Abstract

This research departs from the problem of Islamic mass organizations which often experience conflicts between members at the time of general elections, especially when several mass organization cadres compete to run for legislative candidates. Conflicts can arise due to a variety of factors, including conflicts of interest, internal conflicts, and conflicts with other nominees, ethical conflicts, and legal conflicts. The tasawuf approach can help conflict management for mass organization cadres by teaching values such as trustworthiness, muhasabah, tawazun, makrifah, and sincerity. Tawakal can help mass organization cadres to reduce anxiety and worry about the election results. Muhasabah can help mass organization cadres to reflect on their actions and find the right solution to resolve conflicts. Tawazun can help mass organization cadres to balance personal and mass organization interests. Makrifah can help mass organization cadres understand different perspectives and respect differences. Ikhlas can help mass organization cadres to act according to correct principles and to fight for goals that are bigger than individual goals. With the tasawuf approach in conflict management, it is a new instrument as a step to reduce the intensity of organizational conflict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki penerapan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Kh Muhammad Ali Shodiq (STAI MAS) Tulungagung, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan penelitian. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi SPMI, tantangan yang dihadapi, dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dianalisis secara tematis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa SPMI efektif meningkatkan kualitas melalui evaluasi berkelanjutan, transparansi, dan perbaikan. Tantangan termasuk resistensi perubahan, kekurangan sumber daya, dan kepatuhan standar. Manfaat SPMI dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang responsif sangat signifikan. Implikasi praktis meliputi pengembangan kebijakan, pelatihan, penguatan infrastruktur, dan peningkatan kepatuhan. Penelitian ini memiliki batasan pada fokus lembaga tunggal dan metode kualitatif. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan mengeksplorasi implementasi SPMI di berbagai konteks pendidikan dan dampak jangka panjangnya

Abstract

This research examines the cultivation of moral values in Islamic Religious Education learning to face the millennial era at MTs Dharut Tholibin. The research aims to analyze strategies, methods, and challenges in instilling moral values to millennial generation students. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through learning observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, school principal, and students, as well as documentation study. The results show that moral values cultivation is implemented through integration of digital technology with traditional learning, role modeling, religious practice habituation, and mentoring programs. Challenges faced include social media influence, digital lifestyle, and declining student interest in conventional learning. Adaptive strategies implemented include the use of digital learning media, interactive discussions on contemporary issues, and learning approaches relevant to students' lives. This research contributes to the development of effective Islamic Religious Education learning models for shaping the character of the millennial generation.

