Abstract

There are several things that need to be prepared to support children's development through the learning process, one of which is preparing media that can support aspects of their development. Most teachers only use an approach in the form of media images through worksheets without any modifications in the form of games. The purpose of this study is to describe the related Implementation of Mathematical Learning for Early Childhood 4-6 years Through the Traditional Game of Bekel Ball at PG-TK Islam Tirtayasa. This research uses a qualitative method. The research subjects were children aged 4-6 years old. With data collection techniques through an interview, observation, and documentation, classroom Action Research is an activity to improve learning practices to learning activities from problems that arise in learning situations. The results of the study are that there is an increase in the symbols for numbers 1-10 and knowing the shape of a circular geometric circle which if written in proportion is knowing the symbols for numbers 1-10 which is caused by stimulation of the child's brain for cognitive aspects through congklak media, as many children develop very well (BSB) 70% and children who develop as expected as much as 30% while children who know the geometry of circles with an unprecedented development rate as much as 80% and who develop as expected as much as 20%. This is also shown when the process of bekel ball games is done, namely the enthusiasm of children in playing and children are delighted when playing ball together with their friends so that the child does not feel that he is learning as well.

Abstract

This study examines the fine motor development of children using the mosaic technique. The purpose of this study was to find out how to optimize children's fine motor development with the mosaic technique. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with two research subjects. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study using data collection, data reduction, data display and affirmation of conclusions. This study shows how children attach origami paper that already has a pattern with a small shape and glue HVS paper which has an apple-shaped pattern in training eye and hand coordination simultaneously. Based on the results of the data in this study, two subjects had optimal fine motor skills using the mosaic technique.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on findings in the field regarding the gross motor abilities of children in A Muharram group that have not been optimal. It is necessary to find the appropoate method to develope their gross motoric skills. Gross motoric skill development is very important for early childhood because it can affect their future. One of various ways to develop their motoric skills is through fantasy gymnastic method. This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years through fantasy gymnastic methods. The method used is a classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were nine children aged 4-5 years of Muharram group consisting of five boys and four girls in early childhood education of Bina Bangsa Islamic School of Serang. The data collection techniques are conducted through interviews and observations using designed form of interview and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used interactive model by Miles and Huberman. The percentage result obtained from the pre cycle was  34,70% (bad), then increased in cycle I to be 62,80% (good) and then in cycle II to be 87,50% (very good). It can be concluded that the fantasy gymnastic method can improve gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years of early childhood education of Bina Bangsa Islamic School of Serang. The result propose the use of gymnastic and other method to be used in the other aspects of motoric development.

Abstract

Anak adalah tunas dan pelopor lahirnya generasi penerus cita-cita perjuangan sebuah bangsa. Dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan tempat atau wadah bagi anak usia dini untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak. Salah satu aspek yang perlu dikembangkan adalah motorik halus. Motorik halus merupakan kemampuan koordinasi antara mata dengan tangan. Maka dari itu, salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mengoptimalkan untuk anak adalah kegiatan menganyam. Media yang digunakan adalah menganyam dengan kertas berwarna. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak berusia empat hingga lima tahun sebanyak 4 (empat) orang di wilayah Bambu Kuning, Cengkareng Barat, Jakarta Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Penggunaan media menganyam dengan kertas dapat mengoptimalisasi perkembangan motorik halus anak dan diperlukan peran pendidik untuk terus memberikan stimulus pada anak.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif merupakan aspek yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini karena akan memudahkan anak untuk melakukan eksplorasi terhadap dunia atau lingkungan sekitar dengan bantuan pancaindra. Perlu di ingat bahwa perkembangan kognitif penting untuk dikembangkan secara efektif dan efisien salah satunya dapat menggunakan media Powerpoint interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kegunaan, macam-macam dan fungsi pakaian kepada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan alur kegiatan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Labschool UPI Serang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran melalui Powerpoint interaktif dapat menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif anak dengan adanya slide interaktif yang terdapat materi pembelajaran seputar fungsi, jenis dan macam-macam pakaian. Dalam media ini, terdapat kuis interaktif yang bertujuan untuk merefleksikan kemampuan mengingat apa yang anak sudah pelajari. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Powerpoint interaktif dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menstimulasi aspek kognitif anak usia dini di TK Labschool UPI Kampus Serang.

Abstract

Keterampilan sosial adalah kemampuan individu untuk memecahkan permasalahan-permasalahan sosial dengan menciptakan hubungan erat bersama seseorang dalam rangka menyesuaikan diri terhadap lingkungan. Dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) perilaku seperti menyendiri, membeda bedakan teman, dan kurang percaya diri banyak ditemukan pada anak. Berdasarkan urgensi fase usia keemasan (golden age), keterampilan sosial perlu dioptimalkan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka mengoptimalkan keterampilan sosial anak usia dini yaitu dengan melalui kegiatan bermain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keterampilan sosial anak usia dini yang dikembangkan melalui permainan find me. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif melalui kegiatan observasi dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Subjek penelitian adalah anak uisa 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 6 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Hubberman terdiri dari tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan find me terbukti dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial anak usia dini. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perilaku yang menunjukkan anak menjadi lebih percaya diri, mampu bekerja sama, dan dapat menghargai teman.

