Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang berlangsung di Desa Mekarbuana Kabupaten Karawang melibatkan timdari Program Studi Manajemen Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang dengan tujuan membuat informasi tentang pariwisata Desa Mekarbuana berbentuk profile untuk dijadikan bahan informasi kepariwisataaan yang ada di desa Mekarbuana beserta dengan potensi-potensi wisata lainnya yang mungkin bisa dikembangkan. Kegiatanabdimas dimulai pada 1 Oktober 2023. pengabdian masyarakat ini membahas upaya pengembangan potensi pariwisata Desa Mekarbuana Karawang Selatan. Desa tersebut memiliki keindahan alam berupa pegunungan, air terjun dan sungai yang menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Pada kegiatan pengabdian, dilakukan survey dan observasi awal, melibatkan pemerintahan desa, badan usaha milik desa dan masyarakat setempat. Hasilnya mencakup profil pariwisata, potensi alam, infrastruktur, strategi pemasaran, partisipasi masyarakat lokal, dan pengembangan produk pariwisata. Profil pariwisata Mekarbuana mencakup potensi alam seperti Gunung Sanggabuana, air terjun Curug Bandung, Curug Cigentis, dan Curug Lalay

Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja tidak harus di lihat sebagai takdir karena kecelakaan terjadi tidak begitu saja. Kecelakaan terjadi biasanya ada penyebabnya. Kelalaian perusahaan dalam menerapkan system keamanan, system kesehatan dan juga keselamat merupakan salah satu faktr penyebab kecelakaan. Ditambah lagi dengan minimnya kesadaran para pekerja untuk menggunakan alat pelndung diri saat melakukan pekerjaan. Ekowisata merupakan sebuah wisata alami ataupun buatan dengan mengindahkan dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan alam yang yang memiliki nilai pendidikan dan juga ekonomi. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di atas, dua komponen ini merupakan hal yang saling memiliki keterkaitan di mana area atau alam terbuka termasuk di dalam nya tempat wisata sangat potensial memicu kecelakaan bagi siapa saja kalua saja di area tersebut tidak di dukung perangkat dan rambu rambu keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) dan Keamanan.

Abstract

Tujuan utama pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberdayakan masyarakat melalui peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan dalam kewirausahaan dan manajemen keuangan. Fokusnya termasuk peningkatan pemahaman konsep kewirausahaan, strategi pemasaran dan manajemen operasional. Selanjutnya pelatihan manajemen keuangan membahas aspek pembuatan anggaran, pencatatan transaksi keuangan, analisis laporan keuangan, dan pengelolaan hutang serta investasi. Identifikasi sasaran melibatkan UMKM lokal, kelompok petani, pemberdayaan wanita, kemandirian ekonomi lokal dan pemberdayaan komunitas.

