Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the implementation of the teaching of history in planting nationalism among students of class XI Social Science Pecangaan Senior High School. (2) Describe the attitude of nationalism class XI Social Science Pecangaan Senior High School. (3) Knowing the constraints faced by teachers in the planting of nationalism in history teaching class XI IPS SMAN I Pecangaan. (4) Describe the efforts of teachers in the face of constraints planting of nationalism in history teaching class XI Social Science Pecangaan Senior High School. This research method using qualitative research methods.

Abstract

Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia merupakan suatu proses dan upaya untuk merekrut, mengembangkan, memotivasi, dan mengevaluasi seluruh sumber daya manusia yang diperlukan dalam suatu perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuannya, penelitian ini mengkaji dampak lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Kelola Sarana Jaya , Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Kelola Sarana Jaya yang berjumlah 50 orang yang dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Kelola Sarana Jaya Jakarta Selatan. Lingkungan Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Kelola Sarana Jaya Jakarta Selatan dengan kontribusi sebesar 24 persen.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana mahasiswi muslimah menggunakan second account di Instagram sebagai sarana untuk melakukan self-disclosure. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah fenomena penggunaan second account untuk memisahkan identitas publik dan pribadi. Dengan menggunakan teori dramaturgi dari Erving Goffman, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana mahasiswi muslimah menyusun, mengelola, dan menyajikan citra diri yang berbeda di akun utama dan second account mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap tiga mahasiswi muslimah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan second account memungkinkan mahasiswi untuk berekspresi lebih bebas dan jujur tanpa tekanan sosial yang ada di akun utama. Akun utama berfungsi sebagai panggung depan (front stage), sementara second account berfungsi sebagai panggung belakang (backstage) yang memberikan ruang bagi ekspresi diri yang lebih autentik.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi yang semakin kompleks, kesadaran terhadap kehidupan bersama sangat diperlukan oleh setiap orang. Dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, menjalin hubungan dan relasi yang baik sangat penting untuk mendorong gotong royong dan saling membantu dalam berbagai hal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan terhadap peserta yaitu guru dan siswa SMA Erenos dalam membangun kepribadian untuk semakin bela rasa dan tangguh dalam menjalani kehidupan di tengah masyarakat. Kegiatan PKM diikuti dengan penuh antusias dimana peserta sangat aktif dan mengikuti dengan penuh gairah, sehingga PKM ini berhasil dan mendapatkan apresiasi dari SMA Erenos. Kerjasama seperti ini harus diikuti dengan penuh kebajikan agar dapat memberikan sebuah dampak yang positif.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships between employee engagement, organizational culture, psychological empowerment, and employee performance within PT Tanjung Selatan Makmur Jaya. Employing a quantitative research framework, data was collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 152 employees selected via purposive sampling. The analysis employed the PLS-SEM technique, facilitated by SmartPLS software, to investigate the relationships among the variables. The findings suggest that employee engagement and organizational culture have a significantly positive impact on employee performance. Furthermore, employee engagement has a positive influence on psychological empowerment, which acts as a mediator in the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. Conversely, psychological empowerment does not mediate the relationship between employee engagement and performance. This research highlights the crucial roles of employee engagement, organizational culture, and psychological empowerment in enhancing employee performance. It also elucidates the interactions among these factors, offering valuable insights for organizations seeking to develop more effective human resource management strategies that enhance employee performance in contemporary settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties faced by students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) within the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Through a literature review of various sources, it was found that students encounter challenges in understanding abstract concepts that integrate aspects of both natural and social sciences. Factors contributing to these learning difficulties include low motivation, limited learning media, a lack of varied teaching strategies, and the suboptimal role of teachers in applying appropriate learning approaches. To address these issues, collaboration among teachers, students, and parents is essential, along with enhancing teachers' competencies in developing adaptive and engaging teaching methods. Thus, it is hoped that IPAS learning can proceed more effectively and enjoyably, thereby improving students' understanding and skills in line with the objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The students' disinterest and low ability to understand and translate physics concepts are challenges in physics learning. One of the solutions in this field is to implement a learning approach that can enhance students' interest and deepen their understanding and ability to translate abstract concepts of physics. This study aims to investigate the effect of implementing multi-representation-based physics learning on students’ representation translation abilities in linear motion. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest. This study involved 62 students from two eleventh-grade classes at senior high schools in Bandung, which were selected using purposive sampling. The experimental group received Lesh-Janvier multi-representation-based learning treatment, while the control group received conventional teacher-centered learning treatment. These research instruments include tests for representation translation ability and student response questionnaires. The results indicate that the representation translation ability of the experimental group shows a significant improvement, with an n-gain value of 0.74. Students’ responses to the learning process were also positive. Hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS shows a significant result (Asymp. Sig. < 0.001) for the experimental group, indicating a significant difference. Thus, multi-representation-based learning positively affects students' representation translation abilities.      Keywords: multi representations, representation translation ability, linear motion.

