Abstract

Pendidikan akan selalu menjadi sesuatu yang penting bagi setiap orang. Ia adalah tanda kemajuan atau kemunduran suatu bangsa. Sejarah telah mencatat bahwa peradaban yang maju adalah peradaban yang memperhatikan aspek pendidikan masyarakatnya. Jatuh bangunnya peradaban besar juga berawal dari kurangnya dukungan dan dorongan terhadap dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter belum sepenuhnya dijadikan acuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pendidikan di negeri ini. Karena hanya menitikberatkan pada nilai dan norma kemanusiaan. Hanya mencetak manusia yang tahu yang baik (knowing the good), mencintai yang baik (loving the good), dan berbuat baik (doing the good) kepada sesama makhluk, namun minim akan kesatuan kesalehan dan ketuhanan. Dengan demikian, pendidikan moral dapat dikatakan juga sebagai pendidikan Islam (ta'dib). Telaah lebih dalam terhadap konsep-konsep akhlak yang telah dirumuskan oleh para tokoh pendidikan Islam terdahulu seperti Ibnu Miskawaih dan Al-Ghazali di atas, menunjukkan bahwa tujuan akhir pendidikan akhlak adalah terbentuknya peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia, yang tidak lain adalah penjelmaan sifat-sifat luhur Tuhan dalam kehidupan manusia sesuai dengan fitrahnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pedagogical and professional competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers on the effectiveness of religious learning management at MAN 2 Model Medan. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 PAI teachers at MAN 2 Model Medan, covering aspects of pedagogical competence, professionalism, and the effectiveness of learning management. The results show that both pedagogical and professional competence of PAI teachers have a significant impact on the effectiveness of religious learning management. Teachers with strong pedagogical competence are able to create more effective teaching strategies, while their professionalism supports the overall success of the learning process. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the school continue to enhance the training and development of PAI teachers’ competencies to improve the quality of religious learning management at the school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMA Swasta Brigjend Katamso Medan. The Merdeka Curriculum is the latest policy from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, designed to provide flexibility for educators in designing learning that is more adaptive to the needs of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, direct observation of the learning process, and analysis of curriculum documents and lesson plans. The findings show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Swasta Brigjend Katamso Medan has been carried out effectively, although it still faces several challenges, such as limited resources and varying levels of understanding among the teachers. The Merdeka Curriculum allows PAI teachers to develop more interactive learning based on student needs, but further training and guidance for educators are required. The study also found that although the learning process is more flexible, periodic evaluation of the effectiveness of this new curriculum is still needed to optimize student competency achievement. In conclusion, while the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Swasta Brigjend Katamso Medan has been successful, there is a need to strengthen teachers' competencies and understanding in managing the curriculum for better optimization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari upaya guru tahfidz dalam meningkatkan hafalan para santri guna mencapai target hafalan yang disesuaikan oleh madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode guru tahfidz dalam meningkatkan kualitas hafalan santri dan target hafalan Al-Qur’an di Pertubuhan kebajikan Al-Muhibbin Melaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode guru tahfidz dalam meningkatkan kualitas hafalan santri efektif dilakukan, dikarenakan santri mampu membaca Al-Qur’an dengan lancar serta hafalan yang kuat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode guru tahfidz di Al-Muhibbin mampu meningkatkan hafalan para santri, meskipun tidak sepenuhnya namun metode-metode tersebut tetap terlaksana dengan baik dan santri mengikuti dengan khidmat serta semangat yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of tolerance values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPT SD Negeri 03 Lubuk Cuik. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of religious tolerance values ​​is carried out in an integrated manner in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Islamic Religious Education teachers use a contextual approach and discussion methods, case studies, and value reflections to internalize attitudes of respecting differences, empathy, and peaceful coexistence. Material on commendable morals, stories of the prophets, and students' social experiences are used as a means to develop understanding and awareness of the importance of tolerance. The main supporting factors in this implementation are teacher commitment, principal support, and a school environment that is open to diversity. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include time constraints, lack of teacher training on multicultural education, and parents' perceptions that are still less open to differences. The implications of the results of this study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers need to continue to be encouraged to use active and contextual learning methods so that the values ​​of tolerance are easier for students to understand and internalize.