Abstract

This research was purpose to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of developing the chicken slaughtering business in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City are. And to know the Strategy for the Development of Broiler Slaughtering Business in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis with the SWOT analysis technique. The results of this research show that the results of the evaluation of internal factors using the IFAS matrix, obtained a total score of 3,130 in the strength factor and 3,446 in the weakness factor, which means that the score obtained is above the average 2.5 This shows that the broiler slaughtering business in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City is able to optimize its strengths, namely good relations with labor, conducting market research, good product quality, affordable prices and meeting production capacity so that it can cover existing weaknesses. within the business unit. The results of the evaluation of the EFAS matrix above show that the total score on the opportunity factor is 3,335 and the threat factor is 3,491, which means that the score obtained is above the average of 2.5. This shows that the broiler slaughtering business in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City takes advantage of existing opportunities such as supportive economic conditions, market demand, healthy lifestyles, population development and technological developments for production so as to overcome threats within the business unit. From the results of the Cartesian diagram in research with the title of the development strategy of small and medium micro industry (Case Study of Chicken Slaughtering Industry) in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, the position is in the B quadrant which means Quadrant B shows the factors that are considered important, management has been successfully implemented as desired / hope and very satisfying so that it must be maintained.Keywords: Micro, Small and Medium Industry, Chicken Slaughtering

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of three-star hotels in Pekanbaru City through the SWOT method. The method used in this study is descriptive and SWOT analysis in order to find out the obstacles faced by threestar hotels and provide the right alternative strategy to be applied to the threestar hotel industry in Pekanbaru City. The population in this study is the entire three-star hotel industry. in Pekanbaru City as many as 27 business units. The sampling technique used the census technique, so the sample in the study was 27 business units. The results showed that the analytical methods used were EFAS matrix, IFAS matrix, and IE matrix. Based on the analysis of the external and internal environment, the three-star hotel industry in Pekanbaru City is in a growth position where the concentration strategy is vertical. This means that this strategy is the main strategy for companies that have a strong competitive market in a highly attractive industry, in this case the company must minimize costs and inefficient operations so it is necessary to apply a WO strategy. In implementing the WO strategy, the three-star hotel industry in Pekanbaru City needs to prioritize the implementation of the strategy of creating price variants in order to have attractiveness and create jobs that can filter skilled and qualified workers. Increase promotional activities as well as expand markets and improve product quality in order to attract consumers from various sectors.Keywords: Three Star Hotel Industry, SWOT Analysis,IE Matrix

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses supervisi dan menjelaskan kendala direktif, non-direktif dan kolaboratif di MTs. At-Tahririyah Pangpajung Modung Bangkalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs. At-Tahririyah Pangpajung Modung Bangkalan, informan penelitian ini adalah kepala Madrasah, staf guru sekolah dan beberapa informan lain yang dianggap berkompeten dan relevan untuk memberikan informasi tentang pelaksanaan supervisi direktif dan non-direktif di madrasah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terstruktur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tahapan 1) pengumpulan data, (2) kondensasi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di MTs. At-Tahririyah, supervisi direktif, non-direktif dan kolaboratif telah dilakukan dengan baik berdasarkan prototipe guru yang telah diklasifikasikan. Sedangkan secara umum kendala yang dialami selama supervisi masih kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang pentingnya supervisi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kedua, kurangnya ruang dan waktu khusus dalam pelaksanaan pengawasan sehingga pelaksanaannya tidak begitu optimal.

Abstract

Thinking skills already begun to be applied and developed to improvestudents ready to compete in the 21st Century. One of thinking skills needed to be developed are metacognitive skills. Empowerment metacognitive skills can be done by reflective learning. Reflective learning activities that could accommodate the concept, reflection, and the questionsare learning journals. The aims of this study is to 1) determine metacognitive skills through the application of learning journals, and 2) to analyze students needs through the reflective learning journal to empower metacognitive skills. The study of this experimental research is the one shot case study design. The study population was all students of Biology. Samples are 23 General Biology course students at odd semester of 2014/2015. Data was obtained by observation, analysis learning journal and rubric asessment of metacognitive skills. The data has been analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that the classical metacognitive skills score is 78,18.Learning journal is a tool that can be used to empower metacognitive skills.

Abstract

Based on interviews and observations, the metacognitive skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Lamboya are still low. This is because the thinking skills have not been empowered in school. Need effort to overcome this, one way that is implementation of learning model study of Group Investigation (GI). The purpose of applying the Group Investigation learning model (GI) to improve students' metacognitive skills. This research is a class action research (PTK) consisting of 4 stages of Planning, Action, Observation, Reflection which is implemented in two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class VII A SMP Negeri 4 Lamboya academic year 2016/2017 as many as 23 students. The results showed that the percentage of masakognitif skill resulted from (51.08) in cycle I to (73,52) in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is Group Investigation study model (GI) can improve metacognitive skill of class VII A student of SMP Negeri 4 Lamboya.

