Abstract

In the era of rapidly developing technology, the adaptation of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) paradigm is crucial to improve the values of religious education in adolescents. Digital transformation has affected the way adolescents access Islamic religious information and practices, triggering the need to reform the PAI paradigm to remain relevant and effective. The purpose of this study is to determine the Role of Senior High Schools (SMA) in Central Kalimantan in Developing Islamic Education for Adolescents. Field Overview in the Age of Technology. This research uses a descriptive method of analysis with a qualitative type. The results of this study show that one of the schools, Al-Khair Islamic High School in Central Kalimantan, displays a strong commitment in the development of Islamic religious education. This is evidenced by the number of students as many as 500 people and high teacher qualifications, this school provides great potential in providing quality Islamic religious education. The use of technology in learning, collaboration with religious institutions, and structured evaluation systems are concrete efforts made by schools. Despite challenges such as a lack of understanding of religious teachers' technology and limited internet access, Al-Khair Islamic High School has taken continuous improvement measures, such as technology training for religious teachers. Thus, this school shows seriousness in meeting the demands of the times and improving the quality of Islamic religious education for the younger generation in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada masa pandemi Covid 19 kelas I di SD/MI se Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah dan Guru kelas I yang terdiri dari 16 sekolah SD/MI yang tersebar di 1 Kota dan 4 daerah tingkat 2 provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, yaitu kota Palangka Raya terdiri dari 4 SD/MI, Kapuas terdiri dari 4 SD/MI, Kotawaringin Timur terdiri dari 4 SD/MI, Pulang Pisau terdiri dari 2 SD/MI, dan Katingan terdiri dari 2 SD/MI. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Miles and Huberman dengan teknik pengabsahan data triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam pembelajaran daring dari 16 sekolah yang diteliti 15 sekolah melakukan pengurangan jam belajar selama 10 menit, sedangkan 1 sekolah lainnya selama 5 menit, dengan 1 sekolah yang tetap melaksanakan pembelajaran luring. Adapun media yang digunakan didominasi oleh Whatsapp, dan video call WA. Dalam pembelajaran PTMT diketahui dari 16 sekolah yang diteliti 50% menggunakan pergantian jam atau sesi, sedangkan 50% lainnya menggunakan pergantian hari masuk. Adapun strategi yang digunakan dalam PTMT diantaranya dengan penggunaan double camera. Selanjutnya dalam pembelajaran luring beberapa kegiatan sebagai usaha pencegahan learning loss yaitu dengan program Jam ke Nol dan matrikulasi.

Abstract

The importance of learning motivation is as a form of encouragement in learning that arises in students consciously to carry out learning activities, making it easier to achieve learning goals in PAI subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah. The purpose of this study is to determine the motivation to learn. This type of research is mixed methods, which is the subject of 67 grade VIII students of SMPN 8 Palangka Raya and the informant is a PAI teacher. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data validation techniques use source triangulation, tabulation techniques and percentages, while data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that student motivation in learning PAI at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya with a low level of 32.83%, a medium level of 44.77%, a high level of 20.89% and a very high level of 1.49%. So it can be concluded that overall student motivation in participating in PAI learning is 74.82% included in the medium motivation category. The intrinsic factors that affect student motivation include student perseverance in participating in PAI learning, feeling needed in PAI Learning and the existence of hopes and aspirations with PAI learning. While extrinsic factors such as a conducive learning environment, teachers who teach PAI learning and facilities in PAI learning.

Abstract

Pembinaan ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembinaan majlis siswa pada majlis taklim di sekolah MAN Kota Palangka Raya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan baca Quran siswa yang didampingi oleh mahasiswa. Majlis taklim merupakan forum pendidikan agama yang memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang ajaran Islam, termasuk keterampilan membaca Al-Quran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengkaderan ini adalah metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Hasil pembinaan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan siswa pada majlis taklim memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan baca Quran dan selama proses pengabdian terdapat 10 siswa yang berhasil mengikuti program majlis taklim. Siswa yang terlibat dalam majlis taklim secara rutin menunjukkan kemajuan yang lebih cepat dalam hal tajwid dan kefasihan membaca dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti majlis tersebut. Selain itu, majlis taklim juga berperan dalam membangun karakter spiritual dan kedisiplinan siswa. Dengan demikian, pengkaderan majlis siswa pada majlis taklim di sekolah dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan baca Quran serta pengembangan karakter religius siswa.

