Mathematics in essence grows from skills or activities of the cultural environment, so that a person's mathematics is influenced by his cultural background. Ethnomatematics is a complex and dynamic representation that describes the cultural influence of the use of mathematics in its application. From ethnomathematics researchers will research and analyze food and musical instruments in Pasar Kamuu. From food and musical instruments in Pasar Kamu to research from culture associated with mathematics. The food and musical instruments used by researchers were long endok food, ciwel cakes, dange cakes, putu bamboo cakes and musical instruments namely drum percussion, accordion, and barrel bonang. This study aims to analyze mathematics in food and musical instruments for learning mathematics and to find out the relationship between ethnomathematics and food and musical instruments in Pasar Kamu so that it can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This research is a type of descriptive research that uses a qualitative research approach methodology. Based on the results of the assistance and coding that has been carried out by the researchers, it is known that there is an ethnomathematics connection with food and musical instruments at Pasar Kamu Market so that it can be used as a source of learning mathematics in the material, namely: a. Area and Circumference of Flat Shape, b. Space Build Volume

Masih kurangnya kreatifitas guru dalam menggunakan alat peraga yang menunjang perkembangan motorik siswa khususnya dalam mempelajari mengenal bilangan matematika sehingga dapat menimbulkan rasa kebosanan pada siswa.Tujuan dari pelaksanan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu cara menggunakan alat permainan edukatif (APE) dalam pembelajaran matematika dan melihat kemampuan motorik siswa dalam menggunakan alat permainan tradisional. Metode Pelaksanaan dengan presentasi dan simulasi yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Matematika FKIP Universitas Al Washliyah Medan. Alat permainan edukatif yang sengaja dirancang khususnya untuk menunjang terselenggaranya pembelajaran anak secara efektif dan menyenangkan, serta sebagai sarana yang dapat merangsang aktivitas anak untuk mempelajari sesuatu tanpa anak menyadarinya dan yang dirancang secara multiguna sehingga anak dapat melatih berbagai motorik halus, mengenal konsep warna, bentuk dan ukuran.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan metode Technology- Based Learning (TBL) terhadap peningkatan literasi numerasi siswa kelas 10 SMA Al-Washliyah. Dengan desain eksperimental menggunakan kelompok kontrol acak, penelitian melibatkan dua kelompok: kelompok yang menerima pembelajaran dengan metode TBL menggunakan simulasi web PhET Colorado dan kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Data hasil pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari metode pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan literasi numerasi siswa. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa kelompok yang menerima pembelajaran dengan metode TBL mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil posttest dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Integrasi teknologi, khususnya melalui simulasi web, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik, mendukung peningkatan literasi numerasi siswa.

Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1. Pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbasis Etnomatematika untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi matematik siswa SMP Al-Manar Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2022-2023. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh thitung> ttabel yaitu (2,965>1,675). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung> ttabel dengan demikian hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima Artinya ada pengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi matematik siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbasis Etnomatematika. 2. Dapat Dilihat kemampuan matematika siswa berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan respon angket siswa diperoleh masing-masing nilai rata-rata dan persentase dengan kategori “Sangat Baik†dan kategori “Baikâ€. sehingga didapat nilai keseluruhan 1305 serta rata-rata 43,5 dengan persentase 84,1% dalam kategori “Sangat Baikâ€. Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui respon atau tanggapan siswa terhadap kemampuan matematika menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbasis Etnomatematika di SMP Al-Manar  MedanKata kunci : Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), Etnomatematika, Literasi Numerasi Matematik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan graphing calculator dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas VIII MTs Nurus Salam terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu jumlah seluruh kelas VIII MTs Nurus Salam Deli Tua berjumlah 240 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-2 MTs Nurus Salam sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII-4 MTs Nurus Salam sebagai kelas control dengan jumlah seluruh sampel 60 siswa, karena kedua kelas tersebut memenuhi criteria dari populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan cara menyusun data pretest dan posttest dalam bentuk tabel, menghitung nilai rata-rata, menghitung standar deviasi, menghitung uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Kontekstual Berbantuan Graphing Calculator Terhadap Kemampuan Pemacahan Masalah Matematis siswa MTs Nurus Salam Kelas VIII Tahun Pembelajaran 2022-2023. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh thitung>ttabelyaitu (8,038>1,580).

