Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability and level of effectiveness of children in recognizing numbers at TK Muslimat NU 42 Tarbiyatul Masyithoh which is still low. There are many ways that teachers can do to improve the effectiveness of children in recognizing numbers, one of which is by playing puzzles. According to Effiana Yuriastien S. Psi et al., puzzle games are games that can stimulate children's understanding of space, the ability to imagine something mentally, and the ability to solve problems. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students at TK MNU 42 Tarbiyatul Masyithoh and the object of the research was puzzle games. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. Through the puzzle games played by students at TK MNU 42 Tarbiyatul Masyithoh, children played enthusiastically during learning activities. It was found that puzzle games at TK MNU 42 Tarbiyatul Masyithoh were able to improve children's cognitive abilities in solving problems and had an effect on the recognition of number symbols in children. In the research conducted, the puzzle game to recognize numbers is done by children sorting puzzle pieces and recognizing the colors on the puzzle pieces, from the series of processes, children are able to sort the puzzle pieces according to their respective shapes and sizes. In the puzzle game, children are trained to concentrate on sorting and pointing out the numbers on the puzzle, when playing children are able to work together with friends and children are able to share puzzle pieces with friends and patiently wait in line.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of loose part media on the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at Pertiwi Kindergarten 14.07.08 Mekarsari Village. This research was motivated by the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at Pertiwi Kindergarten 14.07.08 Mekarsari Village which still needs improvement. This research is experimental research with a pre-experimental design carried out in pre-test, treatment and post-test stages. The data collection methods used in this research are observation and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used are validity, reliability and normality tests. The results of the study showed that the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years had changed after treatment. Thorough recognition of letters using loose part media has an influence on the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at Pertiwi Kindergarten 14.07.08 Mekarsari Village. Children's ability to recognize letters during the pre-test shows that they still need improvement. Next, the child or respondent is given treatment using loose part media for 2 times, then the child is observed again using a post-test to find out the difference between the pre-test and the results after the treatment. The results of the post-test show a better change in the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years, which means that the use of loose part media has an effect on the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize numbers in children aged 4-5 years through group A bowling games at the Dahlia Indah Paud Post. This research is classroom action research (classroom actionresseach). The subjects of this study were 1 teacher, 10 children consisting of 5 girls and 5 boys in group A. In collecting the data, researchers carried out documentation and observation techniques. The instruments used are observation sheets, and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that the use of bowling numbers can improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in group A children at the Dahlia Indah Paud Post. Research in cycles I, II and III shows that the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children can be seen from the results of observations. The ability to recognize the concept of pre-action numbers is 40%, with undeveloped criteria. In the first cycle it reaches 45% with the criteria of starting to develop. The second cycle reached 65% with criteria developing as expected and in the third cycle reaching 82% with very well developed criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in group A children at the Dahlia Indah Preschool Post can be improved through bowling number games.

Abstract

Parents as the main caregiver have a very important role in the process of growth of Nanak, the reason the foster pattern given by parents to will determine the future of the child. Increasingly, the era of foster pattern that is done by people in the child is increasingly berfariasi, this can be seen in the safety of family companions provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In some occasions we may encounter some authors who share personal and field experiences related to foster patterns applied to early childhood. Ann Research conducted by researchers classified as research librarary research by collecting primary data and sekundere related to articles about parenting patterns that are contained on the Family Friends page. This research uses a qualitative approach, to interpret and explain the research object, which is an analysis of parents ' parenting pattern of early childhood in the Family friends page. The results of this research indicate that from articles written by parents on the Friends of the family page describes the parenting process that is recorded by parents in children. Where the caregiving is given to the children aims to optimize the child's growth and instill positive values in the child. In addition, some articles also explain the impact of the parenting process in children, both positive and negative impacts, so that this article can be one of the learning materials for parents in the care of children

Abstract

In the era of globalization, national identity poses a unique challenge, particularly for Indonesian diaspora children living far from their homeland. The children at Sanggar Bimbingan Sungai Mulia 5 (SB SM 5) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, are mostly migrant children growing up in environments with minimal exposure to Indonesian culture. This condition risks weakening their emotional connection to national identity and the cultural heritage of Nusantara. This international community service program aims to enhance the national awareness of children aged 10–14 years at SB SM 5 by introducing the cultural heritage of Borobudur Temple as a symbol of national civilization and traditional Javanese games such as cublak-cublak suweng. The methods used include participatory approaches, edutainment, and experiential learning, designed to create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The children participated in activities such as visual presentations, storytelling, hands-on traditional games, and reflections on national values. The results demonstrated an increase in knowledge about Borobudur from 10% to 90% and a high level of enthusiasm for traditional games. The children not only gained an understanding of Indonesian culture but also felt a sense of pride and emotional closeness to their homeland. As a follow-up, plans include the development of digital modules, regular cultural classes, and collaboration with diaspora communities to ensure the sustainability of this program. This initiative successfully established an emotional connection between diaspora children and Indonesia's cultural identity, making it a model applicable to other diaspora communities

