Abstract

AbstrakArtikel  bertujuan memberikan pemahaman bukti validitas empirik melalui data Statistika dengan uji deskriptif, hubungan dan perbedaan. Instrumen yang digunakan Skala Sikap terhadap pelajaran Sosiologi dari teori Charles Osgood. Subjek penelitian adalah Siswa SMA dan mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran – Universitas Jambi dengan N=455. Pada uji deskriptif, skala sikap terhadap Sosiologi memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi dari pelajaran Sosial Humaniora yang lain. Pada uji korelasi, skala sikap terhadap Sosiologi memiliki korelasi positif sedang dengan Geograpi, Sejarah dan Ekonomi. Ia menghasilkan korelasi positif sangat rendah dengan Minat Psikis-Tes Minat Indonesia dan korelasi negatif sangat rendah dengan Tes Potensi Akademik. Ada perbedaan sikap terhadap Sosiologi berdasarkan peminatan SMA, program studi dan kepribadian serta tidak ada perbedaan berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Untuk keperluan diagnosis, skala dapat didukung oleh validitas yang baik. Untuk keperluan prognosis, skala perlu diuji dengan variabel prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci : Validitas, Korelasi, Uji Beda, Signifikansi, Kelompok AbstractThe article aims to provide an understanding of the empirical validity of evidence through Statistics data with test of descriptive, relationships and differences. The instrument was used the Scale of Attitudes towards Sociology from Charles Osgood's theory. Research subjects were high school students and students of the Faculty of Medicine - Jambi University with N = 455. Sociology had the highest score than other social science scales. There was a moderate positive correlation with Geography, History and Economics scale. There was a higly positive correlation with Psyche Interest and  a highly negative with Academic Cognitive Test. There was a difference score attitude toward Sociology based on high school majoring, university program, personality and no correlation with gender. For the diagnosis purpose, it contained good validity evidence. We need criterion related validity for prognosis purposes firstly with academic achievement. Keywords: Validity, Correlation, Different Test, Significance, Group

Abstract

Literacy of information is mandatory to student, teacher and librarian. There are some isues of literacy in Indonesia, such as the gap of information among regions, hoax, and unreliable source of information. Besides, the shortage of facility in library, teacher and librarian with competency to support literacy of information for student. Therefore, this research develops literation module of information in state madrasah aliyah, and senior high school. The approach of research Using research and development by conducting re-difinition, design and development. Research is made by six steps module, namely to determine isues and purpose, information acsess strategy, management of information, information usage, create product, evaluation on literacy skills. Module was validated by experts, they are the lecturers of library science, and library practitioners. Analisys using Aiken V, the results of content analysis shows that each activity between 0,66 to 1, it shows validated module with high and highest grade.

Abstract

Abstract: Strengthening family functions for positive parenting is important to be realized in the community. The optimal functioning of the family benefits problem solving, communication, parent and child involvement, parenting and education, as well as rules and protection of children. Therefore, it takes socialization fromexperts to explain it to the public. The stages of psychoeducational activities consist of socialization planning, socialization of strengthening family functions, and loma educational games. This activity runs in accordance with the goals and planning that has been carried out. Keywords: Family Function, Positive parenting, Danau Kedap.   Abstrak: Penguatan fungsi keluarga untuk pengasuhan positif penting untuk bisa direalisasikan di tengah masyarakat. Berfungsinya keluarga secara optimal memberi manfaat bagi pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, keterlibatan orang tua dan anak, pola asuh dan Pendidikan, serta aturan dan perlindungan terhadap anak. Olehkarena itu, dibutuhkan sosialisasi dari para ahli untuk menjelaskannya kepada masyarakat. Tahapan kegiatan psikoedukasi terdiri dari perencanaan sosialisasi, sosialisasi penguatan fungsi keluarga, dan loma permainan edukasi. Kegiatan ini berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan dan perencanaan yang telah dilakukan.   Kata kunci: Fungsi Keluarga, Pengasuhan positif, Danau Kedap.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction This Research have an objective for the exploration in the meaning of gratitude in Nuak Ketan tradition at Jambi Community. Method Research method uses the approaches of Indigneous Psychology. Conducted by open endeed quoetionare and deep interview. Data analytic was held by categorization, axial coding, percentage, and description. Research respondent was calculated in number 112, from local people of JambiResult The result of research showed the meaning of gratitude in Nuak Ketan Tradition such as pray together, charity event, Islamic value implementation, preserve tradion, expressing goodness and campation.Keywords : Nuak Ketan, Gratitude, Selamatan ABSTRAKPendahuluan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna kebersyukuran dalam tradisi Nuak Ketan pada masyarakat Jambi. Metode Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Indigenous Psychology, dilakukan dengan metode survei terbuka dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis dilakukan dengan kategorisasi, axial coding, persentase, dan deskripsi. Responden penelitian sebanyak 112, yang merupakan warga Jambi. Hasil Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna kebersyukuran dalam tradisi Nuak Ketan berupa berdoa bersama, sedekah, Selamatan, mengamalkan nilai islam, melestarikan tradisi, mengungkapkan kebaikan dan kasih sayang. Abstract

