Abstract

Community Service (PkM) aims to provide understanding to the community in the Depok area, which has been affected by the Hepatitis A pandemic outbreak, regarding the importance of maintaining the distance between septic tanks and drilled wells in order to prevent diseases caused by contaminated water. The method used is to provide socialization of the Minister of Health Regulation no. 3 of 2014 and SNI 2398:2017 to PKK women, cadres, in Gandul Village, Cinere Depok District, regarding septic tanks, manufacturing requirements and their distance to clean water sources. Based on the pre and post tests carried out, it showed that all PkM participants already understood the importance of the requirements for making speptic tanks and setting the distance between the septic tank and clean water wells. However, to apply in the field still requires assistance. The implications of this PkM provide an opportunity for extension workers to research further about groundwater conditions in Gandul Village in order to provide solutions for the community to anticipate the presence of existing fecal waste so as not to pollute the existing ground water

Abstract

Daerah penelitian berada pada daerah Kecamatan Karangpucung, Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujan mengetahui fasies dan sistem pengendapan pada daerah penelitian. Terutama pada kondisi geologi Formasi Halang yang dikenal juga sebagai daerah lingkungan pengendapan laut dalam atau turbidit. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode stratigrafi terukur, ditunjang dengan analisis petrografi dan mikropaleontologi Formasi halang pada daerah penelitian didominasi oleh perselingan batupasir dan batulempung atau batulanau. Hasil kajian endapan turbidit dari formasi halang dapat disimpulkan terendapakan pada sistem lobes yang membentuk kipas laut dalam, mulai upper fan dan suprafan lobes on mid fan. Lapangan penelitian ini memiliki 4 asosiasi fasies, yaitu: (1) Fasies batupasir berukuran sedang sampai halus (AF1); (2) Fasies perselingan breksi dengan batupasir tuffaan (AF2); (3) Fasies perselingan batupasir berukuran kasar sampai sedang dengan batulempung (AF3); (4) Fasies batupasir berukuran sedang sampai halus tuffaan(AF4).

Abstract

enelitian ini terletak di lapangan “AL” yang merupakan bagian dari Cekungan Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara. Adapun data yang tersedia berupa 2 data well log, well report, dan 2 data biostratigrafi Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengkorelasi data-data tersebut untuk kemudian dapat diketahui fasies serta lingkungan pengendapan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis elektrofasies dari tiga log sumur (pola kurva log), analisis marker sikuen stratigrafi, analisis biostratigrafi, analisis fasies, dan analisis lingkungan pengendapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Formasi Santul, Cekungan Tarakan memiliki asosiasi fasies yaitu shale delta plain, distributary channel, mouthbar, shale delta front dan carbonate. Sedangkan lingkungan pengendapan pada daerah penelitian terdiri dari dua lingkungan: delta plain, dan delta front. Marker sikuen pada formasi penelitian terdiri dari 10 (sepuluh) marker Sequence Boundary (SB), 9 (sembilan) marker Maximum Flooding Surface (MFS), dan 18 (delapan belas) marker Flooding Surface (FS).

Abstract

This Research was conducted in the Cilodong area and its surroundings, Cilodong district, Depok, West Java. The geology in this research area consists of Qa (alluvium), Qav ( alluvium fan), and Qv (young volcanic unit). The groundwater level in this study area ranged from 76.2-86.14 dml. This research area has a high Cl (chloride) value with a minimum value of 11,846 mg/l at SG-12 and a maximum value of 70,517 mg/l at SG-19. The difference in Cl (chloride) levels is also supported by differences in the study area such as TDS values of 40 mg/l at SG-12 and 200 mg/l at SG-18 and EC of 40 µmhos/cm at SG-12 and 400 µmhos/cm at SG-18.

Abstract

Pari Cay was known as one of significant growth of coral reef area for marine ecosystem. Pari Cay belongs to the Seribu Islands which is located in the Jakarta Bay. The islands are formed from the assemblage of marine biota assemblage. Coral reefs are a comfortable environment for the life of various underwater biota which must be preserved and protected from damage and extinction. Fish catches of fishers in Jakarta Bay are strongly influenced by the preserved of the surrounding coral reefs. The reduced number of coral reefs will reduce the catch of fishermen's fish. Through this socialization is expected that citizens can take part and participate in preserving the marine and coastal environment, especially Pari Cay coral reefs. The increasing participation of the surrounding inhabitant in marine life sustainability is expected to improve the livelihoods of the communities both from fishing and tourism. The society enthusiasm of the Pari Island with this socialization at least can find out the desire of the Pari Island Citizens to preserve the coral reefs. These a continuation of the previous socialization and changes in the awareness of the Pari Island Citizens to preserving coral reefs have been look significant.

