Abstract

This activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community of UD. Semesta Jamur business actors in Gunung Kupang Cempaka Transmigration in mushroom packaging and mushroom brand labeling. The activity was carried out at the home of Gunung Kupang Cempaka transmigration business actors, on March 20, 2024, involving 8 Gunung Kupang transmigration community members as targets. The method used The method used for this research activity is descriptive qualitative research By using this method as a complement to data with interview and observation techniques through the process of collecting data and information, which includes collecting primary and secondary data. The method used to improve the knowledge and skills of the target is interactive counseling in oyster mushroom packaging education training. oyster mushroom packaging brand label education training activities for Semesta oyster mushroom farmers in Gunung Kupang Cempaka to increase sales volume from packaging results and brand labeling with various gram content sizes can attract buyers. So that it can increase sustainable business competitiveness. With the assistance in the form of packaging materials and tools, printed brand label stickers and financial assistance for oyster mushroom businesses submitted by the community service lecturer team to partners to increase oyster mushroom sales volume and increase partner income. This training activity has gone well and can increase target knowledge in making good oyster mushroom food packaging brand labels that meet the requirements. All participants have the desire to follow up on the results of this training and hope that the training activities can be continued in a more technical form and a more conducive atmosphere.ABSTRAKKegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat pelaku usaha UD. Semesta Jamur di Transmigrasi Gunung Kupang Cempaka dalam pengemasan jamur dan pemberian label merk jamur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di rumah pelaku usaha transmigrasi gunung kupang cempaka, pada tanggal 20 maret 2024 dengan melibatkan 8 orang masyarkat transmigrasi gunung kupang sebagai sasaran. Metode yang digunakan Metode yang digunakan untuk kegiatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif Dengan menggunakan metode ini sebagai pelengkap data dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi melalui proses pengumpulan data dan informasi, yang meliputi pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Metode yang digunakan untuk peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampiran sasaran adalah penyuluhan interaktif dalam pelatihan edukasi pengemasan jamur tiram.kegiatan pelatihan edukasi label merk pengemasan  jamur tiram bagi petani jmaur tiram semesta di gunung kupang cempaka untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan dari hasil pengemasan dan pemberian label merk dengan berbagai ukuran isi gram dapat menarik minta pembeli. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing usaha yang berkelanjutan. Dengan adanya bantuan berupa bahan dan alat pengemasan, stiker label merek yang sudah dicetak dan bantuan dana untuk usaha jamur tiram yang diserahkan tim dosen pengabdian masyarakat kepada mitra untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan jamur tiram dan meningkatkan pendapatan mitra. Kegiatan pelatihan ini telah berlangsung dengan baik dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan sasaran dalam membuat label merk pengemasan jamur tiram makanan yang baik dan memenuhi persyaratan. Seluruh peserta memiliki keinginan untuk menindaklanjuti hasil pelatihan ini dan berharap agar kegiatan pelatihan dapat dilanjutkan dalam bentuk yang lebih teknis dan suasana yang lebih kondusif.

