Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada kurikulum 2013 menggunakan teks atau wacana. Teks digunakan untuk keterampilan menulis dan membaca, sedangkan wacana digunakan untuk keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara. Salah satu keterampilan yang sulit dikuasai peserta didik yaitu keterampilan menulis khususnya menulis ringkasan isi cerita. Kemampuan menulis ringkasan isi cerita kelas V MIN 1 Pesisir Selatan belum mencapai KKM. Peserta didik belum mampu menentukan gagasan utama, penempatan ejaan, penggunaan tanda baca dan mengurutkan gagasan pokok pikiran tiap paragraf. Dari permasalahan diatas, peneliti menerapkan model yang sesuai karakteristik peserta didik yaitu model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Model CIRC ini merupakan model yang komprehensif dalam membaca dan menulis pada kelas tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Siklus I menunjukkan hasil rata-rata nilai peserta didik 68,61 dengan persentase ketuntasan 44,44%. Pada siklus II menunjukkan hasil rata-rata nilai peserta didik 81,94 dengan persentase ketuntasan 83,33%.

Keluarga harmonis merupakan suatu keadaaan dalam sebuah rumah yang memberikan ketenangan, kebahagian dan menerima seluruh keberadaan dirinya. Keluarga tanpa adanya kehadiran seorang anak juga akan membuat suasana rumah tangga menjadi sunyi, peristiwa hari ini adalah banyak anak brokenhome yang tidak mampu untuk menerima dirinya, tidak percaya diri, dan berprilaku menyimpang dikarenakan konflik yang terjadi dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis pada siswa broken home dengan menggunakan group positive psychotherapy. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen Quasi eksperimen Pre-test post-test control group. Subjek penelitiannya 14 orang siswa SMP usia 12-15 tahun. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang memiliki skor rendah pada skala kesejahteraan psikologis. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis parametrik uji-t sampel paired, untuk melihat perbedaan kesejahteraan psikologis pada kelompok eksperimen setelah diberikan intervensi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan alat ukur Scale Psychological Well Being (SPWB). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan ada perbedaan kesejahteraan psikologis setelah diberikan intervensi, yaitu dengan nilai sig-(2tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa group positive psychoterapy dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa broken home.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik yang belajar dengan metode speed reading di kelas V SDN 21 Limau Sundai. Dalam pembelajaran membaca masih terdapat keterampilan membaca pemahaman yang tergolong rendah. Berdasarkan penelitian relevan permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan perbaikan menggunakan penerapan metode speed reading. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan melihat perbedaan signifikan antara keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik yang menggunakan metode speed reading dengan membaca nyaring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji ―t‖ dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS diperoleh signifikan α < 0,05 yaitu 0,005 ttabel yaitu 2,942 > 2,009, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik yang menggunakan metode speed reading dengan membaca nyaring dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman. Dari hasil ini diharapkan pendidik dapat menggunakan metode speed reading sebagai alternatif metode pembelajaran membaca.

The purpose of the study was to determine the utilization of video learning media in thematic books theme 1 subtheme 1 at the SD / MI level. This type of research uses library research. The research data sources are journals and thematic books on “Growth and Development of Living Things” Class III SD, and using books and journals relevant to this research. The data collection technique used is documentation. Then the data is processed through data collection, reduction, interpreting and analyzing the data. The results of this study reveal about the utilization of video learning media educators explain thematic learning material first, then learning activities are continued with educators inviting students to actively participate in learning through questions and answers related to thematic learning material, after which educators play video learning media. The learning media used must have their own advantages and disadvantages, as well as video media. In viewing the video cannot stand alone, this video media requires supporting tools such as LCD to project images and active speakers to display sound to be heard clearly.

This research was motivated by students' low understanding of concepts, especially in mathematics learning. One of the reasons for the low understanding of students is the lack of use of learning media in the learning process and educators not using alternative media such as learning video media. Learning video media is an alternative that can be used to attract students' attention to learning. The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of using learning video media on understanding mathematical concepts in fourth grade students at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School, Padang. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. This research design is a static two group design. The population used was class IV of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang using purposive sampling techniques for sampling. The selected sample consisted of two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The data for this research are the scores for understanding mathematical concepts in fourth grade students at Khaira Ummah Padang Islamic Elementary School using and without using learning video media. The instrument of this research is a test. The analytical requirements tests carried out are the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this research can be seen from the average score for understanding mathematical concepts without using learning video media for class IV Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang, namely 78.70. The average score for understanding mathematical concepts using learning video media for class IV Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang is 91.05. Based on the t-test, the results of this tcount are compared with ttable at degrees of freedom (dk) = (n-2) at the 95% significance level. Tcount > Ttable (5.5>1.71) then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the understanding of mathematical concepts of fourth grade students at Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang using video learning media is higher than without using video learning media.