Abstract

Perkembangan moral dan agama penting karena berperan dalam membentuk perilaku, sehingga anak mampu berinteraksi serta bersikap sesuai pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Pendidikan moral dan agama memberikan fondasi kuat untuk perkembangan karakter anak. Pendidikan moral penting diajarkan kepada anak sejak usia dini, terutama di masa sekarang pengaruh teman dan media sosial sangat besar. Anak usia dini rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan sekitar, termasuk kata kasar yang mereka dengar. Kata kasar merupakan masalah serius di kalangan anak usia dini dan dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan moral dan agama mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan moral dan agama anak usia dini melalui permainan botol akhlak. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik perngumpulan data dengan observasi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa botol akhlak dapat digunakan sebagai permainan untuk mengembangkan moral dan agama anak usia dini. Dengan permainan botol akhlak, dapat membantu anak dalam menjaga lisan, membedakan kata terpuji dan tercela, membedakan perilaku baik dan buruk.

Abstract

Mengenalkan literasi keuangan pada anak prasekolah penting dalam membangun kecakapan hidup dan menyiapkan anak agar terampil mengelola uang di masa datang melalui video animasi yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video animasi yang diberi nama “Si Kemal”. Si Kemal adalah tokoh utama dalam video animasi merupakan akronim dari literaSI KEuangan optiMAL. Metode penelitian menggunakan RD model Hannafin Peck meliputi 3 fase, yaitu analisa kebutuhan, fase desain, serta pengembangan dan implementasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Partisipan terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan anak prasekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video animasi “Si Kemal” layak digunakan pendidik untuk mengenalkan literasi keuangan pada anak prasekolah berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi. Respon guru sebagai pengguna memberikan penilaian dalam ketegori sangat baik diukur dari motivasi, kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan serta dapat diimplementasikan sebagai media yang dapat mengedukasi literasi keuangan.

Abstract

Financial literacy education needs to be instilled from an early age through attractive media so that it is internalized and to form managing finances habits in the future. Augmented Reality (AR) technology is an alternative since it is in the 3D form to visualize abstract concepts into concrete ones. This study aims to develop a financial literacy book with augmented reality technology, "Good and Bad Character AR." This book instills financial knowledge and experience for children in forming good character and habits. The method used in this study was Design Development (DD), with an analysis model of design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). Participants were material and media experts and users (teachers and children aged 5-6 years) at the UPI Campus Labschool Kindergarten in Serang. Validation was carried out by media experts, material experts, two teachers, and five children. The analysis results demonstrated that the financial literacy book "Good and Bad Character AR" was feasible for educators to use in increasing early childhood financial literacy based on the assessment of material experts of 85.33% and media experts of 87%, with a very good category. Meanwhile, the user response came from two teachers respectively at 98.33 and 90%, considered very good in terms of the attractiveness of the content, ease of use, and the children's enthusiasm during learning. In addition, of the five children, 92% were obtained, indicating a very good response. It indicated that AR technology is feasible and potentially used in early childhood learning.

Abstract

This research is based on something that is often overlooked in learning, one of which is when writing an essay, which is not paying close attention to the use of capital letters. This research aims to understand the use of capital letters in students' descriptive essays and to find appropriate teaching materials to anticipate errors in the use of capital letters. The approach used in this study is synchronous, for the research method the researcher uses the method of language error analysis which in collecting data the researcher uses a technique, namely document analysis techniques. Researchers found 5 bad uses of capital letters, namely capital letters are used as an escort for the first letter at the beginning of a sentence, capital letters are the first letters in an element of a human name, one of which is nicknames, this capital letter is used as the first letter of the names of months, years, and days. Holidays and other major holidays, capital letters are used for the first letter of geographic names, capital letters are used as the first letters in an historical name event. From the results of an analysis of student descriptions, it was found that 21 errors in the use of capital letters were found, one of which was 9 in the use of capital letters as the main letter at the beginning of the sentence, 6 errors in the use of capital letters as the main letter of the elements of naming people including designations, 2 errors in the use of capital letters used as the main letter of the name of the month, day, year, big day or holiday, 3 errors in the use of capital letters used for the first letter of geographic naming, 1 error in the use of this letter is used as the main letter of the event and naming elements in history. Furthermore, a material in learning is made, namely giving LKS to students, namely showing a description essay that does not use capital letters very well.
