Abstract

Materi pembelajaran IPAS banyak yang bersifat kontekstual, karena berkaitan dengan fenomena alam dan kehidupan social sehari-hari. Namun konsep tersebut sering kali abstrak dan membutuhkan pemahaman yang mendalam, serta sering kali melibatkan proses dan teori yang kompleks mengakibatkan kejenuhan jika hanya disampaikan dengan metode ceramah, oleh karena itu di butuhkankan model pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : 1. Tahapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Group Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media card sort pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV MIS Darul Ulum Palangkaraya. 2. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berrbantuan media card sort Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV MIS Darul Ulum Palangkaraya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes observasi keaktifan belajar siswa (pretest dan posttest). 1.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran ini berjalan dengan sangat baik, dengan total nilai observasi mencapai 93. Dengan penerapan yang berjalan sangat baik juga berdampak pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. 2. Adapun nilai pretest siswa diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 63,56, sementara rata-rata nilai posttest meningkat menjadi 80,86. Hasil analisis statistik dengan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansin 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi (a) 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan. Nilai t hitung sebesar -10,715, Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara keaktifan belajar siswa  sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran yang diterapkan terbukti berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada materi Keunikan Kebiasaaan Masyarakat pada kelas IV A MIS Darul Ulum Palangkaraya.

Abstract

Some class X students at SMAN 5 Palangka Raya face problems reading the Qur'an correctly, especially constrained by tajweed, letter makhraj, and fluency. In class X, PAI teachers have never used technology-based media. This condition requires the right way to improve students' ability to read the Qur'an with interesting and interactive learning media. This study aims to analyze students' activities in the Qur'an learning process, as well as to see the improvement of students' Qur'an reading ability at SMAN 5 Palangka Raya by using Edpuzzle media. This research uses quantitative method with pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques are observation, test, documentation. The results of this study show that students benefit from the use of Edpuzzle media, the acquisition of the Paired Sample T test found a real difference between the ability of students before and after treatment, with a sig. value of 0.000 <0.05. The calculated t-value is -9.118, meaning that the average is lower before treatment than after treatment. Analysis of the N-Gain of 0.3324 places the increase in results in the moderate category. The use of Edpuzzle in learning to improve the ability to read the Qur'an at the high school level is still rarely studied, so this research is expected to contribute to the utilization of Edpuzzle as a media innovation that supports Qur'an learning in schools.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilihat dari permaslahan yang ada dilapangan yaitu kemampuan anak-anak diwilayah perbatasan rendah pengetahuannya, seperti anak-anak yang sudah tergolong kelas tinggi namun belum bisa membaca. Hal ini dikarenakan faktor orang tua dan pihak sekolah bermasalah pada saat kenaikan kelas. Sehingga ketika sekolah tidak menaikkan kelas akan terjadi pertentangan, maka dari itu perlu adanya bimbingan diluar jam sekolah. Tujuan adanya PKM untuk memberikan Pendampingan Pengajaran Melalui Rumah Binaan Anak KKN Kebangsaan di Wilayah Perbatasan Indonesia -Malaysia agar anak-anak bisa mendapatkan pendidikan diluar jam sekolah secara gratis sehingga problem rendahnya pengetahuan anak dapat di atasi. Metode PKM ini menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan pengajaran kepada anak-anak di Rumah Binaan Anak. Pengajaran dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali dalam rentan waktu 3 kali dalam seminggu (Hari Senin, Rabu dan Kamis). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pendampingan pengajaran di Rumah Binaan Anak telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Ketertarikan anak- anak berkunjung di perpustakaan sangat rendah, setelah adanya kombinasi kegiatan berupa Rumah Binaan Anak secara gratis dengan literasi yang bertempat di perpustakaan memberikan peningkatan antusias anak-anak mengikuti, bahkan selaku orang tua anak juga ikut serta mendampingi anak-anaknya. Pendampingan ini memiliki keunggulan dimana anak-anak juga diberikan pembiasaan membaca diperpustakaan sebeleum pembelajaran dimulai, sehingga PKM ini sangat memberikan manfaat yang baik untuk anak-anak.

Abstract

This study stems from the fact that there are still many students in class IV-A SDN-1 Kalampangan who have not been able to exceed the criteria for achieving learning objectives. Based on the results of tests conducted at the time of pre-research, only 25% of students achieved the criteria for achieving learning objectives.  Therefore, this study aims to 1) Describe the implementation of learning by using smart monopoly (monopin) learning media in the subject of IPAS force material around us in class IV A students of SDN 1 Kalampangan, 2) Improve learning outcomes of IPAS subject matter of forces around us through monopin learning media in class IV A students of SDN 1 Kalampangan. This study uses a classroom action research method (PTK) with the Kemmis & McTaggart model which includes four steps, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of IV-A homeroom teacher and 16 students. Data collection in this study used instruments including observation using observation sheets, interviews using interview guidelines, tests, and documentation. The results showed that 1) Learning by using monopin learning media can create an effective and fun learning atmosphere, besides that student learning outcomes have increased, 2) At the pre-cycle stage, the number of students who were complete was 4 people (25%) and those who were not coumplete were 12 people (75%). Cycle I, out of 16 students who were complete as many as 11 students (68.75%) and those who were not complete were 3 students (31.25%). Whereas in Cycle II, there were 14 students (87.50%) who were complete and 2 students (12.50%) who were not complete.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Animated Drawings learning media in improving learning outcomes in drawing, as well as to determine student learning outcomes after the application of Animated Drawings learning media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study consisted of 22 fourth grade students at SDIT AL-Qonita Palangka Raya, where 11 female students and 11 male students. With data collection techniques consisting of observation, documentation, and tests. The results of this study indicate that in the application of Animated Drawings learning media, it can create learning that is increasing, creative, effective in the quality of learning outcomes and is able to encourage students to think critically. In addition, the activities of teachers and students during the learning process can also have an effect, but both increase with very good criteria. The students' learning outcomes from cycle I were on average 7.409 and classical completeness was 23%, and increased in cycle II with an average value of 12.409 and classical completeness of 77%.

