Abstract

Home Room merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dimana suatu pertemuan dengan sekelompok siswa baik didalam kelas maupun di luar kelas pada saat diluar jam pelajaran untuk membicarakan bidang belajar, sosial, pribadi, dan karir. Berangkat dari tujuan utama, peneliti hendak menguji coba Efektivitas Teknik Home Room Untuk Meningkatkan Kepekaan Sosial Siswa Kelas VIII di Mts Al-Hidayah Mangli dengan mengambil sampel siswa kelas VIII yang berlandaskan teknik penentuan dengan purposive sampling. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian quasi -experimental dengan bentuk time series design. Hasil data perbandingan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon, yakni membandingkan antara data pretest dengan posttest 1 serta membandingkan hasil data pretest dengan posttest 2. Hasil uji wilcoxon pertama adalah Z- sebesar -2,232 dan nilai asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0 ,026. Kemudian hasil uji wilcoxon kedua adalah Z-score sebesar -2,338 dan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,017. Berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis nonparametric uji wilcoxon signed rank test pada kedua perbandingan data adalah Ha diterima, sebab hubungan kedua data menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari batas ambang 0,05 (perbandingan data menyatakan adanya perubahan/peningkatan secara signifikan).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of art therapy techniques in reducing academic burnout among female students (mahasantri) at the Ibnu Katsir Islamic Boarding School in Jember. Academic burnout refers to a state of physical and emotional exhaustion caused by excessive academic pressure, often accompanied by apathy toward academic tasks and a decline in learning motivation. The demanding academic environment and intensive boarding school life may increase the risk of burnout among mahasantri. Therefore, appropriate interventions are needed to help address academic burnout and improve psychological well-being. Art therapy was chosen as a method believed to alleviate stress and emotional fatigue. The study employed an experimental design with a control group. Participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group that participated in art therapy sessions and a control group that received no intervention. Burnout levels were measured before and after the intervention using a standardized burnout questionnaire. This study aims to assess changes in burnout levels, identify the most affected burnout components (physical, emotional, and cynical attitudes), and provide recommendations for implementing art therapy in pesantren settings. The findings are expected to offer empirical evidence of the effectiveness of art therapy in reducing academic burnout and to contribute to the literature on psychological interventions in religious educational environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa kelas delapan di SMP Negeri 2 Rambipuji Jember. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Metode Purposive Sampling Area. Perencanaan karir yang dilakukan sejak dini sangat penting bagi siswa untuk membuat keputusan yang terinformasi tentang jalur pendidikan dan arah karir masa depan mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah teknik pemodelan dapat meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa kelas delapan di kelas A dan B di SMP Negeri 2 Rambipuji Jember. Data yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini meliputi pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, dan homogenitas. Analisis deskriptif dengan rumus uji t-test digunakan untuk analisis data. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Desain Eksperimen Kuasi dengan metode Desain Kelompok Kontrol Nonekuivalen. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t-test menggunakan data dari 64 siswa sebelum perlakuan (pre-test) dan 64 siswa setelah perlakuan (post-test), nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh (2-tailed) adalah 0,000, yang lebih besar dari 0,05. Dengan nilai t yang dihitung sebesar 22,176 yang melebihi nilai t tabel sebesar 1,66, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan karir siswa di kelas A dan B di SMP Negeri 2 Rambipuji Jember setelah menerapkan teknik pemodelan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of roleplaying technique in reducing verbal bullying behavior. Verbal bullying is a form of Numbern physical violence that frequently occurs among students and has negative impacts on the emotional and social development of victims. This behavior includes mocking, insulting, threatening, and using demeaning language. The roleplaying technique was chosen as a guiandce approach that allows students to play roles in specific social situations. Through this simulation, students are expected to understand others' perspectives, develop empathy, and improve their communication methods. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design, specifically a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjects were given a pre-test, then received treatment in the form of group guiandce services through roleplaying technique, and subsequently given a post-test. The research instrument used a validated verbal bullying behavior scale with data Numberrmality testing using the Shapiro-Wilk test and homogeneity test. The roleplaying intervention was conducted over 4 sessions with a duration of 90 minutes per session. Data analysis technique used paired t-test with a significance level of 0.05. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there was a significant decrease in verbal bullying behavior from an average score of 173.875 (pretest) to 102.625 (posttest) with a p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Based on the research findings, the roleplaying technique proved effective in reducing verbal bullying behavior among junior high school students. This research contributes to the development of anti-bullying intervention strategies in school environments and can serve as an alternative method that can be implemented to address similar problems in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengukur dan menanggulangi minimnya pemahaman terkait pendidikan seksualitas dengan mengembangkan suatu produk berupa modul yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode R&D (Research and Development) yang merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE dengan tujuan mengembangkan suatu produk berupa modul untuk mengentaskan suatu permasalahan minimnya pemahaman terkait pendidikan seksualitas. Luaran yang akan dihasilkan oleh peneliti untuk menanggulangi permasalahan minimnya pemahaman terkait pendidikan seksulitas, peneliti berupaya mengembangkan suatu produk yang dapat membantu guru BK dalam menangani permasalahan minimnya pemahaman terkait pendidikan seksualitas dengan mengadopsi nilai-nilai kegigihan dalam seni tari boranan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengukur dan mengatasi masalah krisis identitas dengan mengembangkan suatu produk dalam bentuk modul sekaligus sebagai acuan menangani permasalahan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengikuti model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas XI yang dipilih untuk uji coba lapangan. Krisis identitas merupakan tantangan yang kerap dialami oleh siswa di sekolah, termasuk di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Yasrama Baratan Jember. Faktor seperti tekanan sosial, perbedaan nilai antara lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah, serta minimnya eksplorasi diri yang dapat memperburuk kondisi pribadi. Jika masalah ini dibiarkan akan menjadi kepribadian minder atau kehilangan jati diri. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya metode pendidikan karakter yang lebih intensif, seperti melalui pengembangan nilai nilai adat Takbuta’an. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai kesenian tradisional Takbuta’an sebagai upaya mereduksi krisis identitas pada siswa.