This study aims to analyze how the application of the Discovery Learning Model in improving students' critical thinking skills in thematic learning in SD/MI. The research method used is library research with the type of research, namely qualitative research, which uses journal articles as the main object. The data sources used in this research are 8 (eight) journal articles about the application of the Discovery Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in thematic learning in SD/MI. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Content analysis method. The results of the analysis of 8 (eight) journal articles on the application of the Discovery learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills in thematic learning in SD/MI found an increase in students' critical thinking skills in thematic learning in SD/MI after the implementation of the Discovery learning model. This happens because at the time of applying the steps of the Discovery learning model there are indicators of critical thinking skills put forward by Ennis, namely providing simple explanations that occur during problem statement activities, Building basic skills occurs during date collaction activities, giving action occurs during activity date processing, concludes that it occurs during verification activities, and finally, has confidence that occurs during generalization activities. As well as being a reference for learning models for teachers to improve students' critical thinking skills in thematic learning in SD/MI, even more so on the subject matter of natural science and Mathematics besides that the Discovery learning model is highly recommended to be applied in high grade IV (four), because in the application of the Discovery learning model in grade IV (four) get very good results in improving students' critical thinking skills in elementary/MI thematic lessons.

The large number of cases of sexual violence that occur against children require special attention, especially from parents. The role of parents is to provide children with knowledge from an early age regarding sexual violence in accordance with their development. This article serves as a guide and increases knowledge for readers about the importance of the role of parents in preventing cases of sexual violence in early childhood. With the literature review method using sources from various research results that have been carried out. Establishing effective communication between children and parents is one way for parents to provide knowledge to prevent sexual violence against children. The purpose of writing this research to determine the effect of pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading skills at SD IT. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class III A and III B as many 46 students. Sampling was carried out using the Saturated Sampling technique, the class selected as the experimental class was III A and the control class was III B. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS.The results showed that the average post-test score for the experimental class was 88.38%. Based on the hypothesis test with SPSS obtained a significant in two sides (2-tailed) of = 0.000, it can be concluded that (0.000 <0.05). Therefore, it can be said that H0 which reads that there is no effect of using pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading ability is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of using pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading ability at SD IT.

Abstract The research was motivated by the results of the writing skills at SDN Solok Regency are still low, found from 27 students as many as 8 students with a percentage of 29.63% reached the KKM and as many as 19 students with a percentage of 70.37% did not reach the KKM. This low skill is caused by educators not providing enough writing training, especially writing narrative essays. The purpose of this study was to improve students' narrative essay writing skills. This research is a field research with the type of research Pre-Experimental Design form One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The data collection techniques and instruments used were tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the post-test score was greater than the pre-test score (79 > 49), obtained t_hitung 26.446 > t_table 2.0555 and Sig. 0.001 < 0.05. This shows that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Melmbaca pelmahaman melrupakan keltelrampillan pelntilng yang melmpelngaruhil prelstasil bellajar silswa dil belrbagail mata pellajaran. Pelnelliltilan ilnil melnggunakan meltodel pelnelliltilan kualiltatilf delngan pelndelkatan studil kasus. Pelnelliltilan ilnil belrfokus pada analilsils kelmampuan melmbaca silswa kellas IlV SD Nelgelril 32 Muaro Putuilh dan melnggunakan telknilk wawancara, obselrvasil, dan dokumelntasil untuk melngumpulkan data. Hasill pelnelliltilan melnunjukkan bahwa kelmampuan melmbaca pelmahaman silswa belrvarilasil delngan selbagilan belsar silswa belrada pada katelgoril bailk. Melskilpun delmilkilan, silswa melnghadapil seljumlah tantangan, telrmasuk keltildakmampuan untuk melmahamil konselp utama dan pelndapat, kelsuliltan melnjawab pelrtanyaan melngapa dan bagailmana, dan aktilviltas melmbaca yang bellum maksilmal. Belrdasarkan telmuan ilnil, dilsarankan agar guru melnilngkatkan telknilk pelngajaran melmbaca yang ilntelraktilf dan melndukung pelnilngkatan milnat baca silswa. Sellailn iltu, partilsilpasil orang tua dalam kelgilatan melmbaca dil rumah juga dilanjurkan untuk melndukung pelrkelmbangan kelmampuan melmbaca pelmahaman silswa.
