This research is part of an experimental study using Problem Based Learning model to improve junior high school students' mathematical numeracy skills based on ethnomathematics. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of Validity, Reliability, Difficulty Index, and Discriminatory Power of the ethnomathematics-based numeracy ability test instrument for junior high school students. The instrument used was in the form of essay test questions from pretest and posttest questions. The calculation of validity, reliability, difficulty index, and discriminatory power used IBM SPSS Statistics 20. The results of this study showed that the pretest and posttest questions were valid with sig (2-tailed) values 0.05. The calculation results of the pretest questions showed that the essay question instrument fell into the reliable category, because the calculation result obtained was 0.690, making it suitable for use as an instrument for data collection. The difficulty level of pretest and posttest questions fell into the easy and moderate categories. The discriminatory power criteria of the questions were moderate and good. Based on these research results, the ethnomathematics-based student numeracy ability test instrument is suitable for use.

Training and assistance in writing scientific journal articles for students of Al Azhar Medan Superior High School is carried out as an effort to improve students' academic literacy. This activity is based on the low ability of students to write scientific papers systematically, even though they have high academic potential. The method of implementing activities was carried out through face-to-face training for three days and online/offline assistance for two weeks. The activity was attended by 25 students of grade XI, and was evaluated using pre-test, post-test, observation, and assessment of writing results. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score from 58.2 to 82.4, the number of students who were able to compile complete articles increased from 4 to 20 people, and eight articles were declared worthy of publication. In addition, 92% of students stated that this activity was very beneficial. This activity shows that participatory training approaches and systematic mentoring are effective in improving students' scientific literacy. The program also contributes to the formation of an academic culture and sustainable scientific writing skills at the high school level.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model assisted by the Kahoot application on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and examine its effectiveness in the learning process. This experimental study used a pretest–posttest control group design. The population consisted of 55 tenth-grade students of SMKS Al Washliyah Pasar Senen 2 Medan. Probability sampling selected two classes: experimental (30 students) and control (25 students). Research instruments included problem-solving tests and learning effectiveness questionnaires. Results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher posttest mean score (46.33) than the control class (36.59). A t-test indicated a significant difference (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Questionnaire results showed a “very good” category with 87.8% and 85.28% for experimental and control classes, respectively. This proves that applying the AIR model assisted by Kahoot effectively improves students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. The objectives of this activity are: (1) Improving the ability of teachers to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students. (2) Cultivating teachers to apply innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning in every activity (3) Improving teacher professional competence and pedagogy, especially in improving teacher competence through interactive learning models, the method used consists of (a) Counseling is intended to improve knowledge and understanding of innovative learning models, (b) Training, which is carried out by providing opportunities to practice accepted learning models. (c) Assistance, intended as a follow-up to this activity service. Assistance to teachers can be an advisor to problems faced in schools. Therefore, this training intends to improve teacher competence through interactive learning training as a learning medium at MAS Aliyah Tahfizil Qur’an Medan and how the competence of teachers in utilizing interactive learning models.

Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik pada dasarnya adalah pemanfaatan realita dan lingkungan yang dipahami peserta didik untuk memperlancar proses pembelajaran matematika sehingga mencapai tujuan pendidikan matematika secara lebih baik daripada masa lalu. Proses pembelajaran matematika realistik menggunakan masalah kontekstual sebagai titik awal dalam belajar matematika. Siswa diberi kesempatan untuk mengorganisasi masalah dan mencoba mengidentifikasi aspek matematika yang ada pada masalah tersebut. Misalnya dalam penanaman pohon .Proses pembelajaran peranan guru bukan semata-mata memberikan informasi, melainkan juga mengarahkan dan memberi fasilitas belajar. Proses pembelajaran pada awalnya meminta guru untuk mengetahui kemampuan dasar yang dimiliki oleh siswa meliputi kemampuan dasarnya, motivasinya, latar belakang akademisnya, dan lain sebagainya.

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan proses implementasi keilmuan yang dipelajari di perguruan tinggi guna memberikan manfaat seluas-luasnya bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan anak-anak di RA-Nur Islam Kota Medan dengan organ-organ sensorik utama melalui penerapan model anatomi sensorik. Penerapan model anatomi sensorik dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret dan menarik. Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di RA-Islam Nur Kota Medan metode yang digunakana selama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskribtif dimana kegiatannya dimulai dari perencanaan/persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada kegiatan ini kami menggunakan model anatomi sensorik ini agar dapat membantu siswa/I mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana organ-organ sensorik mereka bekerja. Memahami anatomi sensorik dapat membantu dalam merancang aktivitas yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak, seperti kejelian dalam melihat, mendengar, merasakan sesuatu seperti menggunakan tangan dan jari dengan lebih terampil dalam menanggapi stimulus sensorik. Berdasarkan pada pengabdian masyarakat yang kami lakukan maka dapat dikatakan bahwa model anatomi sensorik terbukti menjadi model pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak di RA-Nur Islam Kota Medan.

Most RA teachers still face challenges in developing online learning tools that suit children's needs. Technological skills and appropriate pedagogical approaches are determining factors for the success of online teaching at the RA level. The aim is to increase teacher competency, increase student involvement and change learning approaches. The methods that will be used are Initial Information Collection, Training Design, Training Implementation, Learning Tool Development, and Learning Tool Testing. an overview of the results that have been achieved as well as a discussion regarding the impacts and changes that occurred after attending the training. Community service in the form of online learning tool development training for RA teachers has had a significant impact in improving competence and skills in online learning. concluded that this training had a positive impact on the student learning experience, encouraging more active and interactive involvement. The results of the implementation are, More than 90% of RA teachers actively participate in all training sessions. The training modules are designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the basic concepts of developing online learning tools. RA teachers have developed online learning tools based on the modules provided. have been studied, the learning tools developed are tested with students. The results of the trials are used to make improvements and adjustments, producing devices that are more effective and suit the characteristics of young children.

This study aims to describe the types of mathematics learning difficulties experienced by students at MTs Muallimin Univa Medan and the contributing factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 7th- grade students and mathematics teachers. Data collection was conducted through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and diagnostic test analysis. The results showed that the students' main difficulties included difficulty in understanding abstract concepts, weaknesses in basic arithmetic operations, and low contextual problem-solving abilities. The factors causing these difficulties stem from internal factors (low motivation and math anxiety) and external factors (less varied teaching methods and lack of learning support at home).

Technological developments require teachers to integrate interactive digital media to improve the quality of 21st-century learning. However, early observations at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin showed that the utilization of web-based learning media was not optimal despite the availability of supporting facilities. This community service activity aims to introduce the Wordwall platform as an interactive learning media solution and to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence in operating its features. The implementation method uses a learning-by-doing approach, which includes the preparation stage, workshops through lectures and demonstrations, independent practice in content creation, and evaluation. The results show a significant increase in teachers’ understanding and technical skills in developing digital learning media. Teachers were able to explore quiz features, games, and even printable formats (PDF) to overcome network constraints. In conclusion, this activity successfully narrowed the digital literacy gap and increased teacher motivation to create a more dynamic and student-centered learning environment at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin.
