Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a state-owned coal mining company, must comply with government regulations regarding software licenses. They face difficulties monitoring and managing licenses that could lead to violations. To solve this problem, we try to design a website-based UI/UX for Software License Management System. This research aims to provide an intuitive interface and a comfortable user experience employing the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, which consists of three main stages: Needs Analysis, Design and Prototyping, and Evaluation. Evaluation is carried out through usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Test results indicate that UCD is effective in designing a system responsive to user needs with a high level of usability. With an effectiveness of 99%, efficiency of 96.67%, and an SUS score of 88.25, this system design receives an 'Acceptable' rating, a (B) grade, and falls into the 'Excellent' category. The designed system is deemed suitable for further development towards the implementation phase.

Abstract

Website development usually involves programming experts in creating websites as information media and a server is needed as a home for the website being developed. These two reasons make websites very difficult for laypeople, especially teachers in educational institutions. Teachers have simple duties and functions in teaching. Technically, a teacher must be able to operate applications, both websites and social media information media. On the other hand, a teacher also needs a media for publishing information related to the profession being pursued, not only the publication of personal information, daily activities, but also the publication of teaching materials, new things related to learning, both to students and to the general public. The problem that arises is that not all teachers can create reliable websites and online access. Based on the survey results, at LPD Al Bahjah there are teachers who are very enthusiastic about operating personal websites. The solution offered is in the form of website development on a platform that has a template that is integrated with artificial intelligence in the process of personifying the user interface and selecting a website theme according to user input. The results of the community service carried out are that the community service participants are very enthusiastic in socializing website development, not only general technical use but also successfully creating personal websites.

Abstract

Mitra pada Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Mitra merupakan salah satu sekolah yang telah memiliki fasilitas memadai serta guru-guru yang kompeten. Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses belajar mengajar, diharapkan semua guru dapat diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membuat media pembelajaran. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yaitu Canva. Canva merupakan platform berbasis web yang menyediakan fitur-fitur yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat berbagai jenis desain konten visual, seperti presentasi, poster, dan sebagainya. Sebanyak 82% guru SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung telah mengetahui Canva namun belum optimal dalam penggunaan fiturnya, khususnya fitur kecerdasan buatan atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Artificial Intelligence (AI). Oleh karena itu, tim pelaksana PKM Universitas Sriwijaya memberikan pelatihan terkait pemanfaatan fitur AI pada Canva yang dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Kegiatan telah terselenggara pada 19 September 2024 dengan metode penyuluhan dengan peserta sebanyak 32 orang guru. Tim pelaksana PKM memberikan tutorial praktis penggunaan fitur AI pada Canva yang langsung dipraktikkan oleh seluruh peserta. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa 89% menyatakan fitur AI pada Canva dianggap mudah digunakan, 81% menyatakan fitur AI pada Canva sesuai dengan kebutuhan, dan 97% menyatakan akan memanfaatkan fitur AI pada Canva secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

The process of conducting business online using the internet and network-connected devices, such as the Lazada platform, is known as e-commerce, or electronic commerce. There is a decrease in the quantity of users on Lazada. The degree of consumer happiness is one of the many variables that may be causing this reduction. The degree to which a customer's expectations and actual product usage experience align is a key indicator of customer happiness. The purpose of this study is to assess users' satisfaction levels with the Lazada application. This study employs a single technique, End-User Computing happiness (EUCS), to measure customer happiness. EUCS includes multiple characteristics, including content, correctness, format, timeliness, and ease of use. Based on the responses from 115 participants in the research questionnaire, these five factors fell into the satisfied group.

Abstract

Author Name Disambiguation (AND) is a problem that occurs when a set of publications contains ambiguous names of authors, i.e. the same author may appear with different names (synonyms) in other published papers, or author (authors) who may be different who may have the same name (homonym). In this final project, we will design a model with a Deep Neural Network (DNN) classifier. The dataset used in this final project uses primary data sourced from the Scopus website. This research focuses on integrating data from Indonesian authors. Parameters accuracy, sensitivity and precision are standard benchmarks to determine the performance of the method used to solve AND problems. The best DNN classification model achieves 99.9936% Accuracy, 93.1433% Sensitivity, 94.3733% Precision. Then for the highest performance measurement, the case of Non Synonym-Homonym (SH) has 99.9967% Accuracy, 96.7388% Sensitivity, and 97.5102% Precision.