Abstract

Financial management is a key aspect in achieving financial well-being of the community. However, the level of financial literacy in Indonesia is still low, requiring education and development of financial literacy to reduce ineffective financial decisions. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) are actively encouraging the improvement of financial literacy, with a focus on education, national campaigns, strengthening infrastructure, and developing affordable financial service products. Financial literacy, which includes knowledge, understanding, skills, and motivation in making financial decisions, has a positive impact on financial management behavior. Individuals with higher levels of financial literacy tend to make better financial decisions, avoid investment fraud, and understand the principles of financial planning. However, income also plays an important role as a moderator, influencing the relationship between financial literacy and financial management. Individuals with low incomes tend to have lower financial literacy, which can affect their financial management practices. Therefore, challenges such as behavioral bias and external factors can affect financial literacy and its management implementation.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance at the Karawang Regency Health Office Research Methodology: The research method used is a quantitative approach. The sampling method used is random sampling by distributing questionnaires to a population of 102 respondents and taking a sample of 81 respondents using the Slovin formula. The study used multiple regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 27 software. The data analysis used includes validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation, partial t-test, and simultaneous f-test. Results: The results of this study prove that there is a partial influence of the Work Environment (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, and there is no partial influence of Work Discipline (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) with a sig value of 0.395 > 0.05. Additionally, there is a simultaneous influence of the Work Environment (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) on Employee Performance with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. Limitations: The study was limited to the Karawang Regency Health Office, and the data collection was done through a questionnaire, which may have limitations in capturing the full context of the respondents' perspectives. Contribution: The findings of this study provide insights into the importance of the work environment and work discipline in improving employee performance, which can be useful for management in developing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the entrepreneurial competence of the Mekar Jaya Village community, Cilamaya Kulon District, Karawang Regency, through training and mentoring for local potential-based businesses. A qualitative approach was used in this activity by involving observation, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) with the community and micro-business actors. The program implementation includes three stages: preparation, training, and mentoring. The results of the activity show that the community has great potential in developing local products, but faces obstacles such as lack of knowledge of business management, digital marketing, and product innovation. Through entrepreneurship training, there was an increase in participants' understanding in managing a business, especially in terms of financial planning and marketing strategies. Business mentoring helped participants apply the knowledge they had gained, which was seen from the increase in product quality and market access. The findings also revealed that the success of the activity was greatly influenced by the enthusiasm of the participants and the active involvement of the facilitators. This activity has a positive impact on increasing public awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship as an effort to improve economic welfare. This program is expected to be a model of sustainability that can be applied in other villages by adjusting to their respective local needs and potentials.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to determine the partial or simultaneous influence between work culture and organizational commitment on employee loyalty at PT. Nawa Setia Perkasa. Research method— This type of research uses descriptive verification with a quantitative approach and is carried out using a questionnaire method. The sample for this research was 141 respondents using the Slovin formula. The analytical model used in this research is a multiple linear regression analysis model. Result— The results show that there is a partial influence of work culture on employee loyalty, a partial influence of organizational commitment on employee loyalty, and a simultaneous influence of work culture and organizational commitment on employee loyalty. Conclusion— High work culture and organizational commitment have a positive effect on employee loyalty at PT Nawa Setia Perkasa, creating a supportive work environment and increasing employee loyalty. Weak work culture and organizational commitment can reduce employee loyalty due to a lack of strong organizational commitment and emotional investment from the company.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to determine and analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of work competence and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Klari sub-district office. Research method— This type of research uses a quantitative approach and is conducted using a questionnaire method. The sample of this study amounted to 40 employees using the saturated total sampling formula. The analysis model used in this study is a multiple regression analysis model using the F test and t test. Result— The results of this study indicate that there is a partial effect of work competence on employee performance and a partial effect of work discipline on employee performance. Additionally, there is a simultaneous influence of work competence and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Klari sub-district office. Conclusion— The conclusion of this study is the importance of improving work competence and employee discipline to improve performance at the Klari District Office.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan supaya mengetahui kinerja pegawai Kantor Desa Lemahmukti Kabupaten Karawang dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat Desa Lemahmukti. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, serta studi literatur secara terstruktur maupun tidak terstruktur tentang isu-isu yang berkaitan dengan kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya secara keseluruhan Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Desa Lemahmukti ketika memberi pelayanan kepada masyarakat jika diamati dari segi kualitas, kuantitas, tanggung jawab, kerja sama dan inisiatif para pegawai sudah sangat baik, sudah berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur yang di berlakukan walaupun masih terdapat sebagian pelayanan yang belum maksimal dari segi kemampuan dan kecepatan pegawai dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaannya sesuai dengan waktu serta target yang sudah ditentukan, sebagai contoh kasus pada pelayanan untuk pembuatan Kartu Keluarga (KK), pembuatan Akta Kelahiran, serta pembuatan Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP), Karena prosedurnya yang lama mulai dari pengumpulan data pemohon, antrean foto dan proses pembuatannya yang memakan waktu bahkan bisa melebihi 1 bulan, Namun begitu Kantor Desa Lemahmukti selalu berusaha untuk memaksimalkan kinerjanya dengan sangat baik dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat di Desa Lemahmukti.
