Effectiveness of CBT Approach in Group Counseling to Reduce Anxiety in Completing Thesis in Final Year Students of UNIPAR Jember. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in group counseling to reduce anxiety of final year students in completing their thesis at Universitas PGRI Argopuro (UNIPAR) Jember. Anxiety related to thesis is a common problem faced by final year students, which can hinder the academic process and completion of studies. CBT as a psychotherapy approach has been proven effective in overcoming various anxiety disorders. This study used an experimental design with pre-test and post-test methods to measure changes in students' anxiety levels before and after group counseling intervention using the CBT approach. The sample consisted of 48 final year students of UNIPAR Jember who were selected purposively, and the research procedure included providing group counseling sessions with CBT for several weeks. The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety levels after participating in CBT-based group counseling, which confirmed the effectiveness of this approach in helping students overcome anxiety related to thesis. This study contributes to the field of educational psychology by showing that the CBT approach in group counseling is effective in reducing anxiety of final year students in completing their thesis, so that it can be applied as an intervention strategy in academic environments.Keywords: Effectiveness, CBT Approach, Group Counseling, Anxiety, Completing Thesis, Students

Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang hubungan self esteem dengan perencanaan karir. Perencanaan karir merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa untuk dapat mempermudah kehidupan di masa mendatang khususnya di PPA Ibnu Katsir 1 Jember, akan tetapi banyak mahasiswa yang masih belum dapat merencanakan karir mereka, hal ini karena tingkat self esteem yang mereka miliki rendah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket yang memuat 40 item pernyataan pada angket self esteem dan perencanaan karir. Subjek uji coba instrumen adalah 21 responden di luar sampel penelitian. Dari tabel output dikenal nilai Sig. Nilai( kedua belah pihak) antara self esteem( X) serta perencanaan karir( Y) merupakan 0, 024< 0, 05. Maksudnya ada ikatan positif antara variabel self esteem dengan variabel perencanaan karir. Nilai r hitung buat ikatan antara self esteem( X) serta perencanaan karir( Y) ditemui sebesar 0, 491 r Tabel 0, 433, menampilkan kalau terdapat ikatan ataupun korelasi antara variabel self esteem serta karir. merumuskan kalau terdapat ikatan.

Penelitian dimaksudkan guna menumbuhkan keterampilan public speaking santri angkatan 2019 ibnu katsir 2 jember melalui penerapan metode modeling simbolis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis kuantitatif. Populasi adalah seluruh mahasantri angkatan 2019 dengan sampel sebanyak 5 mahasantri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan kuesioner. Sebelum angket di gunakan maka di uji validitas dan reabilitas untuk memperoleh angket yang valid. teknik analisis data yang di gunakan adalah uji wilxocon Match Pairs Tes. Hasilnya : teknik modeling simbolis efektif untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan public speaking santri angkatan 2019, terbukti dari hasil treatment memakai metode modeling simbolis yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan public speaking yang dialami oleh santri. Pada pre-test skor rata-rata 84,8 dan skor post-test pertama rata-rata 94,4 post-test kedua dengan skor rata-rata 105,4 pada post-test ketiga dengan skor rata-rata 120, dah post-test ke empat dengan skor 128. Dan di dapat pada hasil uji wilxocon Match Pairs Tes ketahui nilai Asym.Sig yakni 0,034 dibawah standar 0,05 artinya bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan public apeaking yang signifikan. Dapat di ambil kesimpulan bahwa teknik modeling simbolis efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking santri angkaran 2019 PPA ibnu katsir 2 jember.

Penelitian ini didasarkan fenomena yang terjadi pada kelas VII B SMPN Sukorambi jember yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal siswa renda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan design One Group Pre-test post-test Design. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuatitatif. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII Dengan sampel sebanyak 5. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Sebelum disebarkan angket uji validasi dan reabilitas.teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji wilcoxon match pairs test.hasil penelitian adalah efektivitas teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa SMPN sukorambi. Hal ini dibuktikan setelah pemberian treatment teknik sosiodrama sebanyak 4 kali dan setiap treatment dilakukan post-test sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil perhitungan rata-rata saat pre-test dan post-test mengalami peningkatan pada siswa memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal rendah. Pada pre-test diperoleh skor rata rata 65 dan skor rata-rata pos- test 131,4 dan didapatkan selisih antara skor pre-test dan post-test sebesar 65. Dan didapatkan pada analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon match pairs asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,042 nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 maka bisa diartikan bahwa ada perbedaan pada kecerdasan interpersonal siswa yang signifikan untuk pretest dan posttest (Hipotesis diterima), dengan hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa SMPN sukorambi Jember

