Abstract

A preliminary study conducted in three elementary schools in Region 1 of Tanjung Sani revealed that mathematics learning was still less interactive, and the use of digital learning media had not been optimized, resulting in limited student engagement during the learning process. This study aimed to develop an interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline 3 for the topic of types of triangles in Grade IV elementary school that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE Development model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects included expert validators, fourth-grade teachers, and fourth-grade students from three elementary schools in Region 1 of Tanjung Sani. The research instruments consisted of validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The results indicated that the developed media achieved an average validity score of 90% (very valid), an average practicality score of 85.33% (very practical), and an N-Gain score of 81.74% (high category). These findings demonstrate that the Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media is feasible for use as an innovative digital learning medium to support mathematics learning on the topic of types of triangles for fourth-grade elementary school students. Keywords: ADDIE, Articulate Storyline 3, triangles ABSTRAK Studi pendahuluan di tiga sekolah dasar wilayah 1 Tanjung Sani menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Matematika masih kurang interaktif dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital belum optimal sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keaktifan murid dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education, where the learning process was still teacher-centered, dominated by conventional methods, lacked innovative learning models, and provided limited technology-integrated learning media. These conditions led to low active engagement, weak critical reasoning ability, low collaborative involvement in groups, and low student confidence. Baseline data showed that only about 46% of students had reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). This condition indicated the need to improve the learning process so that student learning outcomes could increase comprehensively. This study aimed to describe the lesson planning, the implementation of learning, and the improvement of Pancasila Education learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in grade IV of SDN 13 Pasar Remaja, Sawahlunto City. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach. The research subjects were 24 fourth-grade students. The study was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the application of the PBL model improved student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The quality of lesson planning (teaching modules) increased from 87.5% in Cycle I Meeting 1 to 95.83% in Cycle II. Teacher and student activity during learning also improved significantly, both reaching 96.42% in Cycle II with a very good qualification. The average score for the knowledge aspect rose from 70.84 (Cycle I Meeting 1) to 85.00 in Cycle II, with a mastery level of 95.83%, while the average score for the skills aspect rose from 68.75% to 88.50% in Cycle II. It can therefore be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education in grade IV of SDN 13 Pasar Remaja, Sawahlunto City.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 14 Gadut, Agam Regency. Key issues identified included students' difficulties in grasping the meaning of narrative texts, an inability to independently identify and locate main ideas within paragraphs, low learning motivation, and challenges regarding collaboration in completing group tasks on time. Furthermore, the teaching modules used by the teacher did not specifically adopt a particular model, and learning activities remained dominated by a teacher-centered approach. Initial assessments revealed that 56.25% of students failed to meet the established Learning Objective Mastery Criteria (KKTP). This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the improvement of fourth grade students' reading comprehension through the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, designed collaboratively with the classroom teacher. It was conducted over two cycles, with each cycle systematically comprising the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were all 16 fourth grade students at SDN 14 Gadut, Agam Regency comprising 11 boys and 5 girls during the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection was conducted comprehensively using observation and testing techniques. The research instruments utilized included a teaching module assessment sheet based on the Deep Learning approach, teacher and student activity observation sheets, and a learning outcome evaluation sheet covering attitudes, knowledge, and reading performance skills, as well as assessments of student presentations and discussions.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to describe the improvement of students’ learning This classroom action research aimed to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by Canva in Grade V at SDN 03 Bandar Buat. The research was motivated by students’ low participation in asking and answering questions and expressing opinions, difficulties in relating learning materials to everyday life, teacher-centered learning, and the suboptimal use of instructional media. The initial condition showed that only 7 of 26 students (26.92%) achieved the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP) of 80, with a class average score of 59.23. The research used qualitative and quantitative approaches with Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles and three meetings. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 26 fifth-grade students in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using percentages, mean scores, and learning mastery. The results showed improvements in the learning process and outcomes. The lesson-plan assessment increased from 89.28% to 96.42%, teacher activity from 84.72% to 91.67%, and student activity from 81.90% to 94.40%. Learning outcomes in attitude increased from 76.02% to 85.65%, knowledge from 65.39% to 88.46%, and skills from 72.84% to 88.46%. Thus, the implementation of CTL assisted by Canva can improve the learning process and students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education.