Abstract

Children's independence is an attitude that must be instilled from an early age. However, many young children still do not have an independent attitude. This research discusses teachers' efforts to train independence in children aged 4-5 years through the storytelling method. The place of research was carried out at the Tunas Harapan Early Childhood Post. The problems discussed are (1) how teachers try to train children's independence through the storytelling method and (2) supporting and inhibiting factors faced by teachers in training children's independence. This research aims to find out and describe the efforts made by teachers in training children's independence through the storytelling method as well as describing the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by teachers in training children's independence at the Tunas Harapan Early Childhood Post. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research and the data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. For data validity, researchers used triangulation techniques. The research conclusion shows that the use of the storytelling method by teachers at Pos Paud Tunas Harapan is effective in training children's independence. Teachers use the POAC (planning, organizing, actuation, controlling) approach to design stories that teach the values ​​of independence, organize interactive activities, encourage active participation, and evaluate the results. Even though they are faced with challenges such as uncooperative children's behavior and varying family support, teachers' efforts to integrate this method with the habit of independence at school can increase the development of children's independence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan konsep permainan Balok dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak. Banyak cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak salah satunya dengan permainan balok. Permainan Balok merupakan salah satu bentuk Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE), sebagaimana yang telah ditetapkan oleh Dewan Kesejahteraan Nasional sejak tahun 1972. Alat permainan edukatif yaitu segala sesuatu yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana atau peralatan untuk bermain yang mengandung nilai pendidikan dan dapat mengembangkan seluruh aspek kemampuan anak. Dengan adanya permainan balok, pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak menjadi tidak monoton. Permainan balok dapat di implementasikan untuk mengembangkan aspek-aspek perkembangan anak, salah satunya yaitu kreativitas anak yang harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian implementasi permainan balok dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Implementasi permainan balok di TK Muslimat NU 17 Tarbiyatul Masyithoh dilaksanakan dengan mengikuti prinsip manajamen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi peran orang tua dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5–6 tahun di RA As-Sa’diyah Desa Sawangan, Kecamatan Alian, Kabupaten Kebumen. Bahasa merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh stimulus lingkungan, terutama dari orang tua sebagai pendidik pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu sebagai pendidik, fasilitator, dan motivator dalam mendukung kemampuan bahasa anak. Strategi yang digunakan meliputi membacakan cerita, membatasi penggunaan gawai, serta membiasakan anak berinteraksi di lingkungan sosial. Dukungan lembaga seperti parenting, pertemuan wali murid, dan kegiatan rumah juga memperkuat keterlibatan orang tua. Faktor pendukung meliputi kedekatan emosional dan ketersediaan media belajar, sedangkan faktor penghambat di antaranya adalah keterbatasan waktu dan literasi orang tua. Kesimpulannya, keterlibatan aktif orang tua sangat berpengaruh dalam mempercepat dan memperkuat perkembangan bahasa anak secara optimal.

Abstract

Disiplin positif merupakan suatu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam menanamkan kemampuan kontrol perilaku. Kontrol perilaku menekankan pada kemampuan anak dalam mengendalikan situasi yang tidak menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi metode disiplin positif dalam menanamkan kemampuan kontrol perilaku pada anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Rindang Kasih 1 Karangpoh. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa metode disipin positif yang diterapkan di TK Rindang Kasih 1 Karangpoh memiliki pola penerapan manajemen yaitu planning, organizing, actuating dan controlling yang baik sehingga anak memiliki kontrol perilaku yang baik.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini memiliki peran fundamental dalam pembentukan kepribadian anak. Di Kabupaten Kebumen, penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis komunitas menjadi alternatif strategi yang diyakini mampu memperkuat keterlibatan orang tua, masyarakat, dan lembaga PAUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi program pendidikan karakter berbasis komunitas, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan pendidikan lokal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 20 narasumber yang terdiri atas guru PAUD, orang tua, tokoh masyarakat, dan pejabat dinas pendidikan, serta observasi partisipatif pada lima PAUD mitra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan komunitas memperkuat efektivitas pembelajaran karakter, khususnya dalam menanamkan nilai tanggung jawab, gotong royong, dan disiplin. Sebanyak 80% guru PAUD menilai keterlibatan komunitas berdampak positif, sedangkan 65% orang tua mengaku lebih aktif mendukung kegiatan sekolah.