Abstract

Character education in schools is very important in forming students' dignified and socially aware personalities. One of the characters that needs to be instilled is social awareness, which can be implemented through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of social awareness characters in grade VI students of SDN 1 Samba Katung, Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan through the material "The Beauty of Helping Each Other" which is taken from the values ​​in Surah Al-Maidah verses 2 and 3. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that PAI learning that teaches helping each other in goodness and avoiding sin and hostility can strengthen students' social awareness characters. In addition, the implementation of this material in schools has succeeded in encouraging students to help each other in various social activities, although there are still some students who have not fully applied the character. Thus, strengthening social awareness characters through PAI learning can create students who care more about others, appreciate differences, and contribute to a harmonious community life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of learning loss that occurs in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 2 and SMP Negeri 4 in Sampit City, Central Kalimantan, particularly in the aspects of learning the Qur’an, Hadith, and Fiqh, which are important foundations for students in Islamic life. The decline in academic performance in PAI subjects is influenced by several factors, including the lack of family attention in guiding children's religious education, economic limitations that hinder access to religious education guidance, and students' difficulties in reading and memorizing the Qur’an correctly. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, through interviews with teachers and school principals, as well as direct field observations. The results of the study show that the phenomenon of learning loss in PAI learning at both schools is closely related to internal and external factors that affect students' motivation and ability to follow the lessons. Efforts to address this issue include providing extra guidance, involving families in the religious education process, and optimizing learning at school using various appropriate methods. This study is expected to provide insights into the importance of cooperation between schools, families, and the community in improving the quality of religious education, particularly in overcoming learning loss.

Abstract

Early childhood religious education is very important in shaping children's religious character from an early age, because at this stage children are in a period of rapid cognitive and affective development, so it is important to instill values of faith from an early age. The objective of this service project is to introduce the names of the 25 Prophets and Messengers along with their miracles to the children of TPA Al-Firdaus Palangka Raya using flashcards, as well as to enhance the learning process through the use of innovative, effective, and age-appropriate educational media. The method used in this service project is the Service Learning (SL) method, which involves four stages: first, analysis/preparation; second, planning and program development; third, implementation; and finally, evaluation. The outcome of this community service initiative is that the children at the Al-Firdaus Palangka Raya TPA are now able to recognize and remember the names of the 25 Prophets and Messengers along with their miracles, through the symbolic images on the flashcards featuring the 25 Prophets and Messengers. This was demonstrated when the children at TPA Al-Firdaus were able to answer and guess the names of the Prophets and Messengers depicted in the flashcards simply by looking at the symbolic images provided accurately and correctly.

Abstract

Manajemen mutu merupakan bagian penting pada sebuah produk baik barang maupunjasa, pengorganisasian mutu pendidikan dalam rangka mewujudkan salah satu fungsi manajemenpendidikan itu sendiri. Setiap fungsi secara tidak terpisah memiliki peranan dalam menjagajaminan kualitas. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menjadi pilihan untuk menjabarkanstrategi manajemen mutu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Al Ghazali Modern SchoolPalangka Raya, yang didahului tahapan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi ditemukan hasil:manajemen mutu pada fungsi pengorganisasian dalam rangka memberi layanan terhadap siswa,tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan serta sarana di SMP Islam Terpadu Al Ghazali Modern SchoolPalangka Raya terpenuhi pada aspek; 1) tujuan pengorganisasian sebagai service motive,danprofit motive, 2) jenis layanan yang terkoordinir dalam satu komando, 3) pengelompokkanberdasarkan hubungan antar kegiatan, 4) anggota yang aktif terlibat dalam pengorganisasian, 5)memiliki rincian tugas berupa Job Diskriptions dan Standar Operasional Prosedural di tingkatdivisi, 6) wewenang yang terdelegasi secara baik, 7) rentang kendali secara kolektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a digital teaching module to improve student literacy. This research uses a type of study known as Research and Development (R&D), which aims to create a new product or improve an existing one. Specifically, this study follows the R&D methodology proposed by Thiagarajan (1974), which outlines the steps of research and development as a 4D model: Definition, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this study are six elementary school principals and six fourth-grade teachers in Palangka Raya City, East Kotawaringin Regency, and Kapuas Regency. To collect the necessary data, the researcher used observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The feasibility of digital teaching modules based on local wisdom is validated by subject matter experts and media (design) experts. According to the validation results from the validators, the material aspect received a rating of "Very Feasible" with a percentage of 87.6. The media aspect, based on validation by experts, received a rating of "Very Worthy" with a percentage of 80,4%. Based on the results of the trial, it shows more interest and attention to reading learning materials through their respective gadgets, so that the development of digital teaching modules based on local wisdom is able to increase student literacy in the SD/MI Mover School Program.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius di kalangan generasi muda, terutama di era globalisasi yang dipenuhi pengaruh negatif. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka hadir dan dapat secara efektif menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya dapat menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan pembina pramuka, melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan. Analisis data tematik dalam penelitian ini juga  dilakukan untuk melihat pola dan keterkaitannya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Pramuka berkontribusi signifikan dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai religius siswa, sehingga tercermin dalam peningkatan sikap toleransi dan empati. Aktivitas seperti baris berbaris, sholat berjamaah, dan pengabdian masyarakat memperkuat keterampilan sosial dan kepemimpinan, serta membangun ikatan antar siswa. Kegiatan pramuka terbukti efektif dalam membina karakter religius siswa, yang tidak hanya berdampak pada perkembangan pribadi mereka, tetapi juga pada lingkungan sosial. Penelitian lebih lanjut mengungkapkan  untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai religius dalam kurikulum formal guna mengoptimalkan pembinaan karakter religius.
