Abstract

The Community members have become vulnerable to division, particularly due to the polarization of their election choices. Whether economic, social, or political, campaign promises fuel this polarization. Revitalized Pancasila and the pillars of nationality can to restore the dignity of the Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia and prevent its fragmentation. The dissemination of Pancasila ideological values and the pillars of nationality is an agenda that can provide an explicit understanding of the homogenization of national and state life ethics. This activity aims to assess the influence of the socialization of the Pancasila ideology and the values of the pillars of nationality on social dynamics after the 2024 election. The results indicate that while respondent recognizes these values as noble and should implement them, they solely base their implementation on religious mu’amalah. This means that if a member of society has low religious knowledge, the potential for violating the ethics and ideological values of Pancasila and its national pillars is also quite high. Therefore, to lessen the threat of post-election division, an understanding of national insight, which encompasses the values of the Pancasila as ideology and the pillars of nationality, must accompany an understanding of religion.

Abstract

Limited land is the main challenge in aquaculture activities at the Bangkit Menuju Sukses fish farming group (Pokdakan) in Antasan Kecil Timur Village, Banjarmasin City. So far, many Pokdakans have only been able to utilize limited space for fish farming, at the same time program plans to grow vegetables are hampered by the lack of available land, the lack of farming skills, and the absence of training are obstacles in product development. The aquaponics system is an innovative solution that integrates fish and plant farming into a single integrated ecosystem. The purpose of this activity is to design an aquaponic system in Pokdakan Bangkit Menuju Sukses, to enhance skills in cultivating both fish and plants. The method used in this activity is the delivery of material, the practice of making installations, and filling out questionnaires by answering pre-test, post-test, and affective questionnaires. The results obtained in this activity are the increased understanding of residents about aquaponic technology installed aquaponic system installations. Participants responded positively to the activity and hoped that community service activities could be sustainable.

Abstract

Vegetable plants on marginal land typologies require increased nutritional intake from organic and inorganic materials to enhance their growth. In addition, the enrichment of mutualistic microbial diversity plays a significant role in the absorption of these nutrients. However, not all cultivators know how to increase land productivity and crop yields; therefore, the activity of processing liquid fertiliser containing photosynthetic bacteria was held with the aim of training the residents of Belayung Baru Village in making liquid fertiliser from photosynthetic bacteria, so that it is hoped that it can change the behaviour of residents in applying organic materials in a correct and appropriate way. The method used in this activity was outreach containing socialisation and demonstrations, which were carried out on October 22, 2023, involving 33 residents of Belayung Baru Village, supported by an implementation team consisting of 7 lecturers and 5 students. This activity resulted in increased knowledge and skills of the assisted subjects regarding the processing of liquid organic fertiliser containing photosynthetic bacteria and its impact when applied to plants.

Abstract

RI Tujuan penelitian untuk menilai pengaruh aplikasi limbah padat karet remah yang dikombinasi dengan Calsium Ammonium Nitrat pada tanah mineral Podsolik Merah Kuning (PMK) terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kehijauan daun, jumlah tongkol per tanaman dan berat tongkol per tanaman Jagung Manis. Penelitian menggunakan eksperimental dengan desain percobaan rancangan acak lengkap 5 perlakuan, 4 ulangan, 20 satuan percobaan dan analisis statistik BNT  5%. Perlakuan tersebut yakni, Cr1 : Tanah PMK 10 kg dengan aplikasi 100 g LPKR tanpa penambahan 18 g Calsium Ammonium Nitrat (CAN), PCr0 : Tanah PMK 10 kg dengan aplikasi 18 g CAN, tanpa limbah padat karet remah, PCr1 : Tanah PMK 10 kg dengan aplikasi 18 g CAN dan 100 g LPKR per polibag, PCr2 : Tanah PMK 10 kg dengan aplikasi 18 g CAN dan 200 g LPKR per polibag, PCr3 : Tanah PMK 10 kg dengan aplikasi 18 g CAN dan 300 g LPKR per polibag. Hasil: terdapat pengaruh dari aplikasi limbah padat karet remah yang diaplikasikan pada tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kehijauan daun, jumlah tongkol per tanaman dan berat tongkol per tanaman. Perlakuan PCr2 menjadi perlakuan terbaik namun nilainya tidak berpengaruh nyata dibandingkan PCr3 meskipun indeks dari masing-masing nilai peubah menunjukkan PCr3 yang tertinggi.

