Abstract

Teaching of Arabic had really spread in Indonesia this lately, both in formal and informal institutions, either at the school, boarding school or university level. But unfortunately the teaching of Arabic from the past until now still faced with various problematic. Among those problems are the low level of student motivation during learning process. The phenomenon of this low motivation is found by the author based of his experience in teaching Arabic at the universities. This phenomenon encouraged the author to devote his attention in order to analyze the problems and provide a solution. After analyzing the problem, the authors found that the problem of low level of student motivation in Arabic teaching has centered on four issues, are:(1) The encouragement and the needs for teaching of Arabic, (2) the expectations and purposes in the future, (3) the learning environment, and (4) the existence of things that are interesting and fun in teaching. This indicates that the level of student motivation in learning Arabic at universities is still low. Therefore the author always thought which raises the spirit and intent to make the development, innovation, design, and improvement in the teaching process. The Author attempts to teaching Arabic with games because it has an important role in improving student motivation and maintain it. Through the individual games, the learners can develop themselves, cognition and interact with their environment. Based on the author's experience, he has tried as many as 21 language games, but in this simple article he convey about 14 games. when the games has been applied, the author found that the level of student motivation during the process of Arabic teaching is increasing.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab MA/SMA/SMK meningkat lebih khusus tentang strategi pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa (istimak, kalam, qira’ah, dan kitabah) unsur-unsur bahasa (mufradat dan tarkib). Kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi guru bahasa Arab MA/SMA/SMK Malang yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari. Materi yang disampaikan kepada para peserta adalah pengajaran istimak (menyimak), pengajaran kalam (berbicara), pengajaran qira’ah (membaca), pengajaran kitabah (menulis), pengajaran mufradat (kosakata), dan pengajaran tarkib (susunan bahasa Arab). Sasaran pelatihan ini adalah guru bahasa Arab MA/SMA/SMK yang berjumlah 120 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah modeling, tanya jawab dan praktik. Hasil kegiatan terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu kegiatan pembukaan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup.

Abstract

Debat dapat membantu peserta didik untuk melihat kekuatan penggelaran rasional, argumen beralasan dan bukti kuat dalam tindakan. Ini memungkinkan mereka menjelaskan sudut pandang mereka dengan memanfaatkan kefasihan retoris. Ini juga menanamkan rasa sangat tenang dan percaya diri. meneliti, mengorganisir, dan menyajikan informasi dengan cara yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan dan mengeksplor bentuk kesalahan ucap dalam keterampilan berbicara di bidang debat bahasa Arab berupa analisis kesalahan siktaksis dan morfologi serta memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi problema kesalahan ucap debat bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi kualitatif terhadap kesalahan pada video lomba debat bahasa Arab tingkat nasional maupun ASEAN. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) terdapat 29 kesalahan sintaksis dan 12 kesalahan morfologi (2) Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah: (a) perlunya persiapan debaters dalam aspek sintaksis dan morfologi, (b) melakukan latihan berkesinambungan, dan (c) meningkatkan keseriusan mendalami debat bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The use of the gerund in English grammar and Arabic in the realm of syntax is a basic discussion as provisions for language learners. Syntax contrastive analysis of using mashdar and gerund can make it easier for someone to understand the use of mashdar easily. This view is the background of this research. The purpose of this study was to analyze the equations and use of mashdar and gerund from a syntactic aspect. This type of research is literature review (library research) where the approach uses qualitative methods that are descriptive analysis to process data. In this study, the authors used several methods, namely data methods and data analysis using language contrastive analysis methods in English and Arabicgrammar books. Similarities between gerund and masdar such as gerund and masdar can be the subject of a nominal sentence (mubtada'), a subject of a verbal sentence (fa' il), a nominal predicate (khabar), a verb object (maf'u l bih), a modifier noun (mudaf ilaih), lies the adverb of time (Zaraf zaman), falls after the question word (istifham), falls after the demonstrative (isim isyarah). Whereas the difference is that there is masdar muawwal, masdar becomes taukid, masdar explores a job, masdar describes the type of work, masdar is a description of the type of fi'il or its nature, masdar becomes a trait, gerund becomes short anition, gerund becomes adjective, gerund fell after the possessive adjective.

