Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price perception, shipping costs, and marketing content on purchase decisions, with trust serving as a moderating variable among Shopee marketplace users in Medan City. The rapid growth of e-commerce platforms has intensified competition, making it essential for online marketplaces to understand consumer behavior, particularly the factors that shape purchasing decisions. A quantitative method was applied using purposive sampling, involving respondents who have made purchases on Shopee. Data were obtained through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression combined with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to examine both direct and moderating effects. The findings reveal that price perception significantly influences purchase decisions, indicating that consumers evaluate fairness, attractiveness, and value before making online purchases. Shipping costs also have a significant positive effect, demonstrating that affordable or subsidized delivery fees encourage higher purchase intention. Marketing content, including product descriptions, visuals, and digital promotions, likewise significantly affects purchasing decisions by enhancing consumer engagement and information clarity. However, trust does not moderate the relationship between these independent variables and purchase decisions, suggesting that the influence of price, shipping costs, and marketing content remains consistent regardless of trust levels. These results highlight the importance for e-commerce platforms to optimize pricing strategies, reduce delivery fees, and strengthen marketing content to drive consumer decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance with loyalty serving as an intervening variable at UPTD Puskesmas Parigi. As public health institutions increasingly emphasize service quality, employee attitudes, work atmosphere, and organizational commitment become critical components that determine performance outcomes. The study uses a quantitative approach with a census sampling method involving all 52 employees at Puskesmas Parigi. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Sobel test procedures to assess both direct and mediating effects. The results reveal that the work environment has a positive and significant impact on both loyalty and performance, indicating that comfortable, safe, and supportive workplace conditions contribute directly to improved performance. Job satisfaction significantly influences performance but does not significantly influence loyalty, suggesting that satisfaction enhances productivity but may not necessarily strengthen commitment. Employee loyalty significantly contributes to performance, confirming its role in increasing employees’ willingness to give their best. Furthermore, loyalty does not mediate the influence of work environment on performance but does mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and performance. These findings highlight the importance of cultivating a positive work atmosphere and managing satisfaction proactively to ensure optimal employee performance in healthcare settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal communication, OCB on employee retention at PT SJB Kudus. The background of this study is driven by the high rate of employee turnover, which can disrupt operational sustainability and organizational performance stability. A quantitative approach was used using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationship between variables. Respondents consisted of 100 permanent employees selected through a census. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4. The results of the study indicate that internal communication significantly affects employee retention. Furthermore, OCB has a significant positive influence on employee retention. These findings highlight the importance of effective internal communication practices, and strategies to enhance OCB in encouraging out-of-role behavior and reducing employee retention.
