Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang implementasi pemenuhan hak Pendidikan warga binaan di Kampus Kehidupan Lapas Pemuda Kelas II A Kota Tangerang. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan yang disingkat Lapas kini telah mendapatkan penyegaran dan perubahan diberbagai aspek diantaranya adalah sistem pemasyarakatan tidak lagi dipandang sebagai tempat dihukumnya para narapidana dengan momok yang menakutkan menyeramkan sekaligus terkesan angker. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan kini menjadi sebuah tempat yang bertransformasi menjadi pusat pengembangan Pendidikan dan pembinaan. Hal ini dilakukan agar warga binaan mendapatkan kembali kepercayaan diri agar kelak dapat diterima di tengah masyarakat dan menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik setelah dibina, dididik dan dilatih melalui program yang ada di lapas. Salah satu program Pendidikan dan pembinaan di lapas adalah kampus kehidupan, program ini menjadi bukti penyelenggaraan Pendidikan menjadi hak bagi semua warga negara tanpa terkecuali mereka yang menjalani masa hukuman di dalam lapas. melalui program ini diharapkan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa dan menjadi bekal kelak saat mereka Kembali ke tengah-tengah masyarakat. Melalui program ini juga mereka akan mendapatkan gelar sarjana di balik jeruji besi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of tolerance in Islam as practiced during the Abbasid Dynasty, especially in the interaction between Muslims and non-Muslims, and to analyze the views of the Imams of the Schools and contemporary scholars regarding the values ​​of tolerance in building an inclusive, harmonious, and respectful society. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected through literature reviews from various sources, including classical books, historical documents, and analysis of the views of the Imams of the Schools and contemporary scholars. This approach aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the practice of tolerance and its contribution to the development of Islamic civilization in the Abbasid era, especially through institutions such as Bayt al-Hikmah. This study found that the Abbasid Dynasty was an example of the successful implementation of religious tolerance through inclusive policies and collaborative approaches in various aspects of life. The Imams of the Schools emphasized the importance of tolerance as a basis for social interaction, both among Muslims and non-Muslims. Institutions such as Bayt al-Hikmah played an important role in encouraging cross-cultural and religious interaction, resulting in intellectual and social progress. These tolerance values ​​not only have an impact on political stability, but also make a significant contribution to building an advanced and diverse Islamic civilization. This study also emphasizes the importance of implementing tolerance values ​​in everyday life to create a harmonious society in the modern era.

Abstract

The revitalization of Islamic education is a strategic step in shaping future leaders with strong character, professional competence, and solid moral values. This study employs a literature review approach to explore the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for revitalizing Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic education faces globalization challenges, including moral crises, technological gaps, and the lack of curriculum relevance to contemporary needs. Therefore, integrating Islamic values with modern science and technology, along with innovative teaching methods, is essential. The study also emphasizes the importance of synergy between families, schools, and communities in creating a supportive educational environment. Moreover, government involvement and cross-sector collaboration are key to improving the quality of Islamic education through policy support, infrastructure, and funding. With a holistic and value-based approach, Islamic education can produce leaders with noble character, global competitiveness, and a commitment to serving humanity's welfare.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as one of the faith-based education, also function as Islamic religious broadcasters. Islamic boarding schools have a high level of integrity with sekitamya and become a moral show for the general public. The science studied is inseparable from religious teachings, meaning that all events that occur are considered to have a relationship with religious teachings. The educational institution built by kiayai Noer Iskandar SQ is the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School which is an Islamic educational institution and a religious social institution. In its capacity as an Educational, Religious, and Community institution, Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School always exists in developing its educational concept and remains committed as a stronghold of the Islamic shiar struggle. The method that the author used in this study is the qualitative method. The reason researchers use this is because in this paper, the author wants to provide, explain, describe the concept of pesantren education thought developed by KH. Noer Iskandar SQ who critically, or describes a phenomenon, an event, or an event of social interaction in pesantren. Therefore, this type of qualitative research is descriptive, by collecting field data and existing literature. The difference between one type and another lies in the purpose and strategy of discovery.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using sign language in the learning process of reciting the Quran for deaf students, by taking a case study at the Al-Adzom Grand Mosque. Deaf students, as children with special needs, face limitations in hearing, but still show high enthusiasm and motivation in studying the Quran. In this context, sign language becomes an alternative communication medium that allows them to understand the learning material more optimally. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews with Quran teachers and student caregivers, as well as literature studies that support theoretical understanding. The data were analyzed descriptively to describe how the application of sign language affects the ability of deaf students to read and understand the verses of the Quran. The results of the study showed that the use of sign language was proven to be effective and had a positive impact on the development of the students' Quran reading skills. This finding confirms that physical limitations are not the main barrier in the process of religious education, as long as the methods applied are able to accommodate the special needs of students. Therefore, it is important for Islamic educational institutions to develop an inclusive and adaptive approach for students with disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public speaking skills on students’ self-confidence in academic and professional contexts. The research questions include the role of public speaking, factors affecting self-confidence, and strategies for its improvement. The method used is qualitative with a literature review (library research) approach, examining various relevant academic sources published within the last ten years. This study is based on Bandura’s (1997) self-efficacy theory and Robbins and Judge’s (2017) concept of soft skills as the main theoretical foundations. Data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive content analysis techniques, and data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings indicate that public speaking skills significantly enhance students’ self-confidence in various situations such as presentations, discussions, and job interviews. Therefore, training and development of these skills need to be strengthened within academic and professional environments.

