Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the graphic design and digital marketing skills of members of UMKM Rezki Berkah Sehati in West Sumatra. Through Canva application training, participants are expected to create more attractive and effective promotional materials and strengthen their products' visual identity. In addition to the training, the Pusat Studi Pengembangan Nagari (PSPN) of Universitas Dharma Andalas also facilitated the UMKM to showcase their products through a booth at a mini UMKM bazaar. The results of this training showed a significant improvement in graphic design understanding, as well as the use of social media for product promotion. Despite some challenges related to the limited time for intensive mentoring, this activity successfully enhanced the competitiveness of UMKM and opened broader market opportunities. Moving forward, the development of training materials and the expansion of collaboration with various stakeholders will further strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in West Sumatra.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate how the current ratio and debt ratio influence the profitability of retail trade sub-sector firms that are publicly listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2018 to 2022. The research utilises quantitative methods and correlation research, with a sample size of 22 companies and 110 annual financial reports. The data gathering process involves purposive sampling, while the analysis includes descriptive tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R²), and hypothesis testing. According to the research findings, it is indicated that the current ratio has a certain impact on profitability with a significance value of 0.002<0.05. Additionally, the debt ratio has a partial effect on profitability with a significance value of 0.000<0.05. At the same time, both the current ratio and debt ratio collectively affect profitability with an f value of 19.271>3.12 and a significance value of 0.000. The combined influence of the current ratio and debt ratio on profitability is estimated to be 34.9%.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas petani strawberry lokal di Landia Farm, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat, dalam membangun branding produk yang kuat guna meningkatkan daya saing di pasar lokal maupun global. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif berbasis masyarakat, kegiatan ini melibatkan pelatihan, praktik, dan pendampingan intensif terkait strategi branding, desain kemasan, diversifikasi produk, dan pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya branding, menghasilkan desain kemasan yang menarik, dan mengoptimalkan media sosial untuk promosi. Implementasi strategi branding yang diajarkan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan penjualan, pendapatan, dan nilai tambah produk strawberry lokal. Selain dampak ekonomi, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam memasarkan produk mereka. Keberhasilan PKM ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan branding produk lokal sebagai strategi untuk mendukung perekonomian lokal dan membangun kemandirian komunitas, yang dapat dijadikan model bagi pengembangan masyarakat di daerah lain.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to Strengthen the Economic Resilience of the Community. In this study, the method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The type of data used is primary data. The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The informants in this study were ten (10) people, namely people who have Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Nagari Tanjung Bingkung. In business development, there are many ways that can be done by business actors in Nagari Tanjung Bingkung such as development through social media, development by being delivered to collectors, and there are also those delivered to shops and markets. Carrying out online promotions is a method that is widely used by business actors in Tanjung Bingkung. The results of this study indicate that in strengthening economic resilience, the people of Nagari Tanjung Bingkung have opened Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with marketing that has reached various regions and traditional markets. Most of those who open Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are housewives, because by doing so they can improve the family economy.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how communication and job satisfaction impact work effectiveness at the Solok Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Industry and Trade (DKUKMPP) Service. A total of 67 respondents participated in the research, which utilised quantitative methods for analysis. The statistical analysis revealed that communication has a significant influence on work effectiveness, as evidenced by the t test results (tvalue 4.536 > ttable 1.998, significance level 0.000 < 0.05). This suggests that effective communication plays a crucial role in enhancing work effectiveness. Furthermore, the study concluded that job satisfaction also has a significant impact on work effectiveness, based on the statistical analysis findings.  The t-test confirmed that the value of tvalue 4.018 is greater than ttable 1.998, indicating that Job Satisfaction has a significant impact on Work Effectiveness. Furthermore, it was found that both Communication and Job Satisfaction together have a significant effect on Work Effectiveness within the Solok Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Industry and Trade (DKUKMPP) Service. This was demonstrated through the use of the F test, where the fvalue of 76.332 exceeded the ftable value of 3.14, with a resulting significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the threshold of 0.05. The R Square value of 0.705, representing 70.5%, suggests that Job Satisfaction and Communication explain a significant portion of Work Effectiveness, with 29.5% of the influence coming from other variables not accounted for in the study.

