain yang tidak mengikuti SSB, selain itu juga mereka yang mengikuti SSB sedikit kesulitan untuk dapat belajar di rumah jika tidak ada tugas. Potential improved, achievement improved: The impact of soccer school on students' academic performance Abstract: Education is an activity that is carried out consciously as an effort to develop to the maximum the potential or superiority that exists in students, both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, as their provision in life. Football school is a place to educate and train the potential that exists within students to maximize their skills in the field of football which are oriented as athletes. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the impact of attending a football school on student achievement at school. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method by applying data collection techniques through interviews. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive technique. From the four informants, it was found that they were more enthusiastic when doing activities outside of academic activities and easily felt bored if they had to linger with academic learning activities. This was reinforced by the results of interviews with their homeroom teacher, judging from the report card scores of the four students, including students who had academic achievements below the average of their classmates who did not take SSB. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that attending a football school has an effect on the achievement of grade 5 students at SD Negeri 017 Bukit Kemuning. Of the four respondents studied, it can be seen that their report card scores were still below those of other colleagues who did not take part in SSB. Apart from that, those who took part in SSB had a little difficulty being able to study at home if there were no assignments.

Abstract

This review article provides an overview of the reality of sports women in the life of social dynamics. The method used is a literature study or literature review. Literature study or literature review is a research design used to collect data or sources related to a particular topic by reading, recording and managing research materials. The purpose of this method is to reveal various theories that are relevant to the problem under study. In the search conducted through the keyword "sportswomen" on several websites, 40 findings relevant to the research were displayed. Then it was re-executed according to the needs of the researcher so that 6 article data were obtained. The results showed that women in the world of sports experienced a very rapid development. Many achievements obtained by female athletes from the 1900 Paris Olympics to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo show the increasing contribution of female athletes. In addition to the acquisition of achievements, women occupy sports organizations as women leaders in sports. The existence of women in the world of sports shows that this masculine world does not only look at gender but everyone has the right to be involved in it.

Abstract

At the moment, Indonesia is moving into the endemic phase. For information on healthy living in the world of  education. The purpose of this study is to highlight the value of physical literacy as a means of  embracing this time of transition. At this time, there is no clear correlation between the online sports learning process and the field-based lectures themselves. It is necessary to promote physical literacy in order to boost physical activity. Sports learning will therefore function effectively. The study conducted a thorough review of many articles on physical literacy. A total of 12 studies were included in this review. The outcome is that, in general, physical literacy will be better applied right away, specifically when the child is still a young child.

Abstract

Running speed is one of the main factors for the achievement of rugby athletes. The test of the sprint running skills of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) Rugby athletes is the analysis of this study, where the athletes tested are athletes who play as defenders. In this research, the type of research used is quantitative research with ex post facto methods. Collecting research data using valid tests. Then analyzed with categorization and SPPS to determine the average running speed of rugby athletes. The results showed that two athletes were in poor condition, two were in the moderate category, three were in high condition, and three were in excellent condition. Meanwhile, the average running speed of all athletes is in the moderate category. Based on these results, it is necessary to improve the speed quality of rugby athletes, especially defenders, so they can help defend quickly.
