Abstract

Many mathematics pre-service teachers face obstacles in understanding basic differential calculus concepts, which could affect their teaching abilities. A deep understanding of learning obstacles and developing relevant learning strategies is necessary to address this issue. This research aims to identify learning obstacles experienced by mathematics pre-service teachers in differential calculus and evaluate the effectiveness of an e-didactics design based on TPACK in overcoming those obstacles. The research method is Design-Based Research (DBR) with the Plomp development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, evaluation, and revision. The subjects involve 39 mathematics pre-service teachers from Mathla’ul Anwar University and La Tanza Mashiro University, Banten, Indonesia. Research instruments include pretest, post-test, validation, and effectiveness questionnaires with data analysis covering walkthrough, documents, triangulation, instruments, and qualitative analysis. The finding identifies three types of learning obstacles: ontogenic, epistemological, and didactical. The improvement in learning outcomes demonstrates the effectiveness of the e-didactics design: 52% in real number systems and functions, 74% in limits, 88% in derivatives, and 65% in the application of derivatives. The effectiveness survey recorded a score of 83%, indicating that the e-didactics design of differential calculus based on TPACK effectively addresses learning obstacles.

Abstract

Metal contamination in food is very risky for health, especially if it occurs in the long term. The main problem in this Community Service is the presence of metal mixed in flour which is used as the main ingredient of local Bumi Pangan UMKM food which has an impact on food quality and safety. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide knowledge of the dangers of metals in food ingredients that are a source of long-term diseases such as iron, stainless, aluminum and copper. The tool developed in this Community Service is to detect metal particles in food ingredients such as flour, sugar and others. This tool will function to detect metal particles found in food ingredients using a metal detector sensor. This tool is also equipped with IOT which functions to provide information whether food ingredients contain dangerous metals that are connected to the user's cellphone, in addition to this metal detector also has a magnet with a pulling force of 12,000 Gauss which aims to attract dangerous metal particles. The results of using this metal detector are that UMKM are aware of the dangers of metals and can separate metals from commonly used food ingredients. UMKM products can be marketed across districts through social media platforms such as Facebook and the Radar Banten e-news platform.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks are technologies that make it possible to observe phenomena. The problem is data delays in covering the distance from the origin to the destination. Packet Loss is a condition that shows the number of lost packets and the total queue length caused by data processing time. This research aims to develop a cluster-based protocol. This research uses a multichannel hierarchical clustering method and adds odd-even by dividing the network into several channels and forming a cluster head for each channel. The results of this research are Channel 1 with a throughput value of 1.88, channel 2 with a throughput value of 21.68, channel 3 with a throughput value of 1.62, and channel 4 with a throughput value of 42.44. The conclusion of this study is that the throughput results are smaller compared to the Multi-Channel Clustering H ierarchy method, because not all nodes are active