Abstract

Frozen food is a food product preserved by freezing to extend its shelf life and maintain its quality. This Community Service activity will provide training on making frozen rissole fillings, including chicken rissole, yogurt rissole, mayo rissole, and vegetable rissole, to empower women's groups in the Cempaka Banjarbaru neighborhood. Twenty representatives from the PKK women's group will attend, and the session will last a full day, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A speech will be given on the frozen food process, with the necessary ingredients and tools prepared a month in advance. A live demonstration will also be provided on the steps involved in making rissole skins and filling variations This activity will begin in May 2025, with site visits and surveys. The training was held in June 2025. The venue for this activity was a resident's home with 20 participants working in teams of 4 people, resulting in 5 groups. The participants were selected based on accidental sampling. Participants included in this mentoring were housewives and members of the general public who participated in the Cempaka Banjarbaru PKK women's group. The training on making frozen risoles with chicken, mayo, yogurt, and vegetable fillings at the Cempaka Banjarbaru PKK women's group went very well and effectively, providing a comprehensive understanding of the importance of understanding the ingredients, equipment, and methods of making frozen food applied in the processing/making of frozen risoles. Sihite (2006) stated that the main differences in processing or cooking are caused by several factors, including: (1) the condition of the food ingredients to be processed, (2) the results or food to be cooked. All participants tried to contribute to the preparation by explaining the level of doneness of the dish, but not all participants knew whether the filled variant dish was cooked (al dente) or not. The atmosphere in each group at this stage was very active, and all participants were enthusiastic about practicing. Participants helped and supported each other in their groups to complete the assignments well and quickly. Undeniably, the competition between groups was very strong, as they strived to complete the assignments with optimal results.ABSTRAKMakanan beku, atau frozen food, adalah produk makanan yang diawetkan dengan cara dibekukan untuk memperpanjang masa simpannya dan mempertahankan kualitasnya. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini akan dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan frozen food risoles varian isi, antara lain:  risoles isi ayam, risoles yogurt, risoles mayo dan risoles sayuran, untuk pemberdayaan ibu-ibu PKK di lingkungan cempaka banjarbaru. Yang di ikuti perwakilan dari kelompok ibu-ibu PKK 20 peserta, selama 1 hari full, dimulai dari jam 08.00 wita sampai jam 17.00 wita. Pemberian materi pidato tentang pembuatan proses frozen food, dari bahan-bahan dan alat-alat yang diperlukan sudah dipersiapkan dari 1 bulan kegiatan akan dilakukan, serta didemokan langsung tahap-tahap pembuatan kulit risoles dan varian isi nya. kegiatan ini dimulai pada bulan mei 2025, dengan mengadakan kunjungan ke lokasi dan survey. Dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan juni 2025. Adapun tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di rumah warga dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang, bekerja secara team, 1 kelompok terdiri dari 4 orang/anggota, jadi ada 5 kelompok. Peserta tersebut dipilih berdasarkan accidental sampling. Peserta yang masuk dalam pendampingan ini merupakan ibu rumah tangga, masyarakat umum yang ikut kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Cempaka Banjarbaru. Pelatihan pembuatan frozen food risoles varian isi ayam, mayo, yogurt dan sayuran pada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Cempaka Banjarbaru berjalan sangat baik dan efektif mampu memberikan pemahaman secara menyeluruh pentingnya memahami pengetahuan tentang bahan, peralatan dan metode pembuatan frozen food yang diterapkan dalam pengolahan/pembuatan Frozen food risoles. Sihite (2006) menyebutkan perbedaan pokok dalam pengolahan atau memasak disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, diantaranya: (1) keadaan bahan makanan yang akan diolah, (2) Hasil atau makanan yang akan dimasak. Semua peserta mencoba memberikan kontribusi pembuatan dengan menjelaskan tingkat kematangan masakan, namun tidak semua peserta mengetahui bahwa masakan varian isi itu sudah matang (aldente) atau belum. Suasana tiap-tiap kelompok pada tahapan ini sangat aktif dan semua peserta antusias untuk dapat mempraktikkan. Peserta saling membantu dan mendukung temannya dalam satu kelompok untuk menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik dan cepat, tanpa dipungkiri persaingan antar kelompok sangat bagus mereka berusaha dapat menyelesaikan tugas dengan hasil yang baik dan maksimal.

Abstract

This research is very in-depth and focuses on developing innovative performance management models to increase productivity in the digital era at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan. Explanation of the research, in the context of the digital era, and the research methodology used, including the literature study method chosen to gain an in-depth understanding of this research topic. The attached literature review provides a good overview of key concepts relevant to performance management in the digital era. This research has included important theories and findings that support the theoretical basis of the research. The research results highlight the development of innovative performance management models relevant to the digital era, with an emphasis on performance optimization through digital technology, data analytics and efficient improvement processes. Implementation of the model in an organizational context, including specific steps such as goal setting and communication, is an important element in turning the model into concrete action. In addition, the solutions offered to overcome challenges and obstacles that may arise during implementation are wise steps. It reflects a solution-oriented approach and is ready to face changes that may occur on the way to more innovative performance management. This article also demonstrates an understanding of the importance of employee satisfaction, ongoing training, and a focus on results in the context of more adaptive performance management. Thus, this research appears to be a valuable resource for management practitioners, organizational leaders, and researchers interested in understanding and implementing effective performance management in the digital era. Abstract

The Industrial Era 4.0 has brought profound changes in various industrial sectors throughout the world. This research explores the challenges and opportunities of human resource management (HR) in facing these changes, with a focus on Syamsudin Noor International Airport, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The digital era and Industry 4.0 have changed the business landscape, demanding rapid adaptation in managing the workforce. A key challenge is the lack of digital skills required by employees to operate in an increasingly digitalized environment. This research provides an overview of changes at Syamsudin Noor Airport, which has an important role as a regional gateway and logistics center. The airport is facing changes in technology, regulations and increasing customer expectations. HR management must play a strategic role in overcoming this challenge. The conclusion of this research is that HR management must prioritize developing employee digital skills, changing organizational culture, and understanding regulations related to the digital era. This is crucial to ensure the success of Syamsudin Noor Airport and similar organizations in facing Industry 4.0. Opportunities exist in operational efficiency, data analytics and work flexibility. In conclusion, adaptive HR management and a focus on developing digital skills will play a key role in responding to challenges and exploiting opportunities in the Industry 4.0 era.

