Abstract

The issue of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among academics, especially lecturers, plays a vital role in assessing the quality and performance of higher education institutions. This study explores how Islamic work ethics, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment contribute to the development of OCB among lecturers. A total of 365 lecturers from 14 private universities were selected using proportional random sampling. The research applied Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS software to analyze the data. The results demonstrate that Islamic work ethics have a significant and positive effect on both OCB and organizational commitment. However, the influence of Islamic work ethics on job satisfaction, while positive, is statistically insignificant. Moreover, job satisfaction is found to have a strong and significant impact on OCB, but its relationship with organizational commitment remains insignificant. These findings reveal a nuanced interaction between ethical values, personal satisfaction, and voluntary behavior within the academic work environment. Given these insights, the study highlights the importance of fostering Islamic work ethics and job satisfaction to improve OCB among lecturers. Strengthening these elements may not only elevate individual performance but also enhance organizational commitment over time. As a practical implication, private university management should prioritize ethical development programs and support systems that improve job satisfaction. Such initiatives are expected to contribute to a more engaged, committed, and ethically grounded academic workforce, ultimately advancing institutional quality and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance and their impact on employee retention in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and OCB are important variables in human resource management that can influence individual and organizational performance as a whole. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive and explanatory approaches. Data was collected through a survey involving 300 employees from several manufacturing companies in Indonesia who were selected using purposive sampling. The research results show that the variables of job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and OCB influence employee performance, and employee performance influences employee retention, namely good performance will have an impact on reducing employee retention levels.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of entrepreneurial leadership in improving team performance and business growth. The background to the problem shows that many companies face challenges in achieving optimal team performance and sustainable growth. Although various leadership models have been implemented, there is a gap in the literature exploring the specific strategies used by entrepreneurial leaders to overcome these challenges. The observed phenomenon shows that leaders with an entrepreneurial orientation tend to be more adaptive and innovative in facing market changes. The importance of this research lies in its in-depth qualitative approach to understanding the dynamics of entrepreneurial leadership. The method used involves in-depth interviews with business leaders who have proven success in improving team performance and driving business growth. The data collected was analyzed using a thematic approach to identify the main strategies implemented by these leaders. The research results show that entrepreneurial leaders use various strategies such as team empowerment, measured risk taking, and continuous innovation to improve team performance. In addition, they also emphasized the importance of a clear vision and effective communication to encourage team spirit and collaboration. Discussion of the results shows that these strategies not only improved team performance but also contributed to significant business growth. Thus, entrepreneurial leadership plays an important role in overcoming the challenges of team performance and business growth. This study provides valuable insights for business leaders and researchers into how entrepreneurial leadership strategies can be implemented effectively to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the rising phenomenon of consumptive behavior among adolescents, particularly high school students, which is influenced by modern lifestyles and a lack of financial management skills. The objectives of this study are: (i) to determine the level of pocket money management, individual modernity, and consumptive behavior among students, and (ii) to analyze the influence of pocket money management and individual modernity on students’ consumptive behavior both partially and simultaneously. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The subjects of the study were 10th-grade students at SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung, with a total sample of 78 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The results revealed that: (i) students' pocket money management was at a moderate level, individual modernity was categorized as high, and consumptive behavior was also at a high level; (ii) there is a negative and significant influence between pocket money management and consumptive behavior, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; (iii) there is a positive and significant influence between individual modernity and consumptive behavior, with a significance value of 0.032 < 0.05; and (iv) there is a significant simultaneous influence of pocket money management and individual modernity on students’ consumptive behavior. This study recommends enhancing financial literacy education and fostering wise consumption attitudes among students to help them manage their finances rationally and avoid falling into consumptive lifestyle traps.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V SDN Manggahang 02. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran IPAS, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui penerapan model PBL berbantuan aplikasi quizizz dibandingkan dengan model direct instructional, serta besarnya pengaruh model PBL terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN Manggahang 02 dengan sampel dua kelas, yaitu VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, hipotesis, N-gain, dan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL pada pembelajaran IPAS berjalan lancar dan meningkatkan aktivitas guru serta peserta didik di setiap pertemuan. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest masing-masing 89,24 dan 79,32. Uji effect size menunjukkan nilai sebesar 3,22 yang termasuk kategori sangat besar, sehingga model problem based learning berbantuan quizizz terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Abstract This research was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Manggahang 02. The study aimed to examine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the IPAS subject, the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills using PBL assisted by the quizizz application compared to the direct instructional model, and the extent of PBL effect on enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of fifth-grade students at SDN Manggahang 02, with two classes selected as samples: class VA as the experimental group and class VB as the control group. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, hypothesis, N-gain, and effect size tests. The results showed that the implementation of PBL in IPAS learning ran smoothly and increased both teacher and student activities in each session. There was a difference in students’ critical thinking improvement between the experimental and control classes, with posttest averages of 89.24 and 79.32, respectively. The effect size value of 3.22 indicated a very large effect, proving that the problem based learning model assisted by quizizz significantly enhances students’ critical thinking skills. Abstract

