Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the implementation of the independent curriculum in the Indonesian language subject in class X SMAS Santun Untan, (2) evaluation of the independent curriculum in the Indonesian language subject in class X SMAS Santun Untan, (3) obstacles to the implementation of the independent curriculum in the Indonesian language subject in class X SMAS Santun Untan. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques using data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (data verification). The analysis in this study used eight informants, namely one core informant and 7 supporting informants. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning for class X has not been optimally implemented. The implementation of the independent curriculum is still collaborated with the 2013 curriculum, namely in the use of LKS as a learning tool. In addition, obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum are that many teachers are not tech-savvy or do not master technology, the lack of facilities and infrastructure at SMAS Santun Untan, and the limited ability of teachers to adapt to the independent curriculum are also quite serious obstacles experienced at SMAS Santun Untan. Evaluation of the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning at SMAS Santun Untan is divided into 2, namely written and oral assessments for students.

Abstract

Abstract The study of the Madurese Traditional Marriage Terminology in Mempawah in WajokHilir Village has three traditional processions that must be carried out by the bride and groom and their families. First, the pre-wedding procession which consists of five traditional processes that must be carried out, namely; (1) ngangane, (2) arabe fence, (3) nyabe' snack, (4) teketpetton, and (5) nyedektemo. After carrying out the pre-wedding rituals or traditional traditions, the second procession is followed by a wedding procession. In the wedding procession, there are four traditional processions that the bride and groom must undergo, namely; (1) arepbe, (2) bereskoneng, (3) contract, and (4) delivery of the weakest delivery. Then the third or final procession is the post-wedding procession. In the postwedding procession, the bride and groom are required to carry out the traditional cenglanceng ritual, the ritual is a closing ritual. In the cenglanceng ritual, the bride and groom carry out a slametan procession or salvation for the marriage that has been carried out and hope that the marriage can get safety and happiness in building a household. Abstract

This research aims to describe forms of foreign and regional language interference in writing business name boards in Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Analyzing data related to forms of foreign and regional language interference, as well as the factors that cause interference. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources for this research are business nameplates and business owners who have nameplates in Sungai Raya District. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and recording. This research produced 40 data on forms of foreign and regional language interference which included 21 foreign language vocabularies, 7 regional language vocabularies, and 2 foreign and regional language vocabularies. Foreign language morphological interference was not found, regional language morphological interference amounted to 3 data. Foreign language syntactic interference totaling 7 data includes foreign phrase patterns (M-D). Regional language syntactic interference was not found. Factors causing interference are (1) bilingualism, (2) low loyalty of the recipient's language, (3) Prestige source language and language style, (4) carrying over native language habits.

Abstract

This research is based on curiosity about eye activity verbs, especially in Pontianak Malay. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Techniques for collecting data are observation techniques, interviews, note-taking, and documentary study techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, there were 31 data in the form of lingual units of eye activity verbs in Pontianak Malay consisting of 28 lingual units of eye activity verbs without using tools in Pontianak Malay and 3 lingual units of eye activity verbs using tools in Pontianak Malay. There are 25 lingual monomorphemic forms, 5 polymorphemic forms and 1 lingual unit phrases. The function of the lingual unit of eye activity verbs in Pontianak Malay based on the verbal function is 26, the number of adjective functions is 1 and the nominal function is 4. The meaning in the linguan unit of activity verbs eyes in Pontianak Malay based on 29 lexical meanings, 1 grammatical meanings and 1 contextual meanings. Supplementary forms for learning Indonesian based on eye activity verbs in Pontianak Malay are in the form of a descriptive text entitled Ways of the People of West Kalimantan Saying Eye Activities in Malay Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of the analysis of the character's personality, psychological problems and factors that influence the character's personality in the novel Paradigma by Syahid Muhammad. This research is in the form of qualitative descriptive method. This study uses a literary psychology approach. The data source for this research is the novel Paradigma by Syahid Muhammad with the data in the form of excerpts from the novel's sentences which lead to the object of analysis. Data collection techniques using documentary study techniques. The results of this study are the character's personality which consists of aspects of id, ego, superego. selfishness, feeling guilty, indifference, pleasure, stubbornness, resisting pain, reluctant to get angry, refusing to be approached, aware of what is happening, uncomfortable, uncontrollable, unyielding, holding back anger and hatred. The psychiatric problems found are adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders and suicide, and personality disorders. There are personal factors that influence the appearance of the character's personality aspects which include biological factors, curiosity motives, love motives, self-esteem motives, the need to seek identity, motives of values, attitudes, and emotions.

