Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between arm and waist muscle strength and the wrestling performance results in Bandung Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population of this study consists of 30 wrestling athletes from Bandung Regency, with a sample size of 15 people selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used include measuring the strength of the waist or leg muscles with the back and leg dynamometer test, measuring the strength of the arm muscles with the handgrip dynamometer test, and measuring the waist endurance with the 30-second waist endurance test using a doll as the media. Based on table 4.3, the Pearson correlation test shows that. If the calculated r > table r, then reject HO, which means accepting HI. Whereas if r calculated < r table, then HO is not rejected, which means HI is rejected. Based on the analysis results above, the arm muscle strength obtained a calculated r value of 0.884 > table r value of 0.553 for the throwing result, and the waist muscle strength obtained a calculated r value of 0.785 > table r value of 0.553. Therefore, HO is rejected and HI is accepted, which means there is a relationship between arm and waist muscle strength training and the throwing results in the wrestling branch of the Bandung Regency sports. The author draws conclusions about this research based on the results of the data analysis. Strength of the arm and waist muscles is significantly correlated with the performance of the Bandung Regency wrestling branch. Similarly, there is a significant relationship between the performance of the Bandung Regency wrestling branch and the strength of the waist muscles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the fish net game on the sprint running learning ability of 35 fifth-grade students at SDN Sekarwangi.  The method in this study uses a quantitative pre-experimental one-group pretest and posttest method.  Based on the results of the normality test, it is known that the overall pretest data is 0.179 and the posttest is 0.050>0.05, which are normally distributed. Then, in the next test using the homogeneity test, it was found that the significance value (Sig) Based on Mean was 0.987 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the variance of the experimental group data is the same or homogeneous. Then, it was tested using the paired sample T test, and it was found that the Sig. value showed a result of 0.021<0.05, which means that H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected.  Then, in the regression analysis, an R-Square value of 0.386 was obtained.  This indicates that 38.6% of the variability in the dependent variable (post-test) can be explained by the independent variable (pre-test), while the remaining 61.4% is influenced by other factors or contributions from other variables.  Conclusion, that the results of sprint running learning can be influenced by the fishnet game.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal learning of basic dribbling techniques in basketball at SDN Bangkir. This study aims to improve students' coordination skills in performing basic dribbling techniques using chair media among fifth-grade students of class V-A at SDN Bangkir. This research was conducted at SDN Bangkir with the research sample population being the fifth-grade students of class V-A for the 2025/2026 academic year, consisting of 31 students, including 21 boys and 10 girls. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with a research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which focuses on cycles of reflection and continuous action. This research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action implementation, and observation. This classroom action research includes planning, action implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. Data collection is carried out at the monitoring and evaluation stage using student activity observation sheets and teacher activity sheets. Then the data were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the first cycle of the study showed a completion rate of 16% or 5 students who had completed it. In the second cycle, there was a completion rate of 90% or 28 students who had completed it. Meanwhile, in cycle III, 100% or 30 people have achieved mastery. This shows that the actions taken in the first, second, and third cycles by both teachers and students can be said to have completed the learning process. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that using chair media can improve the basic dribbling technique coordination in basketball. From the research results, the researcher suggests that PJOK teachers should play a more active role during the implementation of teaching and learning activities so that students respond better and show more enthusiasm towards the provided lessons.