Abstract

In a global context influenced by the pandemic, HR adaptations to support remote work are important for organizational continuity and productivity. This research highlights the lessons learned from a case study at Uniska MAB Banjarmasin, which effectively adapted their HR practices in the post-pandemic era. Diverse research methods, including case studies, in-depth interviews, document analysis, and participant observation, provide in-depth insight into the adaptation process. The research results show that Uniska MAB Banjarmasin experienced significant changes in work patterns, performance evaluation, and reward policies as a response to remote work. Despite emerging challenges, such as remote management and work-life balance, the adaptation of effective strategies, such as technology training and an open communication approach, has resulted in increased employee engagement, productivity and job satisfaction. The implications of this research are not only practical, with recommendations for other organizations wishing to adopt similar practices, but also theoretical, providing a deeper understanding of HR management in the context of remote work. By considering the challenges overcome and lessons learned from Uniska MAB Banjarmasin, this research highlights the potential for positive adaptation of HR practices to support organizational success in facing rapidly changing work environments.

Abstract

This research examines Talent Management in the Digital Era with a focus on the application of technology for recruitment and retention at PT. Arutmin Indonesia. This company has successfully implemented a technology-based talent management strategy using digital platforms, artificial intelligence and data analysis. Recruitment processes, career development and employee retention management through technology have a positive impact on efficiency, effectiveness and employee satisfaction. The research results show that PT. Arutmin Indonesia faces challenges, including employee resistance to technology and data security. Companies address these challenges through technology training, involvement of IT experts, and implementation of strict data security policies. In facing changes in higher education governance, PT. Arutmin Indonesia also implements innovation and change management strategies. Therefore, the conclusion is to increase technology integration, develop data analysis, and strengthen technology-based skills development. The application of intelligent technologies, such as artificial intelligence, may be a future focus for improving talent management. The conclusion confirms that the technological approach to talent management has had a positive impact and provides valuable insights for other companies that wish to involve technology in managing their human resources in the digital era.

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, companies in various sectors must adapt to technological changes to remain competitive. PT Benawa, an advertising and printing company in Banjarbaru, faces challenges in talent management amidst digital transformation. This study aims to explore how PT Benawa utilizes technology to improve the recruitment and retention process of talent. The use of information and communication technology, including AI-based recruitment software, HRIS, and data-based employee retention platforms, has increased the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent management process. This study uses the ADDIE model to ensure that the application of technology is carried out systematically and structured. The results of the study show that technology can improve employee experience, work flexibility, and company image, despite challenges in adapting to technology and changing organizational culture. With the right strategy, PT Benawa can achieve a competitive advantage in talent management in the digital era.

Abstract

The concept of a smart city has emerged as a key paradigm in modern urban management, particularly in enhancing public service efficiency, governance, and environmental sustainability. This study explores the smart city strategy in the urban development of Banjarbaru City, aiming to evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of related policies and technologies that support digital innovation. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving stakeholders such as local governments, academics, and community members. The findings reveal that smart city initiatives in Banjarbaru have positively impacted public service efficiency, especially in digital governance, technology-based transportation, and urban environmental management. Nonetheless, several challenges persist, including inadequate digital infrastructure, limited public technological literacy, and insufficient readiness of human resources to adopt new technologies. Resistance to change and a lack of system integration across sectors further hinder progress. This study recommends enhancing data-driven policy formulation, strengthening technological infrastructure, improving human resource capacity, and fostering collaboration between government, private sectors, and the community to support digital transformation. Moreover, innovative financing models such as public-private partnerships (PPP) and green bonds are proposed as viable strategies to accelerate sustainable smart city development. The study also highlights the need for future research on evaluating the sustainability of smart cities, developing measurable performance indicators, and mitigating risks in urban technological implementation. With an inclusive and innovation-oriented approach, Banjarbaru demonstrates significant potential to become a model smart city that is efficient, sustainable, and adaptive to contemporary urban challenges.

Abstract

Employee training is an important strategy for improving a company’s human resource competency. This study aimed to analyze the effect of training on employee competency by considering control variables such as work motivation, experience, and education level. The research design was a quantitative explanatory survey. The population in this study was  42 employees of PT Carsurin Banjarbaru Branch, using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests (normality and multicollinearity), and multiple linear regression, with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that training had a positive and significant effect on employee competency (p < 0.05, R² = 0.65) even after controlling for motivation, experience, and education variables. No multicollinearity problems were found in the model (VIF < 10), and the residual data were normally distributed. These findings indicate that well-designed training programs play an important role in improving employee knowledge, skills, and work attitudes. Practically, these results suggest that companies should place more emphasis on developing relevant training materials, improving instructor quality, and using applicable training methods