Abstract

Cardiac arrest remains a critical concern in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), with alarmingly low survival rates. Early prediction of cardiac arrest is challenging due to the complexity of patient data and the temporal nature of ICU care. To address this challenge, we explore the use of Deep Learning (DL) models, specifically Long ShortTerm Memory (LSTM), Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM), and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), for forecasting ICU patient heart rates. We utilize a dataset extracted from the MIMIC III database, which poses the typical challenges of irregular time series data and missing values. Our research encompasses a comprehensive methodology, including data preprocessing, model development, and performance evaluation. Data preprocessing involves regularizing and imputing missing values, as well as data normalization. The dataset is partitioned into training, testing, and validation sets to facilitate model training and evaluation. Fine-tuning of hyperparameters is conducted to optimize each DL architecture's performance. Our results reveal that the GRU architecture consistently outperforms LSTM and BiLSTM in predicting heart rates, achieving the lowest RMSE and MAE values. The findings underscore the potential of DL models, particularly GRU, in enhancing the early detection of cardiac events in ICU patients.

Abstract

Data management at the village level still faces various obstacles, especially in recording and utilizing information related to regional potential, such as economic, social, and infrastructure aspects. The diversity of data documentation hinders the analysis process and decision-making by the Village Head based on accurate data. There are weaknesses in data and document access, resulting in inefficiency in searching, updating, and validating data. The development of information systems at the village level is an important step in improving the efficiency of public services and administrative transparency. This study aims to apply the Agile Framework, especially the Scrum method, in the development of the Plaju Darat Village Information System, Palembang City. The system developed is designed to manage population data, regional potential, and administrative services more efficiently and responsively. This research method uses a qualitative approach with this research design, which involves a system development process through five sprints over five weeks. The results of the study show that the application of the scrum method allows the creation of more flexible and iterative applications so that they can quickly adapt to the needs of government administration. The evaluation of the system usability assessment using SUS (System Usability Scale) achieved a score of 81.06% where the system developed using the agile method has been able to provide optimal results not only in terms of good application development in a short time, but also in terms of usability that has been well received by users.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in online marketplaces has significantly influenced consumer shopping behavior, with applications such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Zalora, and Bukalapak leveraging advances in information and communication technology to provide faster and more efficient shopping experiences. However, frequent system disruptions often affect user satisfaction, emphasizing the need for improved information systems. This study, conducted in South Sumatra with 334 respondents, utilized questionnaire data that were processed and visualized using R, where decision-support metrics were analyzed through the TOPSIS method with equal weights and a normalized respondent data matrix calculate_topsis  function(data, weights = c(0.2, 0.2, 0.2, 0.2, 0.2)), normalized_matrix as.matrix(data responden), and the methodology integrated both the usability approach and the TOPSIS method within an R Shiny environment. The findings show that data visualization effectively applied the usability and TOPSIS methods, with usability evaluation results indicating average scores of Memorability (4.263), Satisfaction (4.186), Learnability (4.146), Efficiency (4.101), and Low Error Rate (3.749), where Memorability achieved the highest score, while the TOPSIS results highlighted Learnability as the most significant factor.

Abstract

Understanding user sentiment from e-commerce reviews is essential for platform improvement and business strategy. This study compares three machine learning algorithms—Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost—for sentiment classification of Indonesian-language Tokopedia reviews. A dataset of 6,822 user reviews was preprocessed through tokenization, stopword removal, and TF-IDF vectorization. To address class imbalance, the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied to the training set. Models were evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Results demonstrate that Random Forest achieved the highest accuracy at 86.86%, followed by Logistic Regression at 84.86%, and XGBoost at 82.60%. The application of SMOTE significantly improved classification performance across all models, particularly for minority sentiment classes. These findings indicate that tree-based ensemble methods, especially Random Forest, are effective for sentiment analysis in imbalanced e-commerce datasets. This research provides practical insights for e-commerce platforms to implement automated sentiment monitoring systems, enabling faster response to customer feedback and targeted service improvements. However, the study is limited to Tokopedia reviews and may not generalize to other platforms or languages. Future work should explore deep learning approaches and cross-platform validation to enhance model robustness.