Abstract

Rainfall variability has become the biggest challenge in increasing crop yields. Statistical data shows that a decrease of 20% in harvested area and 27% in rice production in Barito Kuala Regency from 2020 to 2023 has a fatal impact on the exchange rate of rice in the market. This is partly due to changes in the duration of the dry season and rainy season due to El-Nino and La-Nina as well as tropical cyclones that occur in Indonesia. The impact is that some coastal and lowland areas will continue to be inundated for a long period as a result of which harvest area and land productivity will decrease. Therefore, education about farming on flood-prone land must be disseminated to increase farmer resilience and encourage farmers to continue using their land even in flood conditions. This activity aims to disseminate knowledge and applicable technology to increase the productivity of rice fields as a weather mitigation effort. The hope is that participants will accept and implement the farming methods presented in this extension. The results show that the material on rice cultivation technology using the floating method, techniques for biological disease control in rice, and weather forecasting for planning agricultural activities can be understood and participants are interested in implementing them as resilience in flood conditions

Abstract

Keseimbangan hara memegang peran dalam mekanisme fisiologis. Ampas teh dan cangkang telur terbukti berpengaruh dalam menyediakan hara namun memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda, sehingga bisa terjadi sinergisme atau antagonisme antar senyawa yang dimilikinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni membandingkan hasil aplikasi kombinasi kompos ampas teh dan tepung cangkang telur pada tanah Podsolik Merah-Kuning dalam menyeimbangkan NPK dan Ca dalam jaringan tanaman serta menilai hubungannya dengan resistensi tanaman terhadap virulensi kutukebul. Manfaat penelitian ini mendorong penggunaan ampas teh dikomposkan dan cangkang telur dibuat tepung sebagai pembenah tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah kaca Politeknik Hasnur pada April-Oktober 2021 dengan mengaplikasikan kompos ampas teh dan tepung cangkang telur ke tanah Podsolik Merah-Kuning pada budidaya cabai rawit menggunakan bibit varietas Anjasmara. Penelitian didesain menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan analisis BNJ pada α=5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian 120 g kompos ampas teh dikombinasikan 40 g tepung cangkang pada 10 kg tanah mampu meningkatkan kadar N, P, K, dan Ca dalam jaringan tanaman sehingga mendorong resistensi tanaman terhadap virulensi kutukebul sebagai vektor patogen begomovirus. Terdapat hubungan cukup kuat dan positf sebesar 63% antara keharaan pada jaringan tanaman dengan resistensi tanaman terhadap virulensi. Keharaan yang tersedia dan seimbang dapat membantu tanaman membentuk elisitor secara optimal. Kata kunci: elisitor, kompos ampas teh, tepung cangkang telur

Abstract

Lahan pertanian di Kota Banjarmasin semakin berkurang yang disebabkan oleh alih fungsi lahan. Teknologi akuaponik menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang dilakukan agar budidaya tanaman tetap dapat dilakukan pada lahan yang sempit. Pokdakan “Bangkit Menuju Sukses” merupakan kelompok pembudidaya ikan yang aktif, namun masih terbatas dalam variasi kegiatan selain budidaya ikan. Upaya untuk menanam sayuran di atas kolam telah dilakukan, namun belum efisien karena keterbatasan lahan, tenaga, serta keterampilan budidaya tanaman. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi anggota Pokdakan “Bangkit Menuju Sukses” dalam budidaya sayuran melalui metode akuaponik.  Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yakni ceramah, pengenalan alat dan bahan persemaian dan praktik penyemaian benih sayuran. Hasil  yang diperoleh pada kegiatan ini, mitra mengetahui alat dan bahan penyemaian benih sayuran beserta fungsinya yang ditunjukkan pada nilai pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, mitra terampil dalam menyemai benih sayuran pada media rockwool. Mitra menjadi lebih terampil dalam melakukan perawatan benih, karena sebelumnya benih yang ditanam mengalami kegagalan pertumbuhan akibat kurang pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam perawatan benih. Kemudian dilakukan penanaman benih kembali dan pendampingan perawatan benih. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan, benih yang ditanam tumbuh hingga menjadi bibit yang siap dipindahkan ke instalasi akuaponik. Melalui pendampingan ini, mitra mengetahui dan memahami cara penanaman dan perawatan benih tanaman yang baik. Mitra berharap agar kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terus berjalan dan dapat berkelanjutan sebagai upaya meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga, memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi, serta menjadi model pengembangan akuaponik perkotaan yang ramah lingkungan di wilayah Banjarmasin.