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of fiqh teachers in the independent learning curriculum learning process in fiqh subjects in class X of Madrasah Aliyah Miftahussalam Medan. (a) The independent learning curriculum emphasizes flexible, contextual learning, and is oriented towards developing students' competencies as a whole. In fiqh subjects, learning strategies focus on strengthening the understanding of fiqh concepts that can be applied in everyday life, as well as developing students' critical thinking skills and character. This study found that the application of project-based learning, discussion, and the use of technology are effective methods in exploring fiqh material. In addition, continuous and competency-based evaluation is also an important aspect in monitoring student development. (b) This study was conducted using a qualitative method, with a field study approach. (c) The results of this study are expected to provide important insights for educators in developing more relevant learning strategies according to the needs of students in facing the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen pendidikan berbasis digital di MAS Tarbiyah Islamiyah, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Digitalisasi di sini mencakup penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam aspek administrasi, pengelolaan data, dan pembelajaran di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan staf administrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen pendidikan berbasis digital di sekolah ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, seperti pengolahan data siswa dan keuangan yang lebih cepat dan akurat berkat TIK. Digitalisasi dalam pembelajaran juga meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dan akses ke materi, sementara guru merasa terbantu dalam penyusunan rencana pelajaran dan evaluasi hasil belajar yang lebih terstruktur. Tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, ketidakmerataan akses internet, dan perangkat keras yang terbatas masih menghambat optimalisasi digitalisasi. Kompetensi digital pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan juga perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendukung penerapan digitalisasi yang lebih optimal. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan infrastruktur, pelatihan digital, serta kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung digitalisasi sebagai upaya menjadikan MAS Tarbiyah Islamiyah sebagai model manajemen pendidikan berbasis digital bagi sekolah-sekolah lain.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, memahami literasi keuangan Syariah agar mampu mengelola keuangan sesuai prinsip Islam. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman literasi keuangan Syariah di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan jumlah sampel 123 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi keuangan Syariah pada aspek pengetahuan dan pemahaman berada pada kategori “cukup baik” dengan persentase 58,19%. Sementara itu, pada aspek keterampilan dan sikap, hasilnya juga termasuk kategori “cukup baik” dengan persentase 59,24%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun siswa memiliki pemahaman dasar, diperlukan penguatan materi dan praktik agar mereka lebih siap menerapkan prinsip keuangan Syariah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan antara lain mengintegrasikan literasi keuangan Syariah dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi, serta menyelenggarakan program literasi melalui kegiatan seminar atau workshop, Mengundang praktisi dan akademisi di bidang keuangan Syariah juga menjadi strategi efektif untuk memberikan wawasan praktis dan memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap pengelolaan keuangan sesuai prinsip Syariah.Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of the community, especially the younger generation, to understand Sharia financial literacy in order to be able to manage finances according to Islamic principles. The purpose of the research is to find out the level of understanding of Sharia financial literacy in Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The research used data collection methods through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation with a sample of 123 people. The results showed that the level of Sharia financial literacy in the aspect of knowledge and understanding was in the "quite good" category with a percentage of 58.19%. Meanwhile, in terms of skills and attitudes, the results are also in the "quite good" category with a percentage of 59.24%. These findings indicate that even though students have a basic understanding, it is necessary to strengthen materials and practices so that they are better prepared to apply Sharia financial principles in their daily lives, Efforts that can be made include integrating Sharia financial literacy in economics subjects, as well as organizing literacy programs through seminars or workshops. Inviting practitioners and academics in the field of Sharia finance is also an effective strategy to provide practical insights and strengthen students' understanding of financial management according to Sharia principles.

Abstract

Islamic education is not only oriented towards achieving cognitive aspects, but also emphasizes the formation of noble character as the main foundation of the challenges of globalization and technological developments that often influence the behavior of the younger generation, so that strengthening morals becomes a necessity. This study aims to describe and analyze the strengthening of noble character of students through the application of Islamic education concepts at MTs Tahfidz Terpadu Anbata Medan. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification to obtain valid conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the application of the concept of Islamic education at MTs Tahfidz Terpadu Anbata Medan plays a significant role in forming and strengthening noble character of students. Strengthening morals is reflected through respectful attitudes towards teachers, such as getting used to greeting, smiling, and greeting, listening carefully when the teacher speaks, respecting the teacher's opinion, and following the directions given. In addition, students also show an attitude of mutual respect and respect for differences between friends. This finding confirms that Islamic education implemented in an integrated manner can be an effective instrument in building Islamic character and harmonizing social relations in the school environment.
