Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to re-look at how to build the character of today's young generation if we see still many behaviors or attitudes of the young generation that are far from expectations, this is associated with 21-century skills-based learning model that is being applied in schools, as for the methods used in this writing is the study of several sources of books, journals and other references that support this writing. from the results of theoretical studies can be concluded that the development of character for the young generation today is not separated from the culture and the three environments that support families, schools and communities. The use of 21st century skills-based learning model used in teaching and learning process as a way to build character must be tailored to the needs and objectives of learning, so that the learning objectives can be achieved well.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang model pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis kecakapan abad 21 dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan saat ini berbasis kecakapan abad 21 dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kewarganegraaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari wawancara, observasi dan studi litelatur dengan lokasi penelitian di Kota Bandung. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru mata pelajaran PKn, kepala sekolah dan teman sejawat dari guru mata pelajaran PKn. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa  kompetensi kewarganegaraan di pendidikan kejuruan harus adanya pengembangan literasi digital, dan karakter. Berdarsarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan Model pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganearaan berbasis kecakapan abad 21 dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kewaragnegaraan di pendidikan kejuruan dalam proses pembelajaran sudah berbasis teknologi dan pendidikan karakter terus ditanamkan dengan berbagai kegiatan baik dalam kelas maupun di luar jam pembelajaran.21st Century Skills-Based Citizenship Education Learning in Improving Citizenship Competence in Vocational Education. This article discusses the 21st-century skills-based citizenship education learning model in enhancing citizenship competencies. This research activity aims to find out the current citizenship education learning based on 21st-century skills in improving citizenship competence. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection consisting of interviews, observations and literature studies with research locations in the city of Bandung. The subjects of this study were students, civics subject teachers, principals and classmates of Civics subject teachers. The results of the study that citizenship competence in vocational education must be the development of digital literacy, technology, and character. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the learning model of 21st Century skills-based civic education in improving citizenship competence in vocational education in the learning process has been based on technology and character education continues to be embedded with various activities both in the classroom and outside of learning hours.

Abstract

In the process of learning activities, teachers should be required to be able to choose the right learning media in delivering learning materials to students, so that students more easily understand and recall the subject matter presented by the teacher, and create an attraction for students to be more active in participating in the learning process. teach. Therefore, I am interested in researching the Effect of Video Learning Media on Increasing Student Learning Motivation in Civics Subjects at SMP IT Nur Al Rahman Cimahi. The problems that will be discussed in this research are; 1) how to use video learning media in Civics subjects; 2) how is the motivation of students in PPKn subjects; 3) how much influence the use of video media in increasing students' motivation in learning Civics. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of video learning media on students' learning motivation. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The sampling technique is by random sampling. The results of the study are 1) The value for the video learning media variable (X) is 49.02. The classification is said that the video learning media variable (X) belongs to the "very good" category, students participate in Civics learning using video learning media effectively. 2) The value for the learning motivation variable (Y) is 47.54. The classification can be said that the learning motivation variable (Y) belongs to the "Very Good" category, indicating that students' learning motivation has increased. 3) The results of the F test can be taken to determine the value of fcount 74,917 > ftable 4.00 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which means there is an overall effect between the independent variable (video learning media) on the dependent variable (Learning Motivation)4) The coefficient of determination is 55.5% and the remaining 44.4% is determined by other variables outside of this research.