Abstract

Technology-based learning needs to be done immediately in order to carry out more interested in learning and fostering student motivation. Furthermore, learning should be done byeach student characteristics.One of which is multiple intelligences based learning. Through the application of multiple intelligence assisted technology based learning, it is expected that the learning objectives will be more easily achieved by students. Interactive module based on multiple intelligences that has been validated was the product of this research and developmental experiment. This research was limited to the Changes of Genetic Material taught at the Genetics Course at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Research and development model was carried out by 4D model from Thiagarajan. This research phase includes define, design, design, and disseminate stages. The research data is obtained from the module validation score, both from material experts, media experts, and practitioners (students). The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the validation of media experts, material experts and small-scale trials, it is known that the percentage results are above 85%, so the product is declared valid. Furthermore, it is necessary to test the classical scale to find out its effectiveness in learning.

Abstract

Sambal pecel merupakan salah satu produk makanan khas nusantara. Home industry Dapoer Wima termasuk salah satu produsen makanan khas tersebut yang berasal dari Kediri. Kebutuhan pasar yang menjanjikan, namun di home industry tersebut belum didukung oleh peralatan produksi yang memadai. Proses penggilingan sambel pecel dilakukan di luar area produksi sehingga tidak efisien serta tidak terjaminnya higienitas produk. Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mendesiminasikan mesin penggiling pada home industry Sambel Pecel Dapoer Wima sehingga lebih efektif dan higienis produknya. Metode pelaksanaan program meliputi pengumpulan data, pembuatan desain mesin, perhitungan perancangan mesin, manufaktur mesin, pengujian mesin, dan bimbingan teknis pengoperasian serta penyerahan mesin ke pengguna. Hasil program yaitu mesin penggiling sambel pecel berkapasitas 10 kg/jam dengan sepesifikasi penggerak berupa motor listrik AC 1 phasa berdaya 0,5 hp, menggunakan transmisi berjenis pulley berdiamater 7,62 cm dan 25,4 cm dan v-belt tipe A, penggiling menggunakan screw conveyor dengan kapasitas pemindah 0,0257 m3/menit, dan material rangka menggunakan besi siku.

Abstract

Scientific literacy needs to be developed to face the 21st century, but in Indonesia, students' scientific literacy is in the low category. The results of the preliminary study test for class Based on the facts and problems found, the research aims to improve students' scientific literacy and cognitive learning outcomes through the application of the PBL model assisted by scaffolding. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the stages of the plan, act observe, and reflection. This research was carried out for two cycles with material on the respiratory and excretory systems. The research was conducted from February to May 2023 in class XI MIPA 1 Malang Islamic High School with research subjects of 34 students. The instruments were five scientific literacy essay questions and ten multiple-choice test questions on cognitive process dimensions. The N-gain value calculates increased scientific literacy and cognitive learning outcomes. This research shows that students' scientific literacy increased from 70.4 to 81.3, so the N-gain value for scientific literacy was 0.37. Students' cognitive learning outcomes rose from 78.8 to 86.4, so the N-gain cognitive learning outcomes were 0.36. Mastery of high scientific and cognitive literacy makes students careful in making decisions with scientific considerations.Abstrak. Literasi sains perlu dikembangkan guna menghadapi abad ke-21, namun di Indonesia literasi sains siswa dalam kategori rendah. Hasil tes studi pendahuluan kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Islam Malang rata-rata nilai literasi sains sebesar 48.5 dan rata-rata nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif hanya 15.0. Berdasarkan fakta dan masalah yang ditemukan maka tujuan dari penelitian adalah meningkatkan literasi sains dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa melalui penerapan model PBL berbantuan scaffolding. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan plan, act and observe, dan reflection. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak II siklus dengan materi sistem respirasi dan ekskresi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Mei 2023 pada kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Islam Malang dengan subyek penelitian 34 siswa. Instrumen yang dipakai adalah 5 soal essay literasi sains dan 10 soal tes pilihan ganda dimensi proses kognitif. Peningkatan literasi sains dan hasil belajar kognitif dihitung dengan nilai N-gain. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa literasi sains siswa meningkat dari 70.4 menjadi 81.3, sehingga nilai N-gain literasi sains sebesar 0.37. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa meningkat dari 78.8 menjadi 86.4, sehingga hasil N-gain hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 0.36. Penguasaan literasi sains dan kognitif tinggi membuat siswa cermat dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan pertimbangan sains.

Abstract

Applying HOTS and the need for effective and efficient evaluation facilities for teachers is urgent for Malang schools. This study aimed to determine the results of HOTS training and online-based evaluation in Malang. This community service aims to find out the results of HOTS training and online-based evaluation for teachers in Malang. The training target is 40 high school Biology Teachers in Malang. The activity consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the activity stage, and the evaluation stage. HOTS training and online-based evaluation positively impacted high school teachers in Malang. The average score of participants in Padlet development was 86.78%, 100% were able to make and apply Kahoot! in class, and 90.45% of participants had prepared questions according to the HOTS criteria and were able to identify their cognitive level.

Abstract

Technological developments in various fields are the key to progress in the digital era. The utilization of technology-based learning media in education makes learning more interactive and supports independent learning. This study aims to develop and test the practicality and effectiveness of storyline-based nervous system e-comics media to support students' independent learning. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Lee & Owen model, consisting of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted with the subjects in this study, class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Malang students, totalling 60 people. A pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest was used to test the effectiveness of the media. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The media validation results obtained 100%, material validation 100%, and student response results 98.7% in the class trial. The effectiveness test used a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest of both classes with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05, there is a significant difference between the control and experimental classes. Storyline-based nerve e-comic media can facilitate independent learning more interestingly and interactively.