Abstract

Kelurahan Tegal Alur, Kecamatan Kali Deres, Jakarta Barat, khususnya di RW11, memiliki masalah dengan kebutuhan air bersih. Air sumur yang ada menunjukan sifat fisik agak keruh, berwarna kuning apabila mengenai baju atau dinding, bersifat sadah atau kurang dapat melarutkan sabun, serta menyebabkan rasa tidak nyaman di kulit atau lengket. Di sisi lain, air bersih yang disediakan oleh Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) memiliki debit yang kecil, terkadang juga berwarna keruh dan hanya tersedia pada malam hari, sehingga banyak penduduk yang selanjutnya membeli air untuk keperluan hidupnya. Sejumlah data mengenai permasalahan air bersih diambil dengan mengunjungi lokasi mengenai ketersediaan air bersih dan juga sampel air bersih.  Dari hasil observasi disimpulkan bahwa diperlukan alternatif lain untuk memperoleh air bersih selain dari kedua sumber yang sudah ada. Penggunaan alat filtrasi air yang dapat mengurangi kadar pengotor yang tidak sesuai dengan kualitas air bersih merupakan salah satu jalan keluar dari permasalahan tersebut. Selanjutnya, penyuluhan mengenai pembuatan seperangkat alat filtrasi air bersih sederhana diberikan kepada masyarakat dengan harapan masyarakat dapat membuatnya secara mandiri. Jumlah peserta yang mencapai 46 orang dan banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan menunjukkan tingkat tercapainya tujuan dari penyuluhan ini.

Abstract

Used cooking oil has the potential to be recycled into decorative candles. However, the people who live in RT 12/RW 12 Kelurahan Penjaringan Utara, North Jakarta, particularly housewives, do not yet know how to use used cooking oil as a way to improve the family's finances. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling and education about used cooking oil, including information on its health risks and how to recycle it into decorative candles. The community service approach entails preparation, counseling, and training in how to make decorative candles. The majority of participants used cooking oil more than 15 times in a month and 1-3 times the same cooking oil, according to the program's results. Additionally, there has been a shift in behavior regarding the color-based feasibility limit for used cooking oil, a decline in the number of people who throw used cooking oil down the drain, and increased motivation to recycle used cooking oil into decorative candles that can be sold. From the outcomes of this program, it can be inferred that the residents responded favorably to training on how to make decorative candles from used cooking oil.

Abstract

Abstrak Pulau Pari adalah salah satu pulau kecil yang termasuk ke dalam wilayah Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta Utara. Pada penelitian ini diambil sampel sejumlah 15 buah dari sekitar Pulau Pari, dengan menggunakan hand auger. Sampel tersebut kemudian dilakukan uji granulometri. Dari hasil analisi ini kemudian didapatkan grafik histogram dan kurva kumulatif. Dari hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: Dari 15 sampel yang di analisis garnulomertri, dapat dibagi atas 3 kelompok: Kelompok 1: berlokasi di Lokasi pengamatan ID, IIC, IIIA, IIIC, IVD. Dengan ukuran butir very coarse sand, dan lingkungan pengendapan mud. Kelompok 2: berlokasi di lokasi pengamatan IVA dan IVC. Dengan ukuran butir coarse sand, dan lingkungan pengendapan mud. Kelompok 3: berlokasi di lokasi pengamatan IIB. Dengan ukuran butir medium sand dan lingkungan pengendapan estuarine sand. Kelompok 4: berlokasi di lokasi pengamatan IA, IB, IC, IIA, IID, IIID, IVB. Dengan ukuran butir silty sandstone dan lingkungan pengendapan estuarine sand. Dari data diatas, dapat diketahui bagian selatan pulau memiliki kuat arus yang lebih tinggi dibanding bagian utara pulau. Ditemukan adanya anomali, yaitu pada daerah IVB yang berada di daerah dengan kuat arus tinggi memiliki ukuran butir yang harus. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh adanya pengaruh abrasi yang kuat di bagian selatan pulau, dan juga adanya pengaruh aktivitas manusia di daerah tersebut. Kata Kunci : Granulometri, Pulau Pari, Lingkungan Pengendapan Abstract Pari Island is one of the small islands that belong to the Thousand Islands region, North Jakarta. In this study 15 samples were taken from around Pari Island, using a hand auger. The sample is then subjected to granulometry testing. From the results of this analysis then obtained histogram graphs and cumulative curves. From the results of the above research, it can be concluded as follows: From the 15 garnulomertri analysis samples, they can be divided into 3 groups: Group 1: located at ID, IIC, IIIA, IIIC, IVD. With very coarse sand grain size, and mud depositional environment. Group 2: located at IVA and IVC observation sites. With coarse sand grain size, and mud depositional environment. Group 3: located at the observation site IIB. With medium sand grain size and estuarine sand depositional environment. Group 4: located at observation sites IA, IB, IC, IIA, IID, IIID, IVB. With the grain size of silty sandstone and estuarine sand depositional environment. From the data above, it can be seen that the southern part of the island has a higher current strength than the northern part of the island. Anomalies were found, namely in the area of ​​IVB which is in an area with high currents having a grain size that must be. This is influenced by the strong influence of abrasion in the southern part of the island, and also the influence of human activities in the area. Abstract

