Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore how Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Social Media affect to Customer Engagement at the MSMEs in the city of Bandung. This study used a descriptive-quantitative approach involving 336 SMEs in the city of Bandung. Data were collected through questionnaires and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship between CRM and Social Media. The direction of the relationship is positive which shows a unidirectional relationship pattern, which means that when there is an increase in CRM it will be followed by an increase in Social Media, and vice versa. Based on the test results it can also be concluded that CRM and Social Media have a significant effect on Customer Engagement, both jointly and partially. The suggestions for further research are to examine whether customer engagement can affect customer loyalty, especially to the consumers in today's digital era.

Abstract

Abstract

In the digital economy, sustainability has become a strategic driver of customer loyalty and competitive differentiation in e-commerce. This study investigates how environmentally responsible and ethically sound practices—such as eco-friendly packaging, carbon-neutral shipping, and ethical sourcing—enhance brand trust, customer retention, and long-term profitability. Using a systematic literature review and case study analysis, the research explores the connection between sustainability efforts and key business outcomes. Findings indicate that while sustainable practices may incur short-term costs, they contribute to improved brand reputation, reduced supply chain risks, and stronger alignment with environmentally conscious consumers. Ethical sourcing enhances transparency and reduces reputational risks, while green logistics minimize environmental impact. The study emphasizes the need for e-commerce businesses to embed sustainability within operational strategy to meet evolving consumer expectations and market demands. Despite the reliance on secondary data, the insights offer actionable guidance for companies seeking to balance ethical responsibility with commercial success.

Abstract

This systematic review investigates the relationship between High-Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and employee resilience. As organizations face increasing volatility and uncertainty, understanding how HR practices contribute to workforce resilience has become essential. A systematic search was conducted across Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar for peer-reviewed articles published between 2012 and 2024. Following PRISMA guidelines, 47 relevant studies were selected based on inclusion criteria focusing on empirical or conceptual linkages between HPWS components (e.g., training, empowerment, performance appraisal) and employee resilience outcomes. The review identifies three central themes: (1) HPWS fosters resilience through skill-building and autonomy-enhancing practices; (2) psychological safety, leadership support, and organizational culture act as key mediators or moderators; (3) resilient employees contribute to adaptability, engagement, and organizational sustainability. The review also reveals a geographic and methodological gap—most studies are concentrated in developed economies and rely on cross-sectional data. This article offers a synthesized pathway between HPWS and employee resilience, integrating multiple theoretical lenses including the AMO framework and Conservation of Resources Theory. It also provides HR practitioners with practical guidance on designing resilience-enhancing systems. HPWS, when strategically implemented, can significantly enhance employee resilience. Future research should explore longitudinal impacts and cultural contexts to deepen understanding
