Abstract

The objective of this research were to analyze: 1) The dynamics of educator in Modern Boarding School Daar Al Uluum Kisaran Asahan District, 2) The dynamics of students in Modern Boarding School Daar Al Uluum Kisaran Asahan District, 3) The dynamics of curriculum in Modern Boarding School Daar Al Uluum Kisaran Asahan District. The approach of this research was qualitative methods. The data obtained through interviews, observation and document. The Informant of this research was the Director of Islamic boarding school, Director Curriculum of Islamic boarding school, Director Administration of Islamic boarding school, headmaster of MTs, headmaster of MA, headmaster PKU, Adviser to the Asahan regency Indonesia islamic boarding school Majelis Ulama and others. The result of this research showed that: 1) The dynamic of educator in boarding school initially, the teaching staff at the boarding school were only buya or ummi who taught at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Madrasah Aliyah in 1979, but since the opening of the Madrasah Aliyah Religious program in 1999, the teaching force at this boarding school has continued to increase, and now the number of educators has reached 111 people. 2) The Students at the boarding school in the beginning of its establishment experienced an increase and the highest glory was 3000 students in 2000, in 2007 decreased by 1500 students, and now the number continues to decline 760 students. 3) There are three curricula used in this boarding school, namely the Tahfizh curriculum which is implemented using the tasmi’ and muraja’ah methods, while the National curriculum is a curriculum that is applied nationally throughout Indonesia such as  K.13 and the boarding school curriculum, which is all student activities for 24 hours at the boarding school, along with teaching classical books.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how education planning, education implementation, and the obstacle to applying religious moderation values through Islamic religious education (PAI) at Maitreyawira Asahan Private Junior High School. This qualitative study uses a case study approach held at Maitreyawira Asahan Private Junior High School. The research data takes the shape of religious moderation values in schools. Data were gathered from teachers, students, and other stakeholders at Maitreyawira Asahan Private Junior High School. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, data analysis uses data reduction, data display, generating conclusions, and verification. The findings of this study demonstrated that internalization of religious moderation values could be accomplished through learning Islamic religious education, and teachers are expected to be able to provide religious guidance to students by carrying out educational planning activities and implementing education through learning Islamic religious education in order to instill tolerance in students.