Abstract

Public Speaking is an oral communication skill that includes verbal, vocal, and visual (3V) aspects. The purpose of writing this article in general is to provide an overview and inform, provide inspiration and benefits for readers. This article can also be used to educate readers about the importance of public speaking. Public speaking includes preparation, conveying messages clearly, maintaining non-verbal communication, and overcoming anxiety and nervousness. The research method used is the library research method, which is a literature method that refers to books, articles, and journals. The results of this study show that social media is not only a communication tool, but also plays a role as a dynamic learning medium, especially in building public speaking skills. It can be concluded that learning public speaking in the era of social media requires an adaptive strategy to technological developments and the characteristics of the digital generation.

Abstract

Produktivitas suatu wilayah sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendongkrak angka kemiskinan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang melimpah. Desa Suka Tani Kampung Pisang Kelurahan Karang Sari Kecamatan Neglasari Kota Tangerang terkenal dengan salah satu budi daya yang biasa disebut KWT (Kelompok Wanita Tani) yang mana kelompok ini sebagai sebutan para masyarakat khususnya perempuan yang bersama-sama membudidayakan Tanaman TOGA yang sudah lama tidak terurus dan bahkan kotor serta banyak tanaman yang mati. Maka dari itu, Kelompok 6 Kuliah Kerja Kemasyarakatan (KKK) 2023 UNIS Tangerang memiliki ide untuk melakukan pembenahan pengembangan kembali pada tanaman TOGA. Hal tersebut tentunya harus didukung oleh semua lapisan masyarakat dan pemerintah, karena bisa menjadi peluang baru untuk memajukan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Kampung Pisang. Kata Kunci : Pembenahan, Pengembangan, TOGA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana ajaran Nabi Muhammad membantu mengubah masyarakat Mekkah dari masa jahiliyah menjadi peradaban yang lebih maju. Penelitian ini mengkaji perubahan spiritual, sosial, dan ekonomi yang terjadi melalui pengamatan literatur buku, jurnal, dan publikasi terkait dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif yang didasarkan pada penelitian sejarah. Penduduk Mekah mengalami degradasi moral sebelum masuknya Islam dalam bentuk ketidakadilan sosial, diskriminasi gender, penyembahan berhala, dan eksploitasi perempuan dan budak. Bahkan dengan adanya kemajuan dalam seni sastra dan bisnis, kondisi sosial memburuk karena praktik-praktik seperti riba dan perjudian. Tauhid, keadilan, kesetaraan, dan penghargaan terhadap martabat manusia adalah prinsip-prinsip Islam yang dibawa oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW, menggantikan nilai-nilai jahiliyah. Persaudaraan Islam menggantikan struktur kesukuan, dan riba digantikan oleh perdagangan yang bermoral, yang dibantu oleh zakat dan sedekah untuk mengurangi kesenjangan sosial. Masyarakat yang lebih damai yang berpusat pada kemakmuran bersama merupakan hasil dari perubahan ini. Selain menciptakan peradaban baru di Mekah, revolusi teologis dan sosial Nabi Muhammad menjadi sumber inspirasi yang tak lekang oleh waktu. Studi ini menunjukkan bagaimana ajaran Nabi Muhammad dapat menjadi katalisator bagi transformasi sosial yang signifikan dan bertahan lama.
