Abstract

Keeping animals, especially cats, has been demonstrated by the Prophet. This certainly saves goodness in it. If you see the relationship between humans and animals that are intertwined in a longer period of time will cause attachment in it or we call it a pet attachment. So the purpose of this study will look at how the role of pet attachments on the happiness of pet owners. This research is a field research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of selecting research subjects using purposive sampling technique, the number of samples as many as 22 people and after screening tests using a stickiness scale that has been validated and reliable (0.807), obtained 5 people included in the category. Furthermore, 2 subjects who were willing to take part in the research. Data collection used was semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results showed a description of pet attachments in pet owners including physical contact, selection criteria, reactions to separation and loss, effects on physical and psychological health. The description of the happiness of pet owners can be seen in the aspects of happiness, which consists of aspects of positive emotion, engagement, positive relationships, meaning and accomplishment. All aspects are fulfilled from the attachment to the pet (pet attachment), causing happiness to the pet owner.

Abstract

Autism is a developmental delay in children which is characterized by disorders in social aspects, communication. behavior and language. Treatment that will be given to children with autism which is therapy, like speech therapy, behavior, occupation and sensory integration. Based on preliminary studies and earlier research, found things that can affect both those that support and inhibit the implement of therapy. Therefore This study aims to decide what psychological factors affect the process therapy at the Center for Disability and Inclusion Education in South Kalimantan Province. This study uses a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study amounted to 6 therapists who have worked for 5 years at PLDPI. The results showed that therapeutic services at PLDPI, there are factors that influence the process and success of therapy. Internal factors that support the therapeutic process in PLDPI is the wishes of the child, age of child, level of autism disorders, IQ child, child's mood, affection therapist, therapist's patience and therapist's sincerity, ritual therapist (praying, prayer dhuha, reading istigfar and basmalah), intention of the therapist, understanding of children, enthusiasm and attendance consistency therapist, professional attitude. While external factors that support is self-awareness of people old in adopting a diet, parental support, the role of parents at home, therapist support, number adequate therapist, therapist collaboration with parents, adequate facilities and infrastructure and a therapeutic schedule that meets the target and therapy program that suits the child's needs. The internal factors that inhibit the child's condition such as hyperactivity, hypoactive, tantrum, sick, minimal eye contact, speech difficulties and disobedience and therapists who cannot controlling emotions. While the external factor is parents' want.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to decide whether there are differences in assertive behavior between extrovert and introvert personality among student organizers of State Islamic University Antasari Banjarmasin. The type of research used is a comparative approach. The sampling method used improbability sampling. The population in this study were students who were members of the Student Executive Board at the Faculty level at State Islamic University Antasari Banjarmasin with a total population of 152 people while the sample used was 60 people. The measuring instrument used to measure assertive behavior constructed by the researcher from the aspects of assertive behavior according to Alberti and Emmons, while personality was also constructed by the researcher by identifying the general characteristics of each of the extrovert and introvert personality types. The results obtained from data analysis show that the sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in assertive behavior among student organizers who have an extrovert personality type and an introvert personality type.

Abstract

Academic stress is defined as an individual's inability to deal with situations of pressure and demands that exist on him. When these pressures and demands are not resolved, it will result in the individual's psychological, cognitive and behavioral conditions in their academic activities. So that in overcoming this we need a coping style that can handle the pressure and demands that occur. In the definition of coping style itself is defined as a way for individuals to deal with problems in a way they like in dealing with stressful situations that occur to them. In the formation of this coping style, the individual cannot be separated from the behavioral, cognitive and motivational aspects. Therefore, the researcher wants to conduct research to find out and describe the level of academic stress that arises from the pressure on the demands that exist in the preparation of the thesis, the influence of coping styles, the tendency of coping styles, and factors that affect student coping styles in the preparation of thesis.This study also uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class 2016 at the State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin, amounting to 1491 respondents with the determination of the sample of 229 respondents using the purposive sampling method with reference to the Isaac and Michael tables. Based on this research, the results obtained: 1) There is a level of student academic stress in the preparation of a final project of 77.56% in the medium level academic stress category. 2) There is a significant influence between coping style and student academic stress in the preparation of thesis final project at the State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05) giving an effective contribution of 32.9%. 3) There is a tendency of cognitive style coping in the preparation of the final thesis carried out by students of the State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin by giving a contribution of 47.39%. 4) There are factors that influence the coping style in the preparation of the final project, such as internal and external factors.