Purpose Research. The research objective was to identify the literacy skills of Merangin 53 Remote Junior High School students. Research Method. This study used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis Data. The Spradley model was used in the analysis. The analysis steps consisted of determining participants, interviewing, making an ethnographic record, asking descriptive questions, analyzing the interviews, making a domain analysis, asking structural questions, making a taxonomic analysis, asking contrast questions, discovering cultural themes, and writing an ethnography Results. Literacy topics of Merangin 53 Junior High School students encompassed access to information, lack of literacy skills, literacy learning methods that rely on the teacher, guidance and mentoring, and literacy for effective school activity. Conclusions. Some topics collected from literacy skills included the influence of culture and the situation in the remote school. Some influences on literacy skills encompassed difficult access to roads, internet connections, transportation, and students' socioeconomic conditions. Keywords: Information literacy, remote school, Merangin

Abstract

Background The development of telepsychology in Indonesia is inseparable from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. One of its manifestations is online-based psychological interventions. With numerous growing applications in Indonesia, most of these services only provide counseling via chat with a psychologist. Indeed, the forms of online-based psychological interventions are not limited to chat. Further identifications are required to see if these online-based psychological interventions appeal to the community. This study aims to depict the knowledge and intention of the community to use online psychological interventions and the correlation between them. Method This study was quantitative research with survey method. The number of involved respondents was 127 male and female respondents aged 17-40. Result Research results show that 39.37% of respondents fell into the moderate category of knowledge, 22.04% fell into the low category, and 26.77% fell into the high category. About 49.61% of respondents indicated moderate intention, and 22.83% indicated a reasonably high intention to use online psychological interventions should they face mental health issues. Online interventions perceived as appealing for the community should they experience mental health issues were web-based intervention, psychologist-guided online therapies, application-based online interventions, and chat counseling. Discussion Public knowledge of online psychological intervention is quite adequate. However, there are still a number of issues that the community doesn't understand, such as intervention design and understanding regarding the effectiveness of online psychological intervention. Nonetheless, people's intention to use psychological intervention is increasing in line with the challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, which required people to use digital technology in their daily lives. Furthermore, efforts are needed to provide public understanding regarding the use of online psychological intervention. Conclusion The community has sufficient knowledge and interest in online psychology services. There is a positive relationship between knowledge and intention to use online psychological interventions. Education is needed to increase public understanding regarding online interventions. Abstract

