Abstract

The production of natural rubber increase sufficient good in indonesia, while the natural rubber to be a product with a high valuable price still less developed than other countries. Therefore,we have to eforts it to employing this natural rubber be a product with a high valuable price from the raw material (natural rubber) to be vulcanized natural rubber using vulcanization process. The purpose of this study is to obtain the best conditions of the vulcanization process in the manufacture of vulcanized natural rubber with fly ash/carbon black filler, which is the variation of temperature 140, 150 and 160 °C and preasure of 50,100,150 and 200 kgf/cm2. The results vulcanized natural rubber of will be tested, it’s mecanical properties and morphology. Based on average yield mecanical properties and morphology tested is obtained that the operating conditions vulcanization process is temperature 150 °C and a pressure of 200 kgf/cm2.     Keyword : Natural rubber, Vulcanization, Vulcanized Natural Rubber.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore about teachers’ assessment and the various activities in assessing students’ speaking skill as well as teachers’ reasons at senior high school. Through interview and qualitatively observation and analysis, the findings indicate that male and female teacher involved in speaking activities in the classroom toward assessing students’ speaking skill through different ways. They were discussion, reporting, picture describing, and role play. Practicality, usefulness, wash back and authenticity are another reasons behind the application of those speaking activities. In short, the various speaking assessment tasks would be useful in assessing students’ speaking skill.

Abstract

Efforts to manage waste are being undertaken at all levels, from households to large factories that produce waste daily. The imbalance between waste production and management has made waste a significant environmental issue. One of the most challenging types of waste to decompose naturally (non-biodegradable) is plastic waste, which constitutes the largest quantity compared to other types of waste. According to statistical data, the amount of non-biodegradable waste disposed of daily at final disposal sites in several cities in Indonesia is 6,598.23 tons per day. This research has both general and specific objectives. The general objective is to utilize plastic waste as a material for making paving blocks, while the specific objective is to analyze the compressive strength properties of paving blocks made from plastic waste. By exploring the potential of plastic waste in construction materials, this study aims to provide a sustainable solution to the plastic waste problem and contribute to environmental preservation. This study used 4 types of specimens where Specimen A consisted of 80% plastic waste and 20% glass powder. Specimen B consisted of 60% plastic waste and 40% glass powder, Specimen C consisted of 40% plastic waste and 60% glass powder, Specimen D consists of 20% plastic waste and 80% glass powder. The research results showed that Specimen B achieved the highest average compressive strength value of 10.9 Mpa, indicating significant potential in supporting material strength. On the other hand, Specimen D showed the lowest average compressive strength value with only 1.2 Mpa, indicating the need for further composition adjustments to increase the material's strength. This research provides valuable insight into developing recycled materials for construction and other industrial applications.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan menjadi isu penting dalam pembangunan nasional, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan kesehatan dan ekonomi global. Diversifikasi pangan lokal berbasis sumber daya alam seperti Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) menjadi salah satu strategi dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Desa Popodu di Kabupaten Bone Bolango memiliki potensi TOGA yang melimpah, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah TOGA menjadi minuman herbal imunostimulan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei potensi TOGA, sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kesehatan, pelatihan pengolahan minuman herbal, serta evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terkait manfaat TOGA dan keterampilan dalam pengolahan produk. Evaluasi kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta menyatakan materi mudah dipahami, metode penyampaian menarik, dan kegiatan memberikan dampak positif terhadap ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan keluarga. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya konsumsi pangan fungsional, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan produk minuman herbal rumahan.

Abstract

The location of Bonto Bahari district on the fault of Walanae implicates a potential earthquake disaster. Bonto Bahari District on the spatial plan of Bulukumba in the year of 2012-2032 is set as a Regency Special Economic Zones (SEZs) for Marine tourism. Justifying the stipulation of the rules, it should be integrated into geological risk in order for sustainable development of tourist activities in the Bonto Bahari District. The purpose of this study are: (1) analyzing the hazard of an earthquake in Bonto Bahari district; (2) analyzing the vulnerability of earthquakes in Bonto Bahari district; and (3) analyzing the risk of earthquakes in Bonto Bahari district. The methods used are quantitative-qualitative and spatial analysis. Research shows maps of the hazard levels of earthquakes, maps of earthquake vulnerabilities, and maps of earthquake risk levels. The research is expected to provide input to local governments on taking early preparedness measures in response to the threat of an earthquake disaster in the Bonto Bahari district.

