Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the skills that every individual must master in the 21st century. Each person has a different level of creative thinking. Measurement of creative thinking needs to be carried out so that in the learning process teachers can determine the learning methods and models that will be intensified. The aim of this research is to describe the creative thinking of high school students in Lombok which was accessed through a questionnaire. This research is survey research. The sample determination method is convenience sampling. The respondents involved were 731 students spread across 14 high schools in 3 districts in Lombok. Data were analyzed descriptively with percentages. The research results show that the average creative thinking of high school students in Lombok is in the creative category. This research is part of preliminary research, and for further research this data is verified with a creative test.

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer from gamal leaves contains the nutrients N, P, K, Ca and Mg which are useful in plant growth and vegetative development. This research aims to determine the effect of the best dose of gamal leaf liquid organic fertilizer in increasing the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). This type of research is a pure experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consists of 5 dose treatments, namely P0 0 ml/l water, P1 30 ml/l water, P2 60 ml/l water, P3 90 ml/l water, and P4 130 ml/l water. Each treatment was repeated 5 times. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, and leaf width. Next, the data was analyzed using One Way ANOVA 5%. The results of the research showed that the best dose of gamal leaf liquid organic fertilizer was in the 130 ml/l treatment, namely the highest plant height was 21.50 cm, the largest number of leaves was 11.8, and the largest leaf width was 10.20 cm. The significant value of the 5% ANOVA test results is 0.000. There is a significant value, namely P < 0.05, so gamal leaf liquid fertilizer has a significant effect on each dose of gamal leaf liquid fertilizer on the vegetative growth of mustard greens. The results of the validation analysis of Student Worksheets (LKM) showed that from the three expert validators, an average validation result of 82% was obtained with very good qualifications, and was declared suitable for use as a LKM guide in plant physiology courses.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of visual comic media on student learning motivation based on different genders. The study applies visual comic media to investigate whether there are differences in learning motivation between male and female students. The activities were conducted at SD Negeri 1 Malaka, North Lombok Regency, involving a total of 45 students. The research utilized a pre-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test design within a single treatment group. The instrument used was a motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS model, covering aspects of attention, relevance, satisfaction, diligence, self-reliance, and self-confidence. The analysis results indicate significant differences in the attention and diligence aspects. Furthermore, female students showed higher motivation compared to male students. These findings indicate that demographic factors such as gender influence responses to learning media such as visual comics. This suggests a need to consider gender factors in the design of visual learning media to achieve maximum effectiveness in learning, particularly in enhancing student learning motivation.
