Abstract

Online learning is learning that limits teachers and students to interact in conveying knowledge. The limitations of this interaction cause various kinds of obstacles in the implementation of learning. One of them is the low independence of student learning caused by the limited time to study, making it difficult for teachers to meet learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of learning motivation on student learning independence. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative to provide whether or not there is an influence between motivation and student learning independence. The research was conducted at SMK 2 Nurhasanah Medan with a sample of 30 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire with 20 statements each. The analysis used is univariate analysis and chi square test. The results showed that there was an influence between motivation on student learning independence.

Abstract

Pandangan ketiga tokoh utama wanita tentang emansipasi dalam novel Tiga Orang Perempuan ada yang mendukung dan ada yang kurang mendukung. Tokoh Ibu karena latar belakang pengalaman masa lalunya sewaktu dia kecil yang mendorong Ibu untuk mendukung sepenuhnya emansipasi wanita. Beliau tidak ingin mengalami apa yang dialami oleh ibunya yaitu Tokoh Nenek yang mendapat perlakuan tidak adil dari suaminya.Tokoh Gading mendukung emansipasi wanita dilatarbelakangi oleh lingkungan keluarga yang demokratis dan berwawasan modern serta pendidikan yang tinggi. Tokoh Nenek cenderung kurang mendukung karena latar belakang keluarganya yang mendidik sesuai nilai-nilai sosial yang berpedoman pada budaya dan adat Jawa yang dipengaruhi oleh sistem patriarkat. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan di atas Penulis menyarankan agar hasil analisis skripsi yang berjudul Pandangan Tiga Tokoh Wanita Tentang Emansipasi Dalam Novel Tiga Orang Perempuan Karya Maria A. Sardjono ini dapat digunakan oleh peneliti sastra yang lain untuk menganalisis dari segi sosiologi sastra atau segi ilmu sastra yang lain.

Abstract

Sastra bisa menghaluskan jiwa, karena sastra itu ungkapan jiwa. Melalui sastra manusia dapat mengungkapkan ekspresi kejiwaan baik dari diri sendiri maupun orang lain yang muncul dari perilaku tokohnya. Sastra selalu menarik perhatian karena mengungkapkan tentang segi-segi kehidupan manusia baik secara nyata maupun imajinatif. Meskipun gambaran kehidupan manusia yang terdapat dalam karya sastra bukanlah kehidupan manusia sesungguhnya, namun tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa apabila dibandingkan dengan bentuk-bentuk pengetahuan yang lainnya yang berhubungan dengan manusia salah satunya psikologis maka sastralah yang paling mendekati kehidupan manusia.

Abstract

The background of this research is the difficulty of Class XI students of SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua in writing procedure texts. Students feel that writing procedure text is a difficult activity because students are not skilled and do not have ideas to pour, then imagine into a written form. And also caused by teachers who are less creative in utilizing media or learning models. So that learning becomes passive and boring. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the blended learning model in writing procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua in the 2021-2022 academic year. The method in this research is a quasi-experimental/quasi-experiment to see the effect of a treatment. The population in this study were Istiqlal Deli Tua high school students, totaling 148 students with a total of 5 classes. The sample of this study was taken in class XI IPS1 which amounted to 25 people. Based on the results of research conducted that learning to write procedure text using the blended learning learning model is more successful than without using the learning model. The conclusion obtained from this study is that student learning outcomes before using the blended learning learning model obtained an average score of 59.8 and student learning outcomes using the blended learning learning model obtained an average score of 81.2. the percentage of the influence of learning using the blended learning learning model on writing procedure texts is 90%. This means that the students of class XI SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua in the 2021-2022 academic year are able to write procedure texts using the blended learning model, which are declared correct and acceptable.

Abstract

Many educators still use conventional teaching materials, namely teaching materials that are ready to use, just buy, instant, without the effort of planning, preparing, and compiling their own and less attracting children's attention in learning. So the image media is used as a development effort in learning Indonesian. This study aims to determine the quality of teaching materials based on the validation of material experts and media experts, to determine the attractiveness of teaching materials based on student responses, and to determine the average increase in student achievement based on pretest and posttest scores. This research was carried out at SDN 101938 Adolina, Perbaungan District, for the 2021-2022 academic year. This research is development research. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of SDN 101938 Adolina, Perbaungan District, for the academic year 2021-2022 with a total of 36 students. Data collection techniques used are tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the percentage and the average. The results of the overall quality of teaching materials are good with a percentage of 78%. The results of the attractiveness of teaching materials based on student responses in the limited trial obtained a percentage of 87% with a very interesting category, while in the large group trial a percentage of 85% was obtained with a very attractive category. The average value of the pretest is 6.09, while the average value of the posttest is 8.44, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the average student achievement.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how appropriate the teaching materials (Student Worksheet) in learning to write socially charged explanatory texts for class VI students are developed based on media experts, material experts, teachers and students?. The purpose of this study was to describe the feasibility of teaching materials (Student Worksheets) in learning to write socially charged explanatory texts for elementary/MI students. Class VI developed based on media experts, material experts, teachers and students. The research method used in this research is the research & development method. The research subject of this development product is the validator. The research subject of this development product is the validator. Assessment is done by filling out the validation sheet that has been provided, the validator in this study is the supervisor. In addition, the subjects of this research are sixth grade students of SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, Beringin District. The object of this research is the Student Worksheet in learning to write socially charged explanatory texts in class VI SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, Beringin District.