Adolescence is a stage of human development that has entered a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence is the starting point for human physical development to mature. The values contained in the remo dance are an attraction in module development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of creating a new module that can help overcome the identity crisis of students. The method used in this study uses the ADDIE design which includes five stages of development, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The module's feasibility test is carried out by validation. The students who were the samples were observed and interviewed to test the success of the module. The sample used in the study was Ibn Katsir students who had previously obtained informed consent. The results of this study indicate that the learning module created by taking the values of the remo dance is declared feasible for use by teachers in solving identity crisis problems. The results of the study also show that students who have received learning using this module experience changes in themselves. The development of the remo dance is said to be able to help students in solving identity crisis problems. The impact of creating this latest module can be the latest method that can later be used by teachers who want to help students overcome identity crises. The novelty of this research is the use of the ADDIE method, making it easier for readers to understand the contents of the research. This study aims to examine and develop the tradition of Ngawuwuh as an effective method for enhancing empathy among the students (mahasantri) at Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Katsir. Ngawuwuh, which is a tradition of sharing and giving without expecting anything in return, holds noble values that are relevant to character building and empathy. However, this tradition has started to erode due to the influence of modern lifestyles, which tend to be individualistic, as well as the lack of meaningful social interactions among the younger generation, including the mahasantri. The decline in empathy among mahasantri is the main issue addressed in this research. In the pesantren environment, which should ideally be one that educates and fosters good character, challenges have emerged in maintaining and developing empathy amidst external influences such as technology and individualism. This highlights the need for a more focused character education method, such as through the development of the Ngawuwuh tradition. The general aim of this research is to develop the Ngawuwuh tradition as an educational strategy to enhance empathy among the mahasantri at Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Katsir. This study is expected to produce innovative and relevant character education methods, as well as restore the role of local traditions as an important tool in shaping personality and positive social values among the younger generation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the game “two truths and a lie” in increasing self-awareness. Self-awareness is a person's ability to understand oneself deeply, both in terms of emotions, thoughts, and actions. The Two Truths and a Lie game is a social game that is often used for introductions or building intimacy in groups. In this game, each participant takes turns delivering three statements about themselves. Two of the statements must be true (truth) and one statement must be false (lie). The other participants have to guess which statement is a lie. By using “Two Truths and a Lie,” students can get to know each other better, which is an important first step in the guidance and counseling process. This study uses an experimental research method, which aims to determine the effectiveness of the Two Truths and a Lie game treatment on students' Self-awareness. In this study, the design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, where the results of children's abilities are measured before and after being given treatment. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' Self-awareness after being given the Two Truths and a Lie game. Statistical testing using the Wilcoxon test indicated an increase in students' Self-awareness. On positive ranks in the test, 12 students showed an increase in Self-awareness from pretest to posttest. In addition, there was no decrease in students' Self-awareness.

This research aims to develop a module-based intervention to mitigate narcissistic behavior among adolescents. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) method, this study follows the ADDIE model, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. A total of 12 eighth-grade students participated in the field testing. Narcissistic behavior is characterized by excessive self-love, disregarding others' feelings and needs. If left unchecked, this tendency can evolve into an abnormal or unhealthy personality trait. This underscores the need for targeted character education strategies, such as incorporating Nyuguh cultural values. The overarching objective of this research is to develop Nyuguh cultural values as a character education strategy to reduce narcissistic behavior

This study aims to determine the contribution of the intensity of participation in psychoeducational group guidance to the academic emotions of students in Jember Islamic boarding schools. Academic emotions play an important role in determining the quality of students' learning, while psychoeducational group guidance provides space for students to recognize, express, and manage their emotions positively in the context of learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The population in this study were students who actively participated in group guidance activities in several Islamic boarding schools in Jember, with samples selected purposively. The instruments used were a questionnaire on the intensity of participation and an academic emotion scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the regression analysis showed that the intensity of participation in psychoeducational group guidance contributed significantly to students' academic emotions (p <0.05), with a contribution of 30% (R² = 0.30). This finding indicates that the more intense the participation of students in group guidance activities, the more positive the academic emotions they have. This study recommends that Islamic boarding schools integrate psychoeducational programs more systematically in student guidance activities.

In facing the challenges of the digital economy and the global recession, the ability to produce creative digital-based content is an important need for students and young Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The community service partners in this activity consist of a community of student entrepreneurs and young Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jember City, who have products but have difficulty in promoting and building brand visibility through digital media. The main problems faced by partners are low skills in creating effective video marketing content and the suboptimal instillation of character values in business promotion. As a solution, the community service team carried out intensive training and mentoring based on the 7 Great Habits of Indonesian Children combined with basic video marketing techniques. The methods used include technical video-making workshops, character-based product storytelling sessions, and direct practice in creating and publishing promotional videos on social media. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' skills in creating short videos that are interesting and contain character values, as well as increased participant confidence in marketing products digitally. This activity shows that a value-based training approach and creative practice can be an effective strategy in increasing the digital capacity of the younger generation and MSMEs in facing today's economic challenges.
