Abstract

Technological transformation and innovation are strategically important in increasing food security, particularly through integrating digital marketing approaches in the global agribusiness system. As the digital era develops, agricultural marketing strategies focus on product distribution and include value creation, information technology adaptation, and digital consumer engagement. This study aims to systematically review the global literature on technology-based agricultural strategies that support food security. This article uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify key trends, dominant theories, and research gaps in integrating marketing strategies and technological innovation in digital agriculture. The study results show that the relationship between technological transformation, marketing innovation, and food security is still not widely discussed in a single conceptual framework. Therefore, this study offers a theoretical contribution in the form of strengthening the perspective of digital agromarketing that supports the food system's resilience through technology optimization. The practical implications are directing stakeholders in the public and private sectors to formulate data-driven and collaborative marketing strategies to address food security challenges sustainably in the digital age.

Abstract

While responsiveness is widely recognized as a component of service quality in healthcare, prior studies have largely treated it as a supporting operational variable rather than a core strategic asset. Existing literature often situates responsiveness within frontline interactions, neglecting its broader role in driving institutional differentiation, marketing effectiveness, and business growth particularly in emerging market contexts. This research addresses that gap by repositioning responsiveness as a strategic organizational capability that can be cultivated, measured, and leveraged. Drawing on the Resource-Based View and Dynamic Capabilities Theory, this study proposes a novel framework that situates responsiveness as both an intangible resource and a dynamic competency with high marketing value. Using empirical data from 160 inpatients at a newly accredited Islamic hospital in Indonesia, the study utilizes a SERVQUAL-based instrument and structural equation modeling to assess the influence of responsiveness on inpatient satisfaction. Findings reveal that responsiveness, defined through dimensions such as speed, staff presence, and clarity of communication, has the strongest positive effect on patient satisfaction and intention to return. This study contributes new insights by linking responsiveness to business strategy, branding, and market performance offering a theoretical and practical advancement over existing models. It further contextualizes responsiveness within Islamic healthcare settings, where moral and cultural expectations intensify its strategic relevance. The findings have implications for hospital leaders aiming to embed responsiveness into institutional systems to achieve sustained competitive advantage in resource-constrained, highly competitive environments.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices namely Green Recruitment and Green Rewards on Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB), with Environmental Training as a mediating variable, within the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity (AMO) framework. Using a cross-sectional survey of 100 employees from conservation organizations in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, and analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the results demonstrate that both Green Recruitment and Green Rewards significantly enhance Environmental Training, which in turn strongly predicts PEB. Furthermore, Environmental Training partially mediates the relationships between GHRM practices and PEB, emphasizing its central role in operationalizing environmental values into workplace behaviors. The study contributes to the literature by validating the AMO model in a non-corporate, conservation-focused context in the Global South and offers practical insights for sustainability-oriented HR strategies.

Abstract

This study delves into the critical relationship between technostress, digital competence, and employee performance at PT Air Minum Bandarmasih (Perseroda), with job satisfaction as a key mediating variable. The primary objective is to address the gap in existing research by examining how these technological factors influence employee outcomes within the specific context of a state-owned water utility company. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 146 staff-level employees, the study employs Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling and SEM-PLS analysis to build upon previous studies by providing a nuanced understanding of these dynamics. The findings offer a significant novelty by confirming the negative and significant impact of technostress on both job satisfaction and performance, while simultaneously highlighting the positive and significant effect of digital competence. Crucially, the research establishes the vital role of job satisfaction as a mediator, demonstrating that managing technological demands and enhancing digital skills are not just about efficiency but are foundational to fostering employee well-being and, consequently, improving overall performance in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the tax compliance level of MSME taxpayers registered at the Sampit Primary Tax Office (KPP Pratama) during the 2022–2024 period. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method using documentation and interviews to collect primary and secondary data. The findings show that the average compliance rate among MSME taxpayers remains low, at only 20.68%. The primary factors behind this low compliance include limited tax knowledge, lack of awareness, and suboptimal outreach efforts by tax authorities. The implementation of Government Regulation No. 23 of 2018, which lowered the final tax rate, had a positive impact but was not sufficient to significantly boost compliance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Leader–Member Exchange (LMX) and Team–Member Exchange (TMX) on work engagement with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 182 employees of a regional water supply company in Banjarmasin and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The analysis demonstrates that both LMX and TMX have significant positive effects on employees’ job satisfaction and work engagement. Furthermore, job satisfaction serves as a bridge linking social exchange quality (LMX and TMX) and work engagement. Collectively, these insights highlight the importance of supportive and trusting relationships in enhancing employees’ satisfaction and engagement within their organizations.

Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction plays an important role in maintaining the quality of learning in schools. This study aims to analyze the effect of career development and work environment on teacher job satisfaction, with work motivation as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on 53 subject teachers at a public high school in Banjarmasin using a quantitative approach through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that career development and work environment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and job satisfaction. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and mediates the relationship between career development and job satisfaction, as well as between work environment and job satisfaction. These findings confirm that efforts to strengthen career development programs and create a conducive work environment not only increase job satisfaction directly but also through increased teacher work motivation.