Abstract

Kondisi kepadatan penghuni Lapas/Rutan yang menyulitkan pemerintah dalam mencegah dan menanggulangi penyebaran Covid-19 di dalam Lapas, mendorong pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkan kebijakan terhadap pembebasan narapidana di masa pandemi Covid-19. Kebijakan tersebut dituangkan melalui Kepmenkumham Nomor M.HH-19/PK.01.04.04 Tahun 2020 dan Permenkumham Nomor 10 Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam berdasarkan konsep Maqâṣid asy-Syarî’ah terhadap kebijakan pembebasan narapidana dalam rangka penanggulangan  Covid-19 di dalam Lapas ditinjau dari mafsadat yang ditimbulkan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian normatif (kepustakaan) dengan menggunakan berbagai pendekatan, yaitu: pendekatan undang-undang, pendekatan kasus, dan pendekatan konseptual. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa (1) Kebijakan pembebasan narapidana di masa Covid-19 dilakukan pemerintah dengan pertimbangan dapat mengurangi kepadatan Lapas guna mencegah dan menanggulangi penyebaran Covid-19. (2) Pembebasan narapidana di masa Covid-19 menimbulkan berbagai maslahat dan mafsadat (3) Dalam tinjauan Maqâṣid asy-Syarî’ah tujuan yang melatarbelakangi pembebasan narapidana di masa Covid-19 telah sesuai, yaitu untuk memelihara jiwa (hifz an-nafs) orang-orang berada di dalam Lapas. (4) Ditinjau dari mafsadatnya antara membebaskan narapidana dengan tetap membiarkan narapidana berada di dalam Lapas juga sudah sesuai dan sejalan dengan konsep Maqâṣid asy-Syarî’ah, karena menimbang antara dua kemudharatan.  (5) solusi yang ditawarkan dalam penelitian ini ialah agar pemerintah menambah kapasitas Lapas dengan merenovasi Lapas yang ada saat ini atau membangun kembali Lapas-lapas yang baru yang dapat menampung seluruh narapidana yang ada, sehingga tidak harus mengeluarkan kebijakan terkait pembebasan naprapidana dengan kondisi Pandemi saat ini yang hanya akan menghadapkan pemerintah pada dua kemudharatan yaitu membebaskan narapidana dan membiarkan mereka tetap berada di dalam lapas dengan kondisi kepadatan Lapas dan Pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Macam-macam media pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang digunakan di MAN Tanjungbalai, (2) Upaya guru agama dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di MAN Tanjungbalai, (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di MAN Tanjungbalai. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif dengan strategi pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian datra, dan kesimpulan data. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru agama (guru Fikih, Akidah Akhlak, SKI, Al-Quran Hadis) dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, guru agama di MAN Tanjungbalai menggunakan bermacam-macam media pembelajaran sebagai alat bantu mengajar, guru agama mengadakan sendiri media pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan kriteria pemilihan media, pemeliharaan media pembelajaran harus tetap dalam kondisi baik dan awet, sehingga dapat dipergunakan semaksimal mungkin. Faktor pendukung dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran adalah ketersediaan media di sekolah, rekasi positif dari siswa, adanya rasa tanggung jawab dalam pemakaian media, faktor penghambat dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran adalah tidak adanya kreativitas, kurangnya motivasi, keterbatasan dalam biaya, serta kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh guru dalam mengajar.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the legal analysis of the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a maslahah perspective. In this article there are two problems that the author will resolve, namely: first, what is the opinion of the ulama regarding the law of distributing sacrificial meat to non-Muslims. Second, how to analyze the law of distributing sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a Maslahah perspective. This research uses a qualitative method, which is carried out by collecting, analyzing and comprehensively interpreting narratives on visual data to obtain complete, thorough and holistic insight into the legal analysis of the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a maslahah perspective. The results of this research show that: first, the law on the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims among the ulama has very different opinions, if seen from the opinion of the majority of ulama, they say that it is permissible (makruh) to give food from sacrificial meat to non-Muslims in general. Furthermore, a minority of ulama are of the opinion that it is not permissible to give anything from sacrificial meat to non-Muslims at all.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Moral Education Materials in the Book of Tanbih Al - Ghafilin by Shaykh Abu Laits As-Samarqandi which can give rise to Moral Education Values that are useful for bullying prevention. This study uses a qualitative research method (library research) with the content analysis method, the researcher collects data with data collection techniques through reading literature that supports research and documentation. The results of this study show that there are moral education values that can prevent bullying in moral education materials in the Book of Tanbih Al - Ghafilin by Shaykh Abu Laits As-Samarqandi according to its nature, namely about moral mahmudah, namely: Morality towards Allah SWT, namely repentance, khauf, sincerity, tawakkal and tafakkur. Morals towards oneself are heroism, gratitude, haya', patience, prohibition of laughing out loud, prohibition of lying, restraint of emotions, maintenance of speech, virtue of gaining knowledge. Morals towards the family are friendship and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. Morals towards the community are soft-hearted (generous), mercy and compassion, charity with knowledge. And about the morals of madzmumah include: arrogant, ujub, ghibah, namimah, hasad, tyranny, greedy and delusional

