Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi polinomial sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kupang Timur dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan PPT interaktif pada materi polinomial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dilakukan dengan prosedur pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, serta refleksi. TeknikTeknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observes dan Tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta lembar tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan analisis datanya berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi siswa pada siklus I adalah 61,9% terlihat meningkat menjadi 80,95% pada siklus II. Sementara untuk hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh persentase 89,7% terlihat meningkat menjadi 92,5% pada siklus II dan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh persentase 84,06% meningkat menjadi 89,3% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi polinomial dengan berbantuan PPT interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kupang Timur

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis aplikasi android pada materi lingkaran untuk siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Kota Kupang yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan yakni valid, praktis dan efektif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket dan tes kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan software ispring suite pada materi lingkaran, telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan yaitu valid, praktis dan efektif. Rata-rata total kevalidan (RTV) yang diperoleh dari ahli media dan ahli materi yaitu 4,96 dan 4,93 dengan kategori valid. Kemudian hasil rata-rata total kepraktisan (RTP) oleh siswa pada kelas kecil yakni 4,51 dan kelas besar yakni 4,56, serta rata-rata kepraktiswan yang diperoleh dari respon guru pada kelas besar adalah 5. Ketiga skor tersebut masuk dalam kategori praktis. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan yang diperoleh pada ujicoba kelas kecil yaitu 87,5% sedangkan pada ujicoba kelas besar yaitu 82% dan masuk dalam kategori.

Abstract

The objective of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to assist elementary school teachers in creating innovative technology-based learning media using Assemblr Edu and Quizizz. The PKM was conducted at SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City with 30 participants, who were teachers from SDK Don Bosko 3 and SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City. The methods used in this activity include lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations, and practical exercises. The first module provided was training on 3D and Augmented Reality-based educational media using Assembler Edu. The second material covered was training on evaluation media using Quizizz paper mode. At the end of the PKM activity, 73.33% of participants were able to create 3D/AR-based learning media or Quizizz paper mode, 26.67% of participants could only create 3D/AR-based learning media, and no participants were unable to complete either or both types of learning media. These results indicate that the PKM activity was conducted successfully.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar penjumlahan danpengurangan bilangan bulat menggunakan alat peragakartu positifdannegatifpadasiswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi langsung. Kriteria ketuntasan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni jika ketuntasan siswa secara klasikal mencapai 80% dengan rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh ≥ 65, maka siklus penelitian dapat dihentikan dan dianggap berhasil. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukan adanya peningkatan persentase yakni 76,19% dengan rata-rata nilai 68,65. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90,48% dengan rata-rata nilai 80,55. Hal ini berarti ketuntasan belajar dalam kelas tersebut telahmencapai target yang ditetapkan.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwapenggunaankartu positif dan negatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat.

