Abstract

Online gender based violence (KGB Online) or sexual violence facilitated by technology, just like real world gender-based violence, the act of violence requires the deliberate intention of harassing the victim based on gender or sexuality. The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) revealed that 8.7% of women from 15 to 64 years old have experienced online sexual harassment. In fact, as many as 3.3% of women experienced it in the past year. This figure is based on the 2021 national women's life experience survey conducted by KemenPPPA and BPS. The previous studies results showed that social media gave birth to a new form of harassment that places women as objects due to the dominance of power built by patriarchal culture and has an impact on other forms of harassment such as malicious comments, hate speech, indecent image content and online harassment. This study was aimed at examining the language of sexism in the form of online gender-based violence (KGB Online) sourced from netizen comments on the reels platform on Facebook. Data collection was taken randomly using a qualitative approach with a document study method. Based on the results and conclusions, the language of sexism has a negative impact, which is mentally bad and degrading negative body image in general.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the hijrah experience experienced by Muslim punk women through a phenomenological approach. Hijrah, in this context, is not just a physical change or lifestyle, but an existential process in building a new meaning of life and identity. Muslim punks are at the crossroads of two culturally conflicting worlds: a punk subculture steeped in the spirit of resistance, and Islamic values that emphasize spiritual obedience. Through in-depth interviews with several participants, it was found that the process of migration involves identity conflicts, self-reflection, and complex negotiation of meaning. The informants did not necessarily abandon their old identities, but rather reconstructed punk values within the framework of religiosity. Critical spirit, honesty to oneself, and social awareness are maintained, but directed towards deeper spiritual struggles. The main findings show that hijrah is a medium of authenticity transformation, where Muslim punks try to live more honestly to their deepest beliefs. A new identity as a Muslim woman does not erase the past, but becomes a continuation of the process of more complete self-formation. Thus, hijrah is not a form of rejection of an old identity, but the discovery of a new meaning that comes from past experiences and current spiritual beliefs.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren As an indigenous institution engaged in education, it is a center for the effective spread of Islam in Indonesia. The performance of the Islamic boarding school da'wah movement in its socio-historical setting has enforced and maintained the values of the Islamic tradition of Ahlussunnah wa al-jama'ah typical of Indonesia (Islam Nusantara). Its contribution is very large in enlightening the religious understanding of Muslims with its cultural strategies and approaches. As a religious and moral strengthening institution that exists and has a dialectic with the times, it must continue to adapt and reposition its educational and da'wah movement in accordance with the development trends of modern society and the challenges of globalization that have given rise to various configurations, including; advances in science and technology, communication technology, freedom to access knowledge and information, liberal, radical, intolerant attitudes and thoughts, and so on. The configuration of globalization above is an opportunity as well as a challenge for the Islamic boarding school da'wah movement in upholding Wasathiyah Islamic values in Muslim society and the world. The Islamic boarding school da'wah movement must transform from a "cultural-conventional" da'wah pattern to a "cybernetic-global" da'wah pattern while still holding the principle of delivering moderate da'wah, namely; bi al-hikmah, bi al-mauidzah al-hasanah, and bi al-mujlah in ihsan.

Abstract

The communication strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formation of the morals of students with disabilities has a very important role, because the condition of intellectual limitations requires a special approach that adjusts to the abilities and needs of students. Teachers not only function as material presenters, but also as guides, motivators, and role models that can be imitated by students. Through the use of simple language, patient and repeated two-way communication, the use of visual methods and hands-on practice, and the provision of real examples in daily life, teachers are able to instill Islamic moral values more effectively. A personal, compassionate, and consistent approach is the key to success in internalizing morals in students with disabilities. Thus, the right communication strategy of PAI teachers will help shape the religious behavior, independence, and discipline of students with disabilities, as well as foster mutual respect, manners, and responsibility. This shows that the formation of morals is not only determined by the teaching material, but is greatly influenced by the communication pattern of teachers who are humane, patient, and full of example.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on pedagogical competence, academic integrity, and the future of higher education in Indonesia, from the perspectives of disruption and transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach, employing the library research method, by analyzing reputable scientific literature published over the last five years. The results of the study show that AI plays a strategic role in enhancing the effectiveness and personalization of learning, but it also poses serious challenges related to lecturers' pedagogical competencies and the potential for violations of academic integrity. AI integration has encouraged a shift in lecturers' roles to become facilitators of technology-based learning, but this shift has not been fully supported by adequate digital literacy and institutional readiness, especially in Indonesian higher education. On the other hand, the emergence of generative AI magnifies the risks of plagiarism and technological dependence, requiring a comprehensive ethical and regulatory approach. The findings of this study confirm that AI has a dual character as a disruptive and transformative technology, with its impact highly dependent on the implementation strategy. Therefore, integrative efforts are needed that include strengthening pedagogic competence, developing adaptive policies, and instilling the value of academic integrity to ensure optimal and sustainable use of AI in higher education. This research is expected to make theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a higher education system responsive to technological developments in the digital era.