Abstract

The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at IAIN Palangka Raya is the only PGMI study program in Central Kalimantan Province. To meet the needs of MI teachers in the province of Central Kalimantan, the PGMI study program must continue to develop a curriculum that meets the needs of stakeholders. The purpose of this study was to describe whether the need assessment carried out in the curriculum development of the PGMI study program IAIN Palangka Raya was in accordance with the needs of stakeholders. This research method used descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation with the subject of the secretary of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education study program and stakeholders (five madrasah/school principals and five civil servant teachers) at MIN 1, 2, 3, MIS Miftahul Huda 2 and SDN 5 Menteng, Palangka Raya City. The results showed that the development of the curriculum for the primary school teacher education study program at IAIN Palangka Raya was based on MBKM and OBE with several changes and additions to courses: adding the credit load for general courses and reducing the credit load for religious courses, streamlining the credit load for religious courses to become PAI courses, adding the Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus program, namely Teaching Assistance in 2022 and adding a lecturer exchange program. Curriculum development was carried out by conducting a need assessment involving stakeholders, graduate users, students, deputy dean I and homebase lecturers with study program expertise.

Abstract

Critical thinking includes higher processes, such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, conclusion, and reflection. This research aims to determine the profile level of students' critical thinking abilities. The research sample consisted of 28 students taken by random sampling consisting of 2 classes. Data was obtained through test and non-test techniques which included a critical thinking ability test using 20 questions. Meanwhile, the non-test uses an observation sheet on students' critical thinking abilities. Analysis of data obtained from the results of students' critical thinking skills tests was then analyzed using analysis items with the Rasch model. The results of the profile analysis of students' critical thinking skills were classified as moderate. This is proven by test results and observations in basic biology courses. Based on the results of tests on students' critical thinking skills, it is known that there are 16 students who have high levels of critical thinking skills, 5 students with moderate critical thinking skills, and 6 students with weak critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, the results of observations of the critical thinking abilities of Bima Muhammadiyah University students in basic biology courses are in the moderate critical thinking ability category with a category score of around 68.06%.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the learning methods employed during the COVID-19 pandemic for first-grade students in SD/MI schools in Palangka Raya City. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from school principals and first-grade teachers at four different SD/MI schools. The study employed Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, incorporating triangulation for data validation. The findings reveal four distinct learning methods implemented during the pandemic: online learning, limited face-to-face learning (PTMT), health protocol-compliant face-to-face learning, and complete offline face-to-face learning. Online learning was primarily used when strict social distancing measures were in place. PTMT was adopted to combine online and limited in-person sessions, ensuring minimal physical interaction. Health protocol-compliant face-to-face learning involved strict adherence to health guidelines during in-person classes. In contrast, complete health protocol offline face-to-face learning resumed normal classroom activities when permitted. The research concludes that these methods varied in effectiveness and adaptation based on the schools' resources and students' needs. This study highlights the diverse approaches schools took to maintain educational continuity, showcasing the flexibility and resilience of the education system in Palangka Raya City during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Natural and Social Science learning using PhET simulation media and to examine its effect on students’ learning outcomes. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, employing a one-group pretest–posttest model. The participants consisted of 26 students, and data were collected through teacher and student activity observation sheets, as well as pretest and posttest assessments. The findings indicate that the use of PhET simulation media in teaching electricity was highly effective, with teacher and student activity scores averaging 97.5% and 92.3%, respectively. The mean pretest score was 51.15, which increased to 84.23 in the posttest. Because the data were not normally distributed, the Wilcoxon test was applied, yielding a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). These results demonstrate a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, suggesting that PhET simulation media can significantly enhance student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Science instruction.

Abstract

This study is based on the problem of madrasah exams that cannot be conducted directly or in writing due to the impact of covid-19 which requires the implementation of madrasah exams to be conducted online. So that madrasah exams are conducted online using TCExam application conducted in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya and what obstacles occur and how the implementation of madrasah exams using the TCExam application is specifically on madrasah exams in the religious field studied. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning of madrasah exam implementation using TCExam application in the religious field, constraints in the implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application in the religious field and students' response to the implementation of madrasah exams using the TCExam application. The research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The place of this research is MTsN 1 Palangka Raya. The subjects of this study were the Head of Madrasah, Wakamad curriculum, Operator, and Teacher of Religious Affairs. Data collection using interview techniques and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, presenting and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is done using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study show that 1. Planning the implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application in the field of religion in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya, namely the simulation and explanation from the operator to teachers for the use of TCExam application. 2. Implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application. 3. Constraints in the implementation of madrasah exams using tcexam application in the field of religion in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya namely in students who are sometimes late to log in madrasah exams using the TCExam application, further constraints in the internet network of students are unstable and also in the implementation of madrasah exams using the online TCExam application is another obstacle also that students can commit fraud or cheating in this case the role of parents is very important to supervise students in the implementation of online madrasah exams using the TCExam application.