Abstract

Berpikir geometri adalah kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah geometri. Kemampuan siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika masih belum optimal dikarenakan guru cenderung memberikan soal hanya berkaitan dengan rumus matematika sehingga siswa hanya berpatokan pada penghafal rumus dan perhitungan matematika.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis level berpikir geometri menurut teori Van Hiele pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Kupang.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes dan pedoman wawancara.  Hasil tes menunjukan bahwa rata-rata pemahaman geometri siswa pada materi bangun datar berada pada level 0(visualisasi) dan level 1 (analisis).  Berdasarkan hasil tes dan wawancara diperoleh hasil ada 1 orang yang belum memenuhi level berpikir geometri Van Hiele,  ada 2 orang yang memenuhi level 0 (visualisasi),  3 orang yang memenuhi level 1 (analisis), dan ada 1 orang yang memenuhi level 2 (deduksi informal),  level 3 (deduksi),  dan level 4 (rigor).  Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam memahami materi geometri pada bangun datar maka diperlukan pengajaran berdasarkan level berpikir siswa,  sehingga mempermudah siswa dalam belajar.  Jadi siswa tidak hanya belajar menghafak melainkan langsung melihat kontekstual dari bangun-bangun tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the improvement of learning outcomes among Grade XI.C students of SMAN 1 Kupang through the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach using differentiated learning. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research sample consisted of 28 students from class XI.C. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes through the application of the Teaching at the Right Level approach. This was evidenced by the substantial increase in achievement across each cycle: during the pre-cycle, 17.71% of students achieved mastery, which rose to 42.85% in Cycle I, and further increased to 85.71% in Cycle II. Therefore, the Teaching at the Right Level approach through differentiated learning was proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education in the current era, especially in the field of Education in terms of teaching applied at school. The improvement of 21st century learning to improve learning outcomes, the ability to analyze, think critically, creatively and problem solving skills. This is seen with many teaching problems in the classroom, with the presence of e-module digitized learning can be an effective learning innovation. The purpose of this research is to support the progress of the learning process in advancing learning activities and student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. The target to be obtained is to produce a Canva-based digital e-module product. Thise-module discusses data presentation material. The use of this Canva application helps to design learning as a support for students' independent learning resources that are easily accessible. The research method used is research and development (RD). The focus in developing digital history teaching materials uses the ADDIE development model, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation using non-test methods in the form of questionnaires. The feasibility test was conducted by media experts, material experts, and students. The results showed sig. 0.02, which means that there is an effect of e-modules to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning.

Abstract

PKM activities for the community aim to help elementary school teachers develop culture and technology-based learning media as part of learning innovation. This PKM activity is a continuation of the PKM activities in 2024. The background for holding this PKM is that teachers can create culture-based mathematics learning media. However, the appearance of the learning media is still not attractive, so they need to be trained to develop culture-based learning media integrated with technology. The methods used in this activity are lecture, discussion, question and answer, demonstration, and practice. Participants in the activity were teachers at SD Inpres Adobala and SD Inpres Pepakkelu. Face-to-face PKM activities were conducted for 2 days at SD Inpres Adobala and 2 days online using the WhatsApp Group. PKM went well, and the evaluation results showed that 100% of teachers were able to develop learning media, LKPD, and evaluation media based on culture and technologyy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe preservice mathematics teacher knowledge of higher order thinking skills in terms of definition, Bloom's taxonomy level, curriculum, learning, and evaluation. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. and sample consisted of 248 preservice mathematics teachers in semesters VI - VIII of the Department of Mathematics Education, Nusa Cendana University, Timor University, and Wira Wacana Sumba University. The instrument used was a questionnaire about high order thinking skill (HOTS) which consisted of 105 statements. Data analysis used Likert's summeted rating, one sample test, Mann Whitney, Kruskall-Wallis tests, multiple linear regression test, and multivariate analyisis of variance (MANOVA) test. The results showed that the knowledge level of preservice mathematics teacher was in the good category. Based on gender differences, there was no significant difference in the average knowledge of preservice mathematics teacherabout HOTS, there was a significant difference in the average knowledge of preservice mathematics teacher about HOTS which is significant based on differences in academic ability and gender differences do not significantly affect knowledge about HOTS levels in Bloom's taxonomy, curriculum, and pedagogy while academic knowledge has a significant effect on HOTS knowledge of preservice teachers in almost all aspects except for pedagogy.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM activity is to help high school mathematics teachers in South Central Timor (TTS) to create PTK-based written work and be able to publish it. Meanwhile, the background for holding this PKM is because the majority of high school mathematics teachers have difficulty getting promoted because they are hampered by published scientific papers.The specific target to be achieved through PKM activities for the community (teachers) is to improve teachers' skills and abilities in creating and publishing PTK-based written work.The methods used in this activity are lecture, discussion, question and answer, demonstration, and practice. Providing material I, namely what is PTK, characteristics of PTK, systematics of written work based on PTK and how to make a good PTK. The second material is about the implementation of PTK writing which is stated through filling in a reflection form to find PTK problems. Next is the final material regarding the publication of Scientific Works. This activity went well and received a positive response from the activity participants