Abstract

Untuk menunjang perkembangan sebuah usaha, kualitas dari sumber daya manusia yang baik akan berguna dalam membentuk karakter individu yang memiliki kemampuan dan motivasi dalam menjalankan aktifitas dari usaha yang dijalani. Serta, seorang pengusaha dituntut untuk selalu melakukan inovasi pada produknya. Hal ini berfungsi sebagai bagian dari strategi pemasaran untuk menarik banyak pelanggan sehingga akan dapat bertahan ditengah perkembangan dunia usaha pada masa kini. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas sumber daya manusia dan inovasi produk terhadap perkembangan UMKM di Kota Solok. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kausalitas. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh responden. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di 22 UMKM industri kerupuk dan sejenisnya yang ada di Kota Solok yang berjumlah 95 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Sehingga, jumlah sampel yang akan digunakan berjumlah 95 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji instrumen penelitian, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kualitas sumber daya manusia serta inovasi produk berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap perkembangan UMKM. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui startegi Inovasi  dan Kreativitas  dalam meningkatkan Kepuasan Konsumen . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan data primer populasi 35 orang, dengan Accidental sampling, menggunakan sampel sebanak 35 orang aitu warga atau masarakat ang membeli produk kue Qiara Cake Cupak ang mana jumlah populasina tidak bisa ditentukan ang ada hana jumlah rata-rata konsumen dengan 7 konsumen per hari. Teknik analisis regresi berganda linier menunjukkan bahwa variabel Inovasi  dan Kreativitas  berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen .  Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen Inovasi  dan Kreativitas  memiliki pengaruh sebesar 39,4% sedangkan sisana sebesar 60,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain ang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian. Uji t menunjukkan bahwa Inovasi  tidak berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap variabel dependen Kepuasan Konsumen Sedangkan variabel Kreativitas  berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap variabel Kepuasan Konsumen. Inovasi dan Kreativitas  secara simultan atau bersama-sama berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap variabel Kepuasan. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of family environment, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of XXX University in Padang City. The population used in this study were active students of FEB of XXX University in Padang City in the 2020 and 2021 academic years, totaling 384 people. The non-probability sampling technique was used for sample selection, and sampling was carried out using the Rao soft Sample Size Calculator Software Technique so that a sample of 102 respondents was obtained. The results of research and data analysis show that entrepreneurial motivation is the most influential variable on entrepreneurial interest, with a beta value of 0.496. This indicates that students who have high entrepreneurial motivation tend to have greater entrepreneurial interest. However, family environment and entrepreneurial knowledge also have a significant influence on student entrepreneurial interest, although not as strong as entrepreneurial motivation.

Abstract

The study took place at PERUMDA Pincuran Gadang Drinking Water in Solok City with the aim of investigating the influence of work motivation and discipline on employee performance. The research involved 89 employees from the company, selected using the Total Sampling method. Data was collected through questionnaires and analysis revealed that both work motivation and discipline have an impact on employee performance. The multiple linear regression analysis yielded the formulation Y = 10.074 + 0.353X? + 0.409X? + e. The coefficient of determination elucidates that 52% of the fluctuation in Employee Performance (Y) can be ascribed to the influence of Work Motivation (X?) and Work Discipline (X?), whereas the residual 48% is attributable to extraneous variables beyond the purview of this inquiry. Findings from the t-test evince that both Work Motivation and Work Discipline, when considered in isolation, exert a statistically significant and favorable bearing on Employee Performance, as evidenced by t-statistic values surpassing their respective critical thresholds. Furthermore, the F-test substantiates that, in concert, Work Motivation and Work Discipline wield a consequential and substantive impact on Employee Performance, underscored by the F-statistic value (41.110) exceeding the F-table value (3.12) and a significance probability markedly inferior to the 0.05 criterion (0.000).