Abstract

Program Gebyar Ramadhan yang diselenggarakan oleh Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) IAIRM merupakan bentuk pengabdian masyarakat berbasis nilai yang mengintegrasikan aspek spiritual, sosial, budaya, dan edukatif dalam satu kerangka kegiatan praksis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam efektivitas kegiatan tersebut melalui empat dimensi utama: (1) perencanaan dan mobilisasi sumber daya, (2) distribusi bantuan dan dampaknya, (3) penguatan nilai budaya dan modal sosial, serta (4) evaluasi dan tantangan pelaksanaan program. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif berbasis partisipasi aktif dari para pelaku kegiatan dan masyarakat penerima manfaat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan partisipatif yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa tidak hanya menghasilkan strategi operasional yang terukur, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran kolektif atas pentingnya amal sosial menjelang Ramadhan. Mobilisasi sumber daya melalui jaringan kepercayaan sosial membuktikan kekuatan modal sosial institusi dalam menggerakkan donasi tanpa kampanye besar. Distribusi bantuan di Desa Karangpatihan memberikan dampak signifikan dalam lima dimensi utama, yakni ekonomi, sosial, spiritual, dukungan kelembagaan lokal, dan pembelajaran mahasiswa. Bantuan sembako tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai subsidi sosial informal, tetapi juga menjadi simbol komunikasi empatik dan wahana pendidikan karakter bagi mahasiswa melalui pendekatan experiential learning. Dari sisi budaya dan sosial, kegiatan ini merevitalisasi nilai-nilai gotong royong, empati, dan ukhuwah Islamiyah sebagai landasan moral yang menguatkan solidaritas komunitas. Modal sosial dalam bentuk bonding dan bridging capital berhasil difasilitasi melalui kolaborasi lintas aktor, memperluas kapasitas kolektif masyarakat dalam membangun ketahanan sosial. Evaluasi program menunjukkan adanya kekuatan dalam semangat kolektif dan legitimasi moral, namun juga mengidentifikasi tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya diversifikasi pendanaan, serta lemahnya sistem dokumentasi dan evaluasi berbasis data. Analisis SWOT menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini memiliki potensi besar untuk direplikasi dan diperluas melalui sinergi digital, kemitraan strategis, dan pendekatan berbasis bukti. Secara keseluruhan, Gebyar Ramadhan UPZ IAIRM bukan hanya sebuah kegiatan distribusi bantuan, tetapi menjadi model pengabdian masyarakat berbasis nilai yang mampu menjawab kebutuhan riil, memperkuat struktur sosial lokal, serta mendidik generasi muda melalui pengalaman sosial yang kontekstual. Temuan ini merekomendasikan penguatan institusional dan inovasi manajerial agar kegiatan serupa dapat terus berkembang dalam kerangka pembangunan sosial yang berkelanjutan dan transformatif.   Kata Kunci: Pengabdian Masyarakat, Modal Sosial, Perencanaan Partisipatif, Bantuan Ramadhan, Pembelajaran Kontekstual

Abstract

Despite being equipped with mud pockets, the Sekka-sekka Dam still requires routine maintenance due to sediment accumulation in the Primary Canal. Sediment modelling has become an effective approach to identify areas with high sedimentation to make maintenance more focused and efficient. This research aims to determine the sedimentation patterns that occur, model the transport of bed sediment, and analyse the magnitude of bed sediment transport in the D.I Maloso primary canal using Hec-Ras software. The analysis was conducted using a Quasy-Unsteady Flow approach, with input comprising cross-sectional data of the canal, a flow discharge of 33.81 m3/s, and the characteristics of the bed sediment. The simulation results indicate the presence of sediment transport along the canal, with a dominance of fine sand and medium sand fractions. The total sediment transport over one month in the upstream reached 14,551 kg/month with a sediment thickness of 0.00227 m, in the midstream 35,351 kg/month (0.00551 m), and downstream 23,791 kg/month (0.00371 m). The shear stress values were 0.0080 Pa, 0.0078 Pa, and 0.0076 Pa respectively, with a fall velocity of 0.26 m/s upstream, and 0.2 m/s in the midstream and downstream. The average sediment concentration over three months was 0.3 mg/l, with the highest concentration recorded downstream at 4.8 mg/l. This modelling demonstrates the distribution of transported sediment in the canal, with the highest accumulation downstream due to the decrease in flow velocity and shear stress.

Abstract

The upstream section of the Sekka-Sekka Weir plays an important role in the irrigation water distribution system but is highly vulnerable to sedimentation due to severe bed erosion. Excessive sedimentation can reduce the weir’s storage capacity and hinder irrigation efficiency. Therefore, this study aims to analyze flow shear stress and critical shear stress to understand the potential for sediment transport in the area. A quantitative approach was used by simulating flow conditions with HEC-RAS to obtain flow characteristics and river cross-sections under three discharge conditions: maximum, minimum, and average. Sediment samples were collected from the field and analyzed in the laboratory using sieve analysis and specific gravity tests, while critical shear stress was determined using the Shields diagram. The results showed that under maximum discharge, flow shear stress (6.169–6.181 kg/m²) far exceeded the critical shear stress (0.003–0.007 kg/m²), indicating a high potential for bed erosion. Under minimum and average discharge, flow shear stress still exceeded the critical value, but sediment transport occurred with lower intensity and more stable flow conditions. Overall, the upstream flow is capable of mobilizing sediment significantly, so proper sediment management is needed to maintain the optimal function of the weir.