Keberadaan Lembaga Keuangan Syariah (LKS) belum tentu memiliki peranan aktif karena kurangnya sosialisasi dari pihak akademisi ataupun praktisi Lembaga terkait. Belum lagi wawasan yang sangat minim terkait ekonomi syariah di masyarakat mempengaruhi pola pikir bahwa sistem ekonomi syariah dan konvensional sama saja. Termasuk kasus dalam penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan perhatian penulis terhadap masayarakat desa Pangulah Selatan, meski terdapat banyak LKS di wilayah setempat, namun pengetahuan masyarakat sekitar terkait ekonomi syariah masih sangat minim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep dasar ekonomi syariah, membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar secara syariah serta menghindarkan masyarakat dari jerat utang riba (termasuk lintah darat). Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Subjek penelitiannya masyarakat Desa Pangulah Selatan, Kecamatan Kotabaru Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minimnya sosialisasi ekonomi syariah kepada masyarakat sekitar, masih cukup banyak masyarakat yang bertransaksi dengan sistem riba bahkan terjerat utang lintah darat. Selain itu, penulis berupaya melakukan penawaran sosialisasi tentang ekonomi syariah dan menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak praktisi juga akademisi di sekitar desa Pangulah Selatan dengan skema akad Musyarakah di bidang usaha Pertanian, sesuai dengan mata pencaharian mayoritas penduduk desa setempat. Kata Kunci: analisis, pemahaman, masyarakat, sosialisasi, ekonomi syariah.

Abstract

Providing professional public services is a joint responsibility between the government and the community, because getting satisfactory services is a community right that must be fulfilled by the government. This research aims to find out how employee competence is described by analyzing the dimensions of knowledge, skills, values, self-concept, personal characteristics and employee motives. This research was conducted using a sample of 50 permanent employees of the Company for approximately 5 months of work. This research uses descriptive analysis of each dimension and statement item submitted, the data collected has met the research data criteria with the validity of the instruments used having met the statistical characteristics of the research. The results of this research show that quality human resources can be seen from the competencies possessed by these human resources. Competence is closely related to the attitudes and behavior that individuals have and display in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in daily life or in carrying out their duties in the organization.

Abstract

A good and strong culture will encourage employees and leaders to carry out activities in accordance with the organization's strategy or in other words a conducive and strong culture will encourage the organization to achieve its goals. This research uses descriptive analysis by looking at each dimension of the organizational culture variable. The analysis is carried out on each indicator item and concluded based on each dimension. Data collection involved various employees who were members of the FKIP Unpas alumni association who worked in service companies. The research results provide an overall picture of organizational culture. with the average value of the organizational culture variable consisting of the dimensions of involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission interpreted in the Strong criteria. Of these dimensions, the Consistency dimension provides the strongest contribution, while the Involvement dimension provides the weakest contribution. Thus, an organization that has a system of meaning that is shared by its members, has basic assumptions that explain the goals of the organization, it can be said that the organization has an organizational culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Razz Food Pelaku UMKM Aneka Bumbu Ayam di Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, korelasi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 45,7%, uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (8,888 > 1,986). Promosi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 39,2%, uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (7,790 > 1,986). Harga dan promosi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan persamaan regresi Y = 7,323 + 0,451X1 + 0,367X2. Kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 57,7%, uji hipotesis diperoleh F hitung > F tabel atau (63,319 > 2,700).

Abstract

This research is motivated by changes in organizational culture, high work pressure, shifts in individual values, and attention to the workplace which are common causes of decreased affective commitment. By paying attention to these factors and implementing appropriate steps, organizations can increase employee affective commitment. This study uses a quantitative perspective with the factorial method for problem solving, taking into account the interaction of each factor in the variables used. Research participants used FKIP Pasundan University graduates who worked for at least two years unless they were self-employed. The results showed that affective commitment can occur due to the interaction between workplace mindfulness and individual factors, this reflects the level of satisfaction, loyalty, and emotional attachment that employees feel towards their organization. Circumstances where employees are satisfied with their work and the organization provides sufficient attention will create stronger emotional bonds and higher commitment to the organization.