Abstract

his research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) counseling using the Personal Achievement Sheet (PAS) media as an effort to increase the level of self-confidence of Plus Abdul Aziz Jember Middle School students. Self-confidence plays an important role in students' personal development and academic achievement, so effective intervention strategies are crucial in the educational context. This research method uses an experimental approach with a pre-test and post-test design and a control group. The sample consisted of 14 students divided into 2 groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The results of the analysis of the paired sample T-test showed a sig (2-tailed) score of 0.001 < 0.05, which means there was an increase in self-confidence because there was a significant difference in students' self-confidence before and after being given treatment. The data will provide an in-depth understanding of the extent to which the application of CBT counseling using PAS media can make a significant contribution to increasing students' self-confidence compared to conventional counseling methods.

Abstract

Human emotions can be categorized into two main types: pleasant and unpleasant feelings. Positive emotions, such as happiness and love, enhance well-being, while negative emotions, such as anger and sadness, can significantly impact individuals. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in improving emotion regulation among students of Ibnu Katsir 2 Jember. The method used is a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving both experimental and control groups. The participants consist of 38 students selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis using t-test shows a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.05), with the experimental group experiencing improved emotion regulation after the intervention. These findings confirm the effectiveness of REBT in reducing negative emotions and contribute to the field of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought ease of access to information and communication, but on the other hand, it has also given rise to the phenomenon of scroll culture, a habit of excessively browsing social media without a clear purpose. This behavior can reduce focus on learning, increase social anxiety, and impair students' psychological well-being. This community service activity aims to empower students through a digital well-being counseling program focused on strengthening self-awareness and emotional regulation in digital media use. The implementation method included an initial digital behavior assessment, a digital well-being counseling workshop, and individual and group mentoring using emotional regulation theory. This program was conducted over three months, involving students from various study programs. The materials provided included: (1) understanding the concept of digital well-being, (2) strategies for managing emotions in digital activities, and (3) applying mindful scrolling techniques to control the duration and quality of social media interactions. The results of the activity showed increased student awareness of the importance of digital balance and a decrease in the frequency of unproductive scrolling. Furthermore, students demonstrated improved abilities in recognizing emotions, managing online time, and using social media for self-development. This activity is expected to serve as a model of good practice for higher education institutions in developing counseling services that are adaptive to digital challenges and oriented towards student mental well-being.

Abstract

Public speaking anxiety, commonly referred to as glossophobia, is a manifestation of social phobia frequently experienced by students at the secondary education level. This condition may hinder students’ communication skills, academic participation, and the development of self-confidence. Therefore, effective and evidence-based counseling interventions are required to help students manage such anxiety. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)-based counseling services in reducing public speaking anxiety among eighth-grade students at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group model. The research participants consisted of 16 students selected through purposive sampling and assigned to either an experimental group or a control group. Data were collected before and after the intervention using a glossophobia questionnaire developed based on three main aspects: physiological, psychological, and behavioral. Data analysis was conducted to compare anxiety scores before and after the intervention. The results indicated a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group, with a significance value of p = 0.048 (p < 0.05). The experimental group showed a substantial decrease in glossophobia scores, from a mean of 72.62 to 38.88, while the control group experienced only a slight reduction from 84.63 to 43.50. These findings demonstrate that CBT-based counseling services are significantly effective in reducing public speaking anxiety among students. The results provide important implications for school guidance and counseling practices, particularly in implementing CBT interventions to help students manage glossophobia in a more adaptive manner.