Abstract

mplementasi Kurikulum Merdeka membawa perubahan signifikan pada struktur mata pelajaran di jenjang sekolah dasar, salah satunya adalah penggabungan mata pelajaran IPA dan IPS menjadi IPAS. Mata pelajaran ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang holistik, kontekstual, dan terhubung dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 1 Giri Tembesi, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapannya, serta mengeksplorasi solusi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas dan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dengan verifikasi menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 1 Giri Tembesi telah mengacu pada prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek, inkuiri, dan kontekstual. Namun demikian, beberapa tantangan masih ditemukan, seperti keterbatasan media pembelajaran, kurangnya pelatihan guru, serta kecenderungan penggunaan metode konvensional. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru melakukan upaya seperti kolaborasi antar rekan sejawat, pemanfaatan media sederhana, dan adaptasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya penguatan dukungan kebijakan sekolah, peningkatan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan, serta penyediaan sumber belajar yang relevan agar implementasi IPAS berjalan lebih optimal.

Abstract

This study explores the role of social media in digital marketing at AicoCreative, a creative agency based in Makassar. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and social media content analysis. The findings reveal that social media plays a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Despite challenges such as algorithm changes, AicoCreative has successfully navigated these obstacles through adaptive strategies and in-depth data analysis. The study highlights the importance of flexibility and continuous learning in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Furthermore, the research underscores the value of social media as a powerful tool in building and maintaining a strong online presence, which is essential for sustaining competitive advantage in the creative industry. The insights provided by this study are particularly valuable for other creative agencies aiming to maximize their use of social media in digital marketing efforts. By understanding the strategies employed by AicoCreative, these agencies can better adapt to the dynamic nature of social media and leverage its potential to drive business success.

Abstract

Discipline is a set of rules implemented to discipline students in schools. This study aims to demonstrate how school regulations play a role in shaping student discipline at Elementary School 15 Mataram. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was conducted through observations and interviews in the environment of SDN 15 Mataram. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis results indicate that although the school has implemented regulations that must be adhered to by students, such as discipline in dressing, punctuality, and participation in religious activities like Dhuha prayers, only a portion of the students comply with these rules effectively. There are still students who show a lack of discipline in following the school regulations. This study emphasizes the importance of consistent implementation of school regulations to enhance student discipline, as well as the need for support from all parties, including parents and teachers, in creating a well-ordered and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Advances in additive manufacturing (AM) technology have opened up opportunities for the rapid and precise production of complex components, including those used in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) structures. However, ABS material prints often exhibit variations in quality due to the influence of various interacting process parameters. This study aims to analyze the influence of four parameters: infill pattern, layer thickness, print speed, and chamber temperature on two important mechanical properties: ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and elongation. The Taguchi method with an experimental design using an orthogonal array L9(3⁴) was applied to minimize the number of trials without sacrificing important information. The tensile test data were analyzed using the signal-to-noise ratio (S/N ratio) and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the infill pattern was the most dominant parameter, contributing 80.78% to UTS and 73.16% to elongation. Chamber temperature has a significant effect on elongation (19.78%), as it enhances interlayer bonding through temperature control in the printing chamber. Layer thickness contributes moderately to UTS (10.01%), while print speed has the smallest effect on both responses. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting the appropriate combination of parameters to consistently improve ABS print quality and serve as a foundation for developing process standards based on experimental data.

Abstract

The weaknesses of labor unions, both from internal factors such as limited resources and weak leadership, and external factors such as government intervention and company pressure, significantly impact the welfare of their members and their families. This study employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach, including Law No. 21 of 2000 and Law No. 13 of 2003, as well as agency theory and stakeholder theory. The findings reveal that these weaknesses lead to decreased income, loss of social security, and limited access to welfare programs. Solutions include strengthening the organization's internal capacity, increasing member participation, and fostering collaboration with companies and the government