Abstract

Learning media has an influence in efforts to increase student learning achievement. The selection of traditional learning media has begun to shift to modern and up-to-date learning media that are more practical, attractive, interesting, creative and innovative. This research was conducted to produce the development of writing materials and learning media for Indonesian language learning using Microsoft PowerPoint for class VII semester 2 students of SMP Negeri 2 Pegajahan. This type of development research data is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The research uses the research and development (R&D) model of Borg and Gall. The purpose of this study is the compilation of a learning media product as an effort to develop writing materials. In connection with this goal, the researcher uses seven steps in developing learning media, namely analyzing the needs of teachers and students, product development with Microsoft PowerPoint, validation of media experts and material experts and language teachers Indonesia, the first phase of revision, field trials, and finally the final revision. The quality of learning media products can be known through the average obtained from the validation results from Indonesian language teachers of 95%. The average percentage of the assessment results is 87.18% with a very good category. In addition, the quality of development products can also be known through the results of excellent student feedback. The product of this research is learning materials and media designed for class VII SMP in the second semester. This product contains eight Competency Standards which are translated into seventeen Basic Competencies and contained in twelve lessons. The twelve lessons are structured and integrated with one main menu. Each media unit is arranged systematically including apperception, competency standards and basic competencies, indicators, materials, sample questions and competency tests in which there are various media that are arranged simultaneously including text, audio recordings, videos and animations. The results of this study are very relevant to the 2013 curriculum because it is in accordance with the standards of the interactive, inspiring, fun, creative, challenging and motivating learning process for students. Further research is needed to determine the effectiveness and influence of the use of this media on student achievement.

Abstract

The low interest and talent of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang Subdistrict, Medan City, for the 2021-2022 academic year in writing activities is caused by the absence of creativity made by educators in teaching students. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an innovative learning model that can make students more active in the process of learning to write. The learning model to be developed in this research is a collaborative learning model. The collaborative learning model is one of the "Student-Centered Learning" (SCL) models. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the use of collaborative learning models in improving the writing skills of fifth graders at SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang Subdistrict, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research method used in this research is the research & development method. The research subject of this development product is the validator. The object of research in this study is a writing learning model, namely a collaborative learning model that is implemented in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year. The instrument used to obtain research data using non-test instruments and test instruments. The results of this study indicate that the collaborative learning model is effective in improving the skills of writing descriptive text by fifth grade students of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year, where before the process of developing the collaborative learning model was in the sufficient category and then increased to good after the process of developing cooperative learning models in class V of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City, for the academic year 2021-2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran psikologis tokoh-tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel Salah Asuhan karya Abdoel Moeis. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Salah Asuhan karya Abdoel Moeis yang berjumlah 262 halaman, penerbit Balai Pustaka, Jakarta 2002 cetakan ke-31. Adapun data penelitian ini adalah empat tokoh novel Salah Asuhan karya Abdoel Moeis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan data analisis kualitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan unsur psikologis, berupa gambaran psikologis tokoh dalam novel Salah Asuhan karya Abdoel Moeis. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah masalah psikologis novel Salah Asuhan karya Abdoel Moeis. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian data diperoleh gambaran psikologis sebagai berikut: Hanafi merupakan orang timur yang tidak terlepas dari adab adat istiadat dan agama walaupun sejak kecil sudah bergaul dengan orang barat sehingga itulah yang menyebabkan dirinya bertentangan dengan aturan timur dan menjadikan sikapnya sombong, pemarah, bimbang, keras kepala, dan egois dalam mengambil keputusan, Corrie du Busse merupakan orang barat yang berpikiran secara realistis sehingga mempunyai sifat mawas diri, sombong, keras kepala, dan berterus-terang, Ibu mempunyai sifat sabar, bijak, berusaha, dan cemas serta Rapiah mempunyai sifat sabar, tahu diri, setia, dan percaya.

Abstract

This study analyzed the acquisition of Indonesian in the first and second languages of children aged 5-6 years in Paud Gendis, Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia. The problem discussed in this study is that there is a student at PAUD Gendis who is aged from 5-6 years old who still uses the first language in interacting and communicating with his friends and teachers. This can refer to several factors that make children still use their first language so that children have difficulty in learning the acquisition of their second language. The object of study is the field of phonology. The data presentation technique carried out, the researcher used a descriptive pattern. Researchers used a diary of how children speak in interacting with their teachers or friends and used video tape as a substitute for notebooks. Next is to take each utterance and describe the context. This research was conducted using a method of listening to the use of language. The basic technique of this method is in the form of tapping technique and is followed by advanced techniques in the form of free listening and note-taking techniques. As a result of the analysis of the 16 children, there were 7 children who made a lot of laryngal or hamzah sounds in sentences ending in the vowels /a/, /i/, and /u/. not only that, there were 7 children who experienced phonological changes resulting in sound changes such as the phoneme /r/ to /l/, /d/ to /t/ and /n/ to /m/. in this case, 7 children who are already 5-6 years old are classified as unnatural, because the child's age can already obtain a second language or be perfect in the mention and sound of the language used by the child. This greatly makes the child later have difficulty in speaking opponents because it is still difficult to understand the meaning of the child's language.
