Abstract

The development of instructional media is essential for educators to convey abstract learning content effectively. Multimedia offers a concrete visualization of abstract concepts. This study aims to create an efficient and practical multimedia-based instructional media. The research subjects were third-grade elementary school students. Employing a modified Research and Development (R&D) design, the study utilized questionnaires and interviews for data collection. The research encompassed phases of problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. Multimedia was validated by media experts, subject matter experts, and language experts. The obtained scores from media experts were 85.57%, subject matter experts scored 83%, and language experts scored 93.27%. This research contributes to the creation of effective and practical multimedia-based instructional media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on improving students' learning interest in Pancasila Education for Grade X students at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Blitar. The research employed an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 60 students divided into two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The experimental approach used a pre-test and post-test design, with 68 students divided into two groups: the experimental group (X-1) and the control group (X-7). Before conducting the study, a trial was conducted to determine the validity of the questionnaire. The validity and reliability tests showed reliability coefficients of 0.877 for the experimental group and 0.881 for the control group, both exceeding the threshold of 0.60. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed through assumption testing, including normality and heteroscedasticity tests. The normality test, conducted using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method, yielded a significance value of 0.648, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The heteroscedasticity test produced a significance value of 0.976, suggesting no heteroscedasticity issues. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a partial t-test, which revealed that the TGT model had a significant positive effect on students' learning interest, as the t-value (2.095) exceeded the t-table value (2.036), and the significance value (0.039) was less than 0.05. These results support the hypothesis that TGT significantly influences students' learning interest. The study concluded that the TGT model effectively enhances student engagement and communication skills in the context of cooperative learning.

Abstract

Literacy activities at the primary school level aim to develop students' interest in reading and reading habits. These activities involve aspects of listening, reading and a variety of types of reading materials. However, their implementation requires a structured program and effective supervision. Preliminary research shows that the main challenges in the current School Literacy Movement are supervision and habituation constraints that are difficult for teachers to observe, as well as limited access to reading resources due to distance learning. This community service aims to make a positive contribution by applying Si Cetar Media (Blitar Story Literacy Application) as a supporting tool for literacy activities in primary schools. The implementation approach involved preparation, workshop and evaluation stages. Initial observations and determining instruments were conducted in the preparation. The workshop involved the school principal and involved the use of Si Cetar Media. The evaluation of the literacy program with Media Si Cetar was conducted in the final stage. Si Cetar Media is expected to have a positive impact on teachers, students and schools. The various titles and storylines accompanied by interesting pictures can motivate students, while easy access through laptop or mobile devices enables independent learning. The use of this media also makes it easier for teachers to manage literacy programs and assess student progress. Furthermore, Media Si Cetar complements the school's collection of reading resources, allowing students to learn through a broader digital platform than traditional libraries. The expected outcomes are teachers' positive response to the Community Service Program (PKM) as well as the effective dissemination of Media Si Cetar.

Abstract

AbstrakMotivasi dan kreativitas siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dapat ditumbuhkan oleh guru melalui berbagai cara diantaranya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bervariatif dan menarik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih guru di SD Negeri Togogan 02 agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengoperasikan computer dan selanjutnya dapat membuat media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi secara mandiri. Adapun metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah dengan menakulan observasi awal, memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta memonitoring dan mengevaluasi perkembangannya.  Materi pelatihan yang diberikan kepada guru diantaranya pembuatan dan prosedur penggunaan media Mengenal Mata Uang (MAWANG), Materi Game Pecahan (MAGECAH), Belajar Bangun Datar (LABADA) dan Aplikasi Cerita Blitar (Si Cetar). Proses pelatihan diawali dengan penyampaian materi dan praktek, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan kepada guru selama dua minggu, monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan selama satu minggu setelah pendampingan untuk mengukur tingkat kemajuan ketrampilan guru.Kata Kunci : Diseminasi, Media Pembelajaran, Berbasis TeknologiAbstractThe motivation and creativity of students in participating in learning activities can be grown by the teacher in various ways including by using varied and interesting learning media. The purpose of this community service activity is to train teachers at public elementary school Togogan 02 so they can improve their ability to operate computers and then be able to make technology-based learning media independently. The service method used is to carry out initial observations, provide training and assistance, as well as monitor and evaluate developments. The training materials provided to teachers included the creation and procedures for using Know Currency media (MAWANG), Fractional Game Materials (MAGECAH), Learning Flat Shapes (LABADA) and Blitar Story Applications (Si Cetar). The training process begins with the delivery of material and practice, then continues with mentoring the teacher for two weeks. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out for one week after the mentoring to measure the progress of the teacher's skills.Keyword: Dissemination, Learning Media, Technology Based

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada rendahnya kemampuan matematika murid Indonesia, yang tercermin dari skor rata-rata PISA 2022 sebesar 366, jauh melampaui level minimum OECD. Observasi di tiga sekolah dasar di Blitar menunjukkan bahwa alat bantu pembelajaran yang digunakan masih terbatas pada benda konkret dan minim pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Wawancara dengan guru mengungkapkan bahwa kendala utama dalam penggunaan teknologi adalah keterbatasan perangkat dan dukungan orang tua. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Aplikasi Pembagian (APEM) sehubungan dengan minat serta perkembangan hasil belajar murid kelas III pada materi pembagian, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dalam penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen tidak murni dan rancangan pretest-posttest dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak setara, penelitian dilakukan di UPT SD Negeri Kepanjen Kidul 02 selama Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, melibatkan 44 murid. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan APEM secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar murid, dengan skor posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji statistik mendukung validitas temuan, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan APEM memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematika murid. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, disarankan agar pengajaran matematika lebih sering menggunakan media APEM untuk meningkatkan pengaruh pembelajaran, terutama pada materi yang membutuhkan pemahaman konsep, seperti pembagian. Penggunaan media ini, yang dikombinasikan dengan model PBL, terbukti berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat dan pencapaian belajar murid secara signifikan.