Abstract

Toxocariasis is a zoonotic disease caused by infection with the parasitic worm Toxocara cati, which commonly infects cats and can be transmitted to humans. This study aimed to identify the presence of T. cati in cats through macroscopic and microscopic examination of fecal samples. Samples were collected from post-operative cats exhibiting clinical signs such as lethargy and decreased appetite, with adult worms observed in their feces. Examination was conducted using the flotation method with a saturated salt solution. The results revealed the presence of adult T. cati worms with distinct morphological features, including cervical alae on the anterior end and a curved posterior end. Additionally, round-shaped eggs with thick, rough brownish walls were identified. These findings highlight the importance of routine parasitological examinations and regular deworming to prevent the spread of toxocariasis. Maintaining environmental hygiene and feed quality also plays a crucial role in controlling this disease.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Culture and Employee Commitment on Employee Performance at PT Lingkar Sakti Mas Banjarmasin. The research employs a quantitative approach with 32 respondents, all of whom were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that the Organizational Culture variable (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), with a t value of 5.475 > t table 2.042 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In contrast, the Employee Commitment variable (X2) does not significantly affect Employee Performance, with a t value of 1.731 < t table 2.042 and a significance level of 0.094 > 0.05. The simultaneous test (F test) indicates that Organizational Culture and Employee Commitment jointly have a significant effect on Employee Performance, as shown by an F value of 19.710 > F table 3.328 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, improving employee performance can be achieved through the implementation of a strong organizational culture supported by consistent and balanced employee commitment.

Abstract

Frozen food is a food product preserved by freezing to extend its shelf life and maintain its quality. This Community Service activity will provide training on making frozen rissole fillings, including chicken rissole, yogurt rissole, mayo rissole, and vegetable rissole, to empower women's groups in the Cempaka Banjarbaru neighborhood. Twenty representatives from the PKK women's group will attend, and the session will last a full day, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A speech will be given on the frozen food process, with the necessary ingredients and tools prepared a month in advance. A live demonstration will also be provided on the steps involved in making rissole skins and filling variations This activity will begin in May 2025, with site visits and surveys. The training was held in June 2025. The venue for this activity was a resident's home with 20 participants working in teams of 4 people, resulting in 5 groups. The participants were selected based on accidental sampling. Participants included in this mentoring were housewives and members of the general public who participated in the Cempaka Banjarbaru PKK women's group. The training on making frozen risoles with chicken, mayo, yogurt, and vegetable fillings at the Cempaka Banjarbaru PKK women's group went very well and effectively, providing a comprehensive understanding of the importance of understanding the ingredients, equipment, and methods of making frozen food applied in the processing/making of frozen risoles. Sihite (2006) stated that the main differences in processing or cooking are caused by several factors, including: (1) the condition of the food ingredients to be processed, (2) the results or food to be cooked. All participants tried to contribute to the preparation by explaining the level of doneness of the dish, but not all participants knew whether the filled variant dish was cooked (al dente) or not. The atmosphere in each group at this stage was very active, and all participants were enthusiastic about practicing. Participants helped and supported each other in their groups to complete the assignments well and quickly. Undeniably, the competition between groups was very strong, as they strived to complete the assignments with optimal results.ABSTRAKMakanan beku, atau frozen food, adalah produk makanan yang diawetkan dengan cara dibekukan untuk memperpanjang masa simpannya dan mempertahankan kualitasnya. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini akan dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan frozen food risoles varian isi, antara lain:  risoles isi ayam, risoles yogurt, risoles mayo dan risoles sayuran, untuk pemberdayaan ibu-ibu PKK di lingkungan cempaka banjarbaru. Yang di ikuti perwakilan dari kelompok ibu-ibu PKK 20 peserta, selama 1 hari full, dimulai dari jam 08.00 wita sampai jam 17.00 wita. Pemberian materi pidato tentang pembuatan proses frozen food, dari bahan-bahan dan alat-alat yang diperlukan sudah dipersiapkan dari 1 bulan kegiatan akan dilakukan, serta didemokan langsung tahap-tahap pembuatan kulit risoles dan varian isi nya. kegiatan ini dimulai pada bulan mei 2025, dengan mengadakan kunjungan ke lokasi dan survey. Dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan juni 2025. Adapun tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di rumah warga dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang, bekerja secara team, 1 kelompok terdiri dari 4 orang/anggota, jadi ada 5 kelompok. Peserta tersebut dipilih berdasarkan accidental sampling. Peserta yang masuk dalam pendampingan ini merupakan ibu rumah tangga, masyarakat umum yang ikut kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Cempaka Banjarbaru. Pelatihan pembuatan frozen food risoles varian isi ayam, mayo, yogurt dan sayuran pada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Cempaka Banjarbaru berjalan sangat baik dan efektif mampu memberikan pemahaman secara menyeluruh pentingnya memahami pengetahuan tentang bahan, peralatan dan metode pembuatan frozen food yang diterapkan dalam pengolahan/pembuatan Frozen food risoles. Sihite (2006) menyebutkan perbedaan pokok dalam pengolahan atau memasak disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, diantaranya: (1) keadaan bahan makanan yang akan diolah, (2) Hasil atau makanan yang akan dimasak. Semua peserta mencoba memberikan kontribusi pembuatan dengan menjelaskan tingkat kematangan masakan, namun tidak semua peserta mengetahui bahwa masakan varian isi itu sudah matang (aldente) atau belum. Suasana tiap-tiap kelompok pada tahapan ini sangat aktif dan semua peserta antusias untuk dapat mempraktikkan. Peserta saling membantu dan mendukung temannya dalam satu kelompok untuk menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik dan cepat, tanpa dipungkiri persaingan antar kelompok sangat bagus mereka berusaha dapat menyelesaikan tugas dengan hasil yang baik dan maksimal.
