Abstract

Ineffective management of inorganic waste poses environmental and social challenges in many communities. To address this, students from KKN-MBKM UIN FAS conducted an entrepreneurship workshop as a form of community empowerment. The aim was to enhance residents' skills in processing inorganic waste into marketable products, thereby increasing income and environmental awareness. The community service employed the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, focusing on utilizing local potentials and resources through direct training, mentoring, and hands-on practice in creating creative products from inorganic waste. The results showed improved participant capabilities in waste management and the emergence of new business opportunities based on waste processing. This activity is significant as it not only reduces waste volume but also promotes economic independence through sustainable entrepreneurship. Thus, the workshop contributes meaningfully to community empowerment and environmental preservation.

Abstract

The physiological process of pregnancy occurs in women as a result of the fertilization of male and female sex cells. Pregnancy discomfort can occur at any time during the first, second, or third trimester of pregnancy. Back pain is a common discomfort that occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy. The increasing burden of the uterus, lifting heavy loads, bending over for long periods, and walking restlessly are the causes of these changes. In terms of non-pharmacological back pain relief, ginger compresses are one effective method. This study used a two-group pre-test-post-test research design using a quasi-experimental methodology. This study was conducted at the Winda Astuti Am.Keb Marelan V Pasar II Barat Midwife Clinic, Medan Marelan District in 2024. The number of research samples was 40 people. The Wilcoxon test was used in this study. At the Winda Astuti Am. Midwife Clinic. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of social media and lifestyle on impulse buying behavior with Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) as a moderating variable for students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 95 respondents selected using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 10%. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that social media has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying behavior (t = 2.214; sig = 0.029). Lifestyle also has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying behavior (t = 9.202; sig = 0.000) with a more dominant influence (β = 0.825). However, BNPL is not proven to moderate the influence of social media on impulse buying behavior (t = 1.346; sig = 0.182) or the influence of lifestyle on impulse buying behavior (t = 0.061; sig = 0.952). This research implies the importance of developing financial literacy and students' critical awareness of the influence of social media and lifestyle in purchasing decisions, as well as the need for responsible marketing strategies from businesses related to BNPL services.

Abstract

Solving the problem of behavior disorders in adolescents can be done by encouraging the emergence of the meaning of spiritual life. The strategy is carried out by exploring the meaning of life through learning the Koran, praying in congregation and social services, developing student interests and talents, taking responsibility through Peer Tutor activities in learning English, involving students in various competitions outside of school, and strengthening independence and self-confidence through interpreniurship training. These activities are in accordance with the existential humanist approach as stated by Capuzzi & Gross (2013), Diponegoro (2011) Drajat (2002), Pasiak (2012). This activity can also strengthen the moral aspects of student leadership as stated by Rozi (2019) and in accordance with the Logotherapy theory of Viktor Frankl and Zohar (2000) which is stated in the description of Spiritual Intelligence (Spiritual Quotient, SQ).

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of investment literacy and financial risk management on investor interest in sharia stocks, particularly in Bengkulu Province. With the increasing popularity of sharia investments, understanding these factors is vital for making informed investment decisions. Methodology: A quantitative approach was used, employing a structured questionnaire distributed to 89 investors in Bengkulu Province. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and classical assumption testing. Results: The findings reveal that both investment literacy and financial risk management significantly influence investor interest (p 0.05). The adjusted R-squared value of 0.921 suggests that these factors explain 92.1% of the variation in investor interest. Findings: The study highlights the significant role of financial literacy and risk management in shaping investor interest in sharia stocks, indicating that more informed and risk-aware investors are more likely to participate in sharia investments. Novelty: This research provides new empirical evidence on the determinants of investor interest in sharia stocks, particularly in the context of Bengkulu Province, where limited research exists. Originality: The study is original in its focus on the regional market of sharia stocks and its contribution to the literature on investment behavior in Islamic finance. Conclusions: The study emphasizes the need for enhanced financial education to encourage more investor participation in sharia stock investments. Type of Paper: Research paper.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort for the potential and capabilities of the community, so that the community can realize their identity, dignity and worth to survive and develop themselves in the social, economic, religious and cultural fields. This study aims to determine the role of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) in Manjapai Village, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This research is a qualitative field research with research methods using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the role of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) in Manjapai village had not been carried out optimally, members of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) did not understand the functions and duties of the institution they carried out. One of the causes is the lack of communication between the community and community institutions and the village government. This shows that the function of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) based on the Indonesian government regulation no. 72 of 205 regarding villages cannot be implemented properly. Based on the perspective of Siyasah Syariyyah, the performance of community institutions in terms of leadership for village development has not met the characteristics of good leadership. In this case, in terms of trust, members of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) have not been optimal in carrying out their duties or mandates given, for example uneven development, and have not continued the empowerment program that the community wants.