Abstract

Community service activities as a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is carried out by involving lecturers, students and partner institutions. In this community service with the title "Mentoring the Preparation of the 4 Anti Programs (No Sexual Violence, No Bullying, Intolerance, and No Corruption) for Elementary School Students at SDN Bendo 01" as a form of community service activities carried out in collaboration with it.  This community service activity began with field observations of the situation and condition of student characters at SDN Bendo 01 by observing students' daily behavior at school, both in interacting with teachers and peers. Observations were made starting from learning activities, and student interactions in and outside the classroom. After obtaining information about the development of SDN Bendo 01 students, a schedule was prepared for mentoring class teachers and subject teachers to participate in this activity on a scheduled basis. It is hoped that all teachers can prepare and implement no violence programs in the school environment and the surrounding community.  The final result of this community service activity is the preparation of no violence guidelines in schools both in classroom and outside classroom learning activities. So it is hoped that with these guidelines it will make it easier for teachers to develop good character in students and make it easier for students to behave in the school environment and the community.

Abstract

Setiap program kegiatan, baik program pendidikan maupun non pendidikan, seharusnya diikuti dengan kegiatan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan bertujuan untuk menilai apakah suatu program terlaksana sesuai dengan perencanaan dan mencapai hasil sesuai yang diharapan atau belum. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang terkait dengan evaluasi yang diberikan kepada siswa sebagai alat ukur untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan peserta didiknya dalam memahami konsep materi yang telah diajarkan. Dari observasi ditemukan bahwa evaluasi yang diberikan kepada peserta didik kurang memiliki validitas yang tinggi, evaluasi kurang reliabilitas, evaluasi masih dipengaruhi oleh faktor subyektif sehingga evaluasi kurang bersifat obyektif, serta evaluasi kurang memiliki praktikabilitas yang tinggi.Perlu adanya peningkatan peran guru dalam melakukan evaluasi dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi program MS. Excel termodifikasi untuk menghitung analisis ulangan. Dengan aplikasi ini, guru dapat dengan memudah mendapatkan hasil analisis nilai ulangan hanya dengan menginputkan data nilai.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan peran guru dalam menyusun evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada siklus I keberhasilan guru dalam menyusun evaluasi pembelajaran secara individu mencapai 79% atau ada 11 guru yang berhasil menyusun evaluasi pembelajaran secara individu. Sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dan mencapai 86.67% atau ada 12 guru yang berhasil menyusun evaluasi pembelajaran secara individu.

Abstract

Motivasi dan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan perkuliahan dapat ditumbuhkan oleh dosen melalui berbagai cara diantaranya dengan menggunakan teknik perkuliahan yang bervariatif dan menarik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN) diperoleh informasi bahwa mahasiswa cenderung bosan dalam mengikuti perkuliahan Teori Sosial. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti: (1) materi teori sosial yang banyak menerangkan konsep dan perbandingan teori yang menurut mahasiswa membosankan, (2) kurangnya kesadaran mahasiswa untuk belajar dari berbagai sumber secara mandiri dan kreatif, (3) metode yang digunakan dosen dalam mengajar dengan menggunakan model transfer informasi atau ceramah yang dianggap terlalu monoton. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hambatan yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar dan miskonsepsi yang dihadapi mahasiswa Program Studi PPKn Universitas Islam Balitar pada mata kuliah Teori Sosial. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan tes dan angket yang diharapkan dapat mengetahui penyebab kesulitan belajar dan miskonsepsi mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah teori sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi menggunakan media ELBOO AUVIS terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Blitar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi dengan media ELBOO AUVIS dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Media ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Lecture learning is the dominant method and is carried out without taking into account the possibility of using other learning models depending on the type of teaching material, so that students are passive and bored during learning. Conventional learning is considered as monotonous learning because only the teacher plays an active role in providing information, while students only show questioning skills and record what the teacher says. This study aims to determine the effect of EBAV (Electronic Audiovisual Booklet) teaching materials on PPKn learning motivation of class XI students of Kanigoro Islamic Vocational School and to determine the effect of EBAV (Electronic Audiovisual Booklet) teaching materials on PPKn learning outcomes of class XI students of Kanigoro Islamic Vocational School. The research method used in this study is the quantitative research method. The results of this study are that there is an influence of EBAV (Electronic Audiovisual Booklet) teaching materials on the learning motivation of PPKn students of class XI SMK as evidenced by the calculation of the hypothesis with simple linear regression with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05 and there is also the effect of EBAV (Electronic Audiovisual Booklet) teaching materials on PPKn learning outcomes for class XI SMK students are proven by calculating the hypothesis with simple linear regression with a p-value of 0.001 <0.05.