Abstract

As the only province in Indonesia implementing Islamic Sharia law, Aceh has a rich historical and cultural context rooted in Islamic traditions. In the modern era, understanding how Sharia law interacts with diverse community demands is crucial. This study examines the actualization of diyah (compensation) in Aceh's Qānūn Jināyah (Crimes) using a sociological approach to Islamic law. The qualitative research method employed involves descriptive data collection. The findings reveal that the diyah law in Aceh’s Qānūn Jināyah illustrates the intricate interaction between social, cultural, legal, and religious aspects in the application and acceptance of Islamic law. Diyah serves not only as a formal legal instrument for justice but also as a reflection of the strong cultural values, religious traditions, and social norms within Acehnese society. Through sociological analysis, the study highlights how the mechanism for implementing diyah in the Qānūn Jināyah embodies the integration of Islamic law with the socio-cultural values of Acehnese society, offering insights into how Sharia law adapts to contemporary social challenges and changes.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the management of muqayyad zakat carried out by the Rumah Zakat institution in Medan. This research is a juridical-empirical or field research. The data sources for this study consist of primary and secondary data, which were collected through observational studies, interviews, and documentation. Once accumulated, the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method. This study aims to explore the management of muqayyad zakat carried out by the Rumah Zakat institution in Medan, examine the system for determining the amount of muqayyad zakat, and understand how the distribution of muqayyad zakat is governed by Islamic law based on the Maqasid Syariah framework by Jasser Auda. After conducting the research, the researcher found several results as follows: The management of muqayyad zakat at Rumah Zakat Medan, in terms of zakat collection, is specifically carried out by amil who serve as fundraisers, receiving contributions from partners and donors. In the distribution process, zakat funds are directly transferred to the parents of students and used as educational funds for the children. Utilizing muqayyad zakat is carried out by organizing educational activities such as Quran learning, surah memorization, and prayer practice. The muqayyad zakat fund for students in Medan does not have a fixed nominal amount, as the amount is determined based on the capability of the partner who provides the muqayyad zakat. The distribution of muqayyad zakat to students is in line with the objectives of Islamic law, as viewed from Jasser Auda's Maqasid Syariah theory, which includes the preservation of intellect ('aql), wealth (mal), and religion (din).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation pattern of assessment of Islamic religious education learning in fiqh material at SMAS Budi Agung Medan. The focus of the discussion is on the pattern of implementation of assessment, the effectiveness of the pattern of implementation of assessment, and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors as well as solutions to the pattern of implementation of assessment at SMAS Budi Agung Medan. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The overall data obtained was then analyzed using the miles and huberman technique, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the pattern of assessment implementation at SMAS Budi Agung Medan is carried out with three types, first diagnostic assessment, second formative assessment, third summative assessment. These three types are very effectively implemented and have long-term feedback and benefits. The supporting factors are school facilities, and the inhibiting factors are schools, teachers, parents and students at SMAS Budi Agung Medan. Highlights: Three Assessment Types: The school implements diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments effectively. Effective Implementation: These assessments provide long-term feedback and benefits in the learning process. Supporting and Inhibiting Factors: Facilities support success, while issues from schools, teachers, parents, and students pose challenges. Keywords: Pattern, Assessment, Jurisprudence

Abstract

This study is entitled “The Role of PAI Teachers in Increasing Students’ Reading Interest through Qolbu Tourism Activities at MTsN 3 Medan”, there are chronic problems in reading books due to technological advances so that physical books have been abandoned especially for students at MTsN 3 Medan so that madrasah and teachers took the initiative to implement madrasah literacy called Qolbu tourism activities in an effort to increase students’ interest in reading at MTsN 3 Medan. This is the background for researchers to want to know the reading interest of students, the role of PAI teachers in increasing students’ interest in reading through Qolbu tourism activities, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for PAI teachers in Qolbu Tourism Activities at MTsN 3 Medan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. The results of the study revealed that students’ interest in reading in Qolbu tourism activities has changed a lot as evidenced by the level of the level that more and more students are interested and happy to read books. The role of PAI teachers in increasing students’ interest in reading in qolbu tourism activities is as a motivator, director, guide and evaluator. Then the supporters and obstacles of PAI teachers on Qolbu tourism activities at MTsN 3 Medan are caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors are caused by motivation in students and external factors are caused by the environment, infrastructure and weather.