Abstract

The tendency to improve themselves and the mistakes that have been made are indicators of the guilty feeling, feelings of guilt can arise in anyone, even a recidivist. This study aims to see the dynamics of feelings of guilt in recidivist prisoners, and describe the types and factors that influence it. This research is a case study cualitative research, conducted at the Correctional Institution Class II A Banjarmasin with the subject of 2 recidivists. The data test method used was a screening test with a guilt and shame proneness scale (GASP), interviews and observations. The result this study indicate that those who assesss regret are different from before, there is a perception of disappointment and burdens to the closest people, motivated to become a better person. Feeling guilty about breaking the legal guilt. Basides that he realizes and understands the lack of religious knowledge that violates the stipulated provisions and feels guilty. The factors underlying the guilt feeling of the two subjects are internal and external factors

Abstract

Having a child with perfect physical and psychological condition is everyone's dream. However, if the diagnosis states that the child has autism, it is not  certainly easy for parents to accept. This aims of  research are determining the  sincerity of parents who have children with autism and what the  factors which  influence it. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a muslim couple, husband and wife,  which have two autism children as subjects. The results showed that  process towards sincerity between  two subjects were different. When The  SP subject knows the diagnosis results, he can control his emotions that what happened with them  is God's provision. so that no matter what the conditions are, he must accept it. Meanwhile, SR subject took two weeks to convince herself about her children's conditions were still  gifts from God and she must have to take care. The factors which influences of  parents' sincerity are religious knowledges, patience, gratitude, religious understanding and resignation.

Abstract

Perilaku seksual adalah sikap yang didasari oleh hawa nafsu seksual dengan heteroseksual atau homoseksual. Sedangkan perialaku seksual pranikah adalah suatu perilaku yang dimotivasi oleh dorongan seksual yang dilakukan tanpa ikatan pernikahan suami istri. Setiap remaja memiliki tingkat perilaku seksual nya masing-masing yang membuat mereka bebas untuk melakukan nya tanpa rasa takut atau cemas kepada Allah SWT, ataupun merasa takut untuk melakukan perilaku tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai Pengaruh Khauf  Terhadap Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Pada Mahasiswa Yang Berpacaran Di Universitas “X”.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif Asosiatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pada Universitas “X” dengan sampel 98 mahasiswa, kemudian pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik Purpossive Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil: 1) Hasil data khauf  pada mahasiswa yang berpacaran di Universitas “X”, diketahui pada kategori tinggi sebesar 12 orang, kategori sedang 74 orang dan pada kategori rendah 12 orang. Dapat dikatakan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa yang berpacaran di Universitas “X” memiliki khauf  dikategori sedang. 2) Hasil data perilaku seksual pranikah pada mahasiswa yang berpacaran di Universitas “X”, diketahui pada kategori tinggi sebesar 13 orang, kategori sedang 74 orang dan pada kategori rendah 11 orang. Dapat dikatakan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa yang berpacaran di Universitas “X” memiliki perilaku seksual pranikah dikategori sedang. 3) hasil uji hipotesis maka didapatkan hasil yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara khauf  terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah pada penelitian ini, sebesar  15,2%. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari analisis data dengan program software SPSS 23.0 for windows nilai signifikansi atau  p value adalah 0,000. Dikatakan signifikansi apabila p < 0,05. Maka hasil yang ditemukan adalah signifikan, jadi hipotesis (Ha) bahwa Ada pengaruh khauf  terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah pada mahasiswa yang berpacaran di Universitas “X” diterima, artinya variabel khauf  berpengaruh terhadap variabel perilaku seksual pranikah sebesar 15,2%.

Abstract

Pressure during learning and all conflicts can hurt the psychology of students themselves, one of which is stress. The difficulties of adolescents and students in dealing with stress need to be balanced with practical and inexpensive coping strategies because if stress is left alone, it can threaten the individual's health. Preliminary studies show that acoustic music can be a practical and inexpensive solution to overcome stress experienced by students as a form of emotion-centered coping because the character of the music is slow soft and can focus listeners on channeling expressions through lyrics that represent individual emotions and feelings. This study aims to determine the description of stress in students who like acoustic music and to find out how the role of acoustic music on student stress. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with ten subjects with specific criteria. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation, the perceived stress scale (PSS-10), and the documentation method. The results of this study indicate that the ten subjects have different stressors, symptoms, and stress levels; each subject also uses acoustic music as emotional coping that helps the emergence of positive reactions such as feeling calmer, more focused, and channeled—subject's feelings.

Abstract

Gratitude is a form of one's acknowledgment of the existence of parties other than oneself who participate in the favors received, therefore gratitude can be a trait that is embedded in a person to always say thank you in response to what he has received. Based on the preliminary study conducted, it was found that gratitude is an important thing and needs to be present in the individual, especially for overseas students. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the image of gratitude for overseas students studying abroad and the factors that influence it. This research is a qualitative research with the type of phenomenology with the number of subjects as many as four people with the criteria that students from Indonesia who study in Muslim-majority countries and non-Muslim-majority countries, are at the strata one level or equivalent, are Muslim, unmarried, aged between 20 up to 25 years and willing to be a research subject. The data collection method used is semi-structured interviews and the provision of a supporting scale to the subject. The results of this study indicate that the picture of gratitude for overseas students who study abroad is based on seven aspects, namely intensity, frequency, span, density, knowledge, spiritual condition and deeds. Then for the factors that influence the gratitude of Muslim overseas students studying abroad are affective and welfare traits, prosocial traits, spiritual traits, have a broad view of life, have a positive perception of life, have good intentions towards something, a tendency to behave. Positive attitude is based on respect and good will and has a warm appreciation for others.