Abstract

AbstractThis study provides an overview of the application of the numbered head together model in learning to analyze content and the supporting factors of the NHT model in descriptive text learning. The results of this study indicate that the application of the NHT model in learning to analyze the content of descriptive text is carried out in four meetings and includes six activities. In 1-3 meetings, preparatory activities, group formation, problem discussions, questions and answers, giving conclusions, and awards were carried out during the learning process to analyze the content of the descriptive text including: type, structure and language in the waterfall description text. The 4th meeting was held to assess the results of the individual analysis of the descriptive text entitled The Beauty of the Blue Lake among the Hills. The factors that support the success of learning are: competent teachers and careful planning stages in lesson plans, students who are enthusiastic about learning to analyze the content of descriptive texts, learning objectives that make students like descriptive texts, learning materials that are close to students, NHT methods, various media learning, learning evaluation of processes and products.  Keywords: Analyze, Descriptive Text, Numbered Head Together.

Abstract

This research aims to classify data obtained from the field, carry out an inventory of the data in the form of terminology, lexical meaning and cultural meaning, and produce a supplementary form of Indonesian language learning text based on Cultural Terminology in the Rituals of the Boboren Tradition in the Jangkang Dayak Community in Jangkang District, Sanggau Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive method in qualitative form. The data sources in this research are people or community leaders who really understand the boboren tradition. The informants in this research were Emelia Poni (Semombat Village) aged 45 years, Jimpui (Semombat Village) aged 54 years, Cristian Mara (Dusun Rosak) aged 57 years. Data collection techniques are interview, recording and documentation techniques. Data validity testing techniques include techniques to increase persistence, triangulation, reference skills, and peer examination. This research produced 112 data on cultural terminology in the rituals of the boboren tradition in the Jangkang Dayak Community in Jangkang District, Sanggau Regency with details of 19 terms in the form of monomorphemic terms and 41 data in the form of polymorphemic terms. There are 52 data on lexical meaning and 7 data on cultural meaning in boboren ritual terminology, 13 data on process terminology, 34 data on tool and material terminology, and 6 data on perpetrator terminology. This research also produces an Indonesian language learning text based on Cultural Terminology in the Rituals of the Boboren Tradition in the Jangkang Dayak Community in Jangkang District, Sanggau Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to inventory and describe in the form of lingual units,lexical meaning and cultural meaning based on the cultural lexicon inthe Sambas Malay traditional dance. The method used in this researchis a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research, and uses anethnolinguistic approach. The data sources in this study were culturaldance activists such as teachers (coaches) and musicians, the data in thisstudy was the traditional Malay Sambas dance. Data collectiontechniques are interview, note, record and documentation. Thetechnique of testing the validity of the data is the persistence ofobservation and triangulation. This research produces 275 lexicon in thetraditional Malay dance Sambas with details of 153 words in the formof monomorphemic and polymorphemic, and 122 phrases. Themeanings found in this study are 275 lexical meanings and 113 culturalmeanings and their components of meaning

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the writing ability of news texts of seventhgrade students at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive to describe the students' ability in writing news texts, with a qualitative research approach. The subjects of this research are the seventh-grade students of class VII B at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak, totaling 31 students. The data obtained are the results of students' writing abilities in creating news texts in terms of structure and language rules. The results of the analysis of writing abilities in the aspect of text structure show that 7 students have excellent abilities, 12 students have abilities in the good category, 11 students have abilities in the fair category, and 1 student has abilities in the very poor category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of news text abilities in terms of structure show that there are 3 students with abilities in the poor category and 28 students with abilities in the very poor category.

Abstract

This research examines the ethnomedicine lexicon related to the traditional medicine of the Malay community in Nanga Danau Village. The study aims to identify and describe the forms of lexicons associated with traditional medicine in the village and analyze their lexical, grammatical, and cultural meanings in the Malay language of Nanga Danau Village. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the study relies on data collected from native speakers of the Kapuas Hulu Malay language who are directly involved in traditional medical practices in the village. The data consists of lexicons related to traditional medicine, focusing on lingual units such as words and phrases, as well as their lexical, grammatical, and cultural meanings. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, recording, note-taking, and translation techniques, utilizing tools such as questionnaires, recording devices, and stationery. The findings reveal 77 lexicons related to traditional medicine in the Malay community of Nanga Danau Village, including 9 lexicons for disease names, 5 for treatment names, 26 for treatment materials, and 37 for treatment methods. The linguistic forms of these lexicons comprise 15 monomorphemic units, 6 polymorphemic units, and 56 phrases. Additionally, 77 lexicons have been identified with lexical meanings.