Tahap awal meliputi studi litelatur yaitu mempelajari dan mengetahui kondisi serta karakteristik umum pada lokasi penelitian. Tahapan ini terdiri dari studi litelatur yang digunakan sebagai pedoman awal untuk mengetahui kesampaian, karakteristikk, dan kondisi daerah penelitian, tahapan berikutnya yaitu Analisis data sample mengunakan metode preparasi sample , tahapan akhir pembuatan biozonasi dan biostatigrafi mendapatkan hasil kesimpulan sebagai hipotesa dari penelitian. Didapatkan tiga jenis litologi batuan pada daerah penelitian yaitu, batupasir, batulempung, dan batuserpih. Berdasarkan satuan litostratigrafi dengan kesebandingan Formasi menurut Mudjiono, 2011 Satuan Perselingan Batu lempung dan batu serpih termasuk dalam Formasi Tawun dan Satuan Perselingan Batu lempung dan Batu serpih sisipan batupasir termasuk dalam Formasi Ngaryong dan ditemukan satu ketidakselarasan ditunjukkan dengan munculnya biodatum secara bersamaan Kandungan nanofosil pada daerah penelitian memiliki tingkat keragaman dan kelimpahan yang melimpah (Common) – sedikit melimpah (Few). Ditemukan sebanyak 15058 spesimen nanofosil dan 26 spesies nanofosil  Kata kunci: Nanofosil gampingan, , Cekungan Jawa Timur Utara.   ABSTRACT The initial stage includes a literature study, namely studying and knowing the general conditions and characteristics of the research location. This stage consists of a literature study that is used as an initial guide to determine the accomplishments, characteristics, and conditions of the research area, the next stage is sample data analysis using the sample preparation method, the final stage of making biozonation and biostatigraphy gets the conclusions as a hypothesis from the research. Three types of rock lithology were found in the study area, namely, sandstone, claystone, and shale. Based on lithostratigraphic units with formation comparability according to Mudjiono, 2011 Claystone and shale intercalation units are included in the Tawun Formation and Sandstone intercalated claystone and shale intercalation units are included in the Ngaryong Formation and an unconformity was found as indicated by the appearance of biodatum concomitantly containing nanofossils in the study area has a high level of diversity and abundance (Common) - a little abundant (Few). 15058 nanofossil specimens and 26 nanofossil species were found  Keywords: Limestone nanofossils, North East Java Basin

Abstract

Eco enzyme is a product of organic waste derived from vegetables and fruits, fermented with sugar in a container and allowed to stand for three months to become an active solution. The use of eco-enzyme as a natural cleaning solution contributes to protecting the environment because it treats household-scale organic waste. The community service program aims to enhance Cigombong Village's potential with a community that cares about the environment that has been formed. The eco enzyme can be used to clean all areas of the house, clothes, vegetables, and fruits, fertilize plants, eliminate pests, and improve the quality of plants; the eco enzyme is also very effective in repelling plant pests. The eco enzyme can also be utilized to stimulate plant hormones to enhance fruit and vegetable quality and improve crop yields. Making eco enzymes can be done simply, using easily available equipment. The raw materials for eco enzyme consist of brown sugar, water, and fruit peel waste in a ratio of 1:10:3. The container used for the eco enzyme is a plastic jar with a lid. A training program for making eco enzymes from fruit and vegetable peel waste can protect the environment, increase community plantation yields and make Cigombong village a fruit tourism village.