Abstract

Melihat kompleksnya materi pelajaran yg ada pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yg meliputi; materi aqidah akhlak, fikih, hadist, SKI, dan ayat-ayat Qur’aniyah tematik sehingga ada materi yg terlewatkan karena terbatasnya waktu dan keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan materi bahasa Arab dari ayat-ayat qur’aniyah. Diantara manfaat penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Project Based Learning adalah tersusunanya materi ajar dengan berbagai macam aktifitas yang bagi peserta didik. Maka dari itu diharapkan Guru-guru diharapkan dapat menyususn materi ajar bahasa Arab ayat-ayat qur’aniyah yang inovatif. Adapun langkah-langkah untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut meliputi; (1)Pengenalan Bahasa Arab Qur’ani, (2) Pengenalan Perangkat Pembelajaran Inovatif berbasis project based learning, (3) Menyusun Perangkat Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Qurani Inovatif berbasis berbasis project based learning, (4) Praktik Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Qurani Inovatif berbasis berbasis project based learning. adapun Target capaian dari kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat luar negeri yang bermitra dengan Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur meliputi ; (1) artikel jurnal sinta 3, (2) produk HKI, (3) publikasi media massa, (4) foto kegiatan terlampir dalam laporan, dan (5) poster.

Abstract

This study investigates the strategic formation of professional identity among novice Arabic teachers within a teacher professional education program. It aimed to delineate the core identity values fostered and to elucidate the specific strategies employed by the program to cultivate this identity. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were generated through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with program implementers, educators, and student teachers, selected via snowball sampling. Analysis involved a staged process of data reduction, coding, and categorization, framed by Uril Bahruddin's theory of language education development. The findings demonstrate that professionalism and learning are the central identity values instilled troughout the program. This identity, which serves as an indicator of professional competence, is systematically forged through a multi-faceted strategic approach that includes matriculation, targeted assignments, curated teaching materials, comprehensive assessment and evaluation, and activity-based methods. These strategies effectively guide novice Arabic teachers in developing their professional identity and shaping their long-term teaching trajectory.

Abstract

The Arabic language plays a crucial role in Islamic education, particularly in understanding Islamic sciences. However, traditional teaching methods often lack innovation, resulting in challenges such as limited vocabulary acquisition and insufficient speaking practice. This study examines the implementation of the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) method in Arabic language instruction at Pesantren Tahfizh Al-Bassam. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research explores CLIL implementation strategies, challenges encountered, and its impact on students. The findings indicate that CLIL enhances Arabic language skills, both oral and written, while also accelerating vocabulary acquisition and improving comprehension of Islamic studies. Pesantren strategies include teacher training, CLIL integration into the curriculum, and project-based assessments such as Arabic-language drama performances and short video production. While CLIL proves effective, challenges remain, including a shortage of qualified teaching staff and a lack of instructional materials. To address these issues, Pesantren organizes intensive teacher training and incorporates artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology into learning. This study concludes that CLIL is an innovative and effective approach to improving Arabic language education in Pesantren. With adequate support, this method has the potential to become a standardized approach to Arabic instruction in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam pembelajaran Informatika pada materi presentasi untuk mengoptimalkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 18 Malang. PjBL memberikan pengalaman belajar aktif melalui proyek nyata, sementara CRT mengakomodasi keberagaman budaya siswa agar tercipta lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan subjek 32 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, rubrik penilaian kolaborasi, dan wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL berbasis CRT meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, tanggung jawab tim, serta kemampuan komunikasi antaranggota kelompok. Pengintegrasian nilai budaya lokal dalam proyek juga meningkatkan motivasi dan rasa dihargai siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi PjBL dan CRT efektif dalam membentuk pembelajaran yang kolaboratif, bermakna, dan transformatif. Guru Informatika disarankan mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap keberagaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media on the collaboration skills of junior high school students in the digital era. The TGT model groups students heterogeneously and uses tournaments as a medium for healthy competition, so it is considered effective in improving collaboration skills, one of the 21st century skills that is very much needed in the world of work and social life. This study used a quantitative design with a sample of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 18 Malang who were selected by random sampling. Data on student collaboration skills were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the average collaboration skills of students taught with the TGT model assisted by snakes and ladders media reached 78.13% (good category), and the paired sample t-test obtained a significance of 0.000 (<0.05), so it can be concluded that the TGT type cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media has a significant effect in improving students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

Computational thinking skills are skills needed to solve various problems that arise in everyday life. Based on the international study of the Programme for Student (PISA), Indonesian students have low thinking and reasoning skills. Therefore, this study aims to develop a game-based learning media (product) called "Swapmaster", to help develop students' computational thinking skills. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the stages of the Borg and Gall model that have been adjusted to the needs of the study. These stages include 1) Research and Data Collection, 2) Planning, 3) Making a draft version of the product, 4) Initial validation test 5) Implementation of analysis (operational field test). The results of the study showed that the application of the Swapmaster learning media that had been validated by experts was able to improve students' computational thinking skills and was included in the "Good" criteria.