Abstrak: Siswa tunantera memiliki keterbatasan dalam melihat, mereka sering dianggap sebagai orang yang tidak berdaya, lemah, dan sering mendapat perlakuan deskriminatif. Beberapa masalah yang dialami oleh siswa tunanetra sendiri yaitu sering merasa tidak punya harapan dalam baca dan tulis, menolak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, dan memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengembangkan potensi dan kualitas akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi informasi pada siswa tunanetra. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Analisis data menggunakan Interpretative phenomenology Analysis. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian berjumlah 4 siswa tunanetra yang sekolah di SLB Prof. Sri Soedewi Masjchun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi informasi siswa tunanetra di SLB Prof. Sri Soedewi Jambi diantaranya yaitu;  pembelajaran dengan audio, mencatat, memberi tugas, belajar per kalimat secara detail. Memiliki kemampuan tulis dan baca, berhitung, serta  mengakses informasi dengan internet. Memanfaatkan fasilitas literasi khusus tunanetra. Belajar keterampilan berupa musik dan pengobatan tradisional.Kata Kunci: Literasi Informasi, siswa tunanetra, kemampuan membaca Abstract: Students with visual impairments have limited vision who are seen as helpless, weak, and often receive discriminatory treatment. Problems experienced by blind students are feeling hopeless in reading and writing, unwilling to improve literacy skills, and having limitations in further advancing academic potential and quality. This study aims to determine a information literacy skill at blind students of a special. The method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data analysis uses the Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis. The participants involved in the research were 4 blind students who study at SLB Prof. Sri Soedewi Masjchun. The results show that the information literacy of SLB Prof. Sri Soedewi Jambi’s blind students include; learning using audios, taking notes, doing assignments, and learning sentences in detail. They have writing and reading skills, are able to count and access information on the internet. They utilize special literacy facilities for the blind. They learn musical skills and traditional medicine.Keywords: information literacy; blins student; reading skill

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as traditional educational institutions meant to be safe and supportive environments for character building and self-development, have also become places where bullying can occur. This situation highlights the need for serious attention and concrete action from various parties, including educational institutions, parents, communities, and the government, to prevent and address bullying issues both in boarding schools and the broader educational environment. Through a multidisciplinary approach, namely health, law, and psychology, this study aims to identify, analyze, and understand the phenomenon of bullying in boarding schools. This research a quantitative analytical approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample comprises 156 individuals from three boarding schools in Jambi City: As’ad Boarding School, Ainul Yaqin Boarding School, and Darul Hikmah Boarding School. Samples were obtained using a simple random sampling technique. There is a correlation between bullying and mental health among students at the boarding schools in Jambi City in 2024. However, there is no correlation between bullying and emotional intelligence among these students.It is hoped that comprehensive anti-bullying programs can be developed and implemented, along with providing access to counseling and psychological support for students. Additionally, efforts should be made to create a positive environment and a more harmonious atmosphere to reduce the likelihood of bullying.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil di SMPN 53 Merangin Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMPN 53 Merangin, kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai significant other. Analisis data menggunakan interpretative phenomenological analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil yaitu tujuan dan cita-cita siswa, baik dalam bentuk lanjut studi maupun bekerja. Motivasi berupa alasan, minat, dan ketertarikan mereka terhadap cita-cita dan tujuan, serta yang terakhir modeling yang mana mereka menggambarkan cita-cita dan tujuan terhadap figur yang sering mereka lihat di sekolah maupun di lingkungan masyarakat terpencil.

Abstract

Relasi sosial antara pemangku adat dan masyarakat merupakan kajian penting dalam psikologi sosial mengingat eksistensi adat masih kuat di Indonesia. Dalam eksistensi kesejarahannya, banyak masalah yang kita temukan mengenai masyarakat adat, diantaranya belum optimalnya lembaga adat, konflik kepentingan, perbedaan dan perselisihan terhadap keputusan adat, serta sikap egois masing-masing pihak dalam kerja-kerja kebudayaan. Dalam konteks tersebut, diperlukan eksplorasi mengenai bentuk relasi sosial yang bisa menjembatani perbedaan dan kepentingan antara individu dan kelompok dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali model relasi sosial pemangku adat dengan masyarakat di Hamparan Rawang, Kota Sungai Penuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara terhadap tujuh orang partisipan, yang terdiri dari Depati dan Ninik Mamak. Proses analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya sembilan tema relasi sosial pemangku adat Depati dan Ninik Mamak dengan warga, diantaranya adalah kebersamaan, kekompakan, kerja sama, menjadi teladan, bertindak adil, menyelesaikan persoalan, memiliki otoritas, bimbingan dan arahan, serta memberi manfaat.