This article is a literature review which aims to provide a study of learning strategies that can be used to improve students' mathematical literacy skills in Indonesia which are still low. In this article, we discuss the factors that cause low mathematical literacy, such as personal factors, instructional factors, and environmental factors and indicators that are used as a reference for the level of mathematical literacy abilities possessed by students. This article also discusses the strategies that have been used by researchers in the research they conducted and stated that they were successful in improving students' mathematical literacy skills with the strategies and use of the learning models they used. So it can be concluded that students' low mathematical literacy skills can be overcome and improved through the use of learning strategies such as learning strategies using the Problem Based Instruction model, learning strategies using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the SQ4R Strategy as well as other strategies that are appropriate and appropriate to the environment. learning around.

The ability to understand mathematical concepts of students is still relatively low, so that more factual learning is needed for students, one of which is with thei eithnomatheimatics approach. This study aims to deiteirminei thei eiffeict of thei eithnomatheimatics approach at thei Simalungun Museium on studeints' ability to undeirstand matheimatical conceipts. This study is a Quasi-Eixpeirimeint study with a samplei of class X-3 of 36 studeints. Thei data analysis teichniquei useis thei t-teist, nameily thei Paireid Samplei T Teist with thei heilp of IBM SPSS Statistics 25 softwarei. Thei reisults of thei study showeid that was reijeicteid, wheirei thei is and thei valuei is , so it can bei concludeid that theirei is an eiffeict of thei eithnomatheimatics approach at thei Simalungun Museium on thei ability to undeirstand matheimatical conceipts of class X studeints of SMA Budi Mulia Peimatang Siantar. The researcher hopes that this research will be one of the inputs for the mathematics learning curriculum and can be used as basic material for balancing contextual mathematics learning materials based on local culture.

Based on the background of the problem in this research, namely the low mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School due to their lack of mathematical communication skills to learn and participate actively in mathematics lessons, the learning model applied so far seems monotonous which is still centered on teachers and mathematics learning in The Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, especially in terms of building materials, has not implemented the Animaker learning model and media. The aims of this research are: 1) to determine the effect of the Inside Outside Circle type cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication abilities of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, 2) to determine the effectiveness of using Animaker media on the mathematical communication abilities of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School. Based on the results of test calculations at a significance level of a - 5%, it is known that the t count is (19.716 > 2.032), then Ho is rejected and H is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Inside Outside Circle type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills with the help of Animaker. Based on students' mathematical communication skills with the help of Animaker using a student response questionnaire, each student's average score and percentage were obtained in the "Very Good" category. The questionnaire was used to determine student responses to students' mathematical communication skills using the Inside Outside Circle learning model assisted by Animaker

Training and assistance in writing scientific journal articles for students of Al Azhar Medan Superior High School is carried out as an effort to improve students' academic literacy. This activity is based on the low ability of students to write scientific papers systematically, even though they have high academic potential. The method of implementing activities was carried out through face-to-face training for three days and online/offline assistance for two weeks. The activity was attended by 25 students of grade XI, and was evaluated using pre-test, post-test, observation, and assessment of writing results. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score from 58.2 to 82.4, the number of students who were able to compile complete articles increased from 4 to 20 people, and eight articles were declared worthy of publication. In addition, 92% of students stated that this activity was very beneficial. This activity shows that participatory training approaches and systematic mentoring are effective in improving students' scientific literacy. The program also contributes to the formation of an academic culture and sustainable scientific writing skills at the high school level.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model assisted by the Kahoot application on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and examine its effectiveness in the learning process. This experimental study used a pretest–posttest control group design. The population consisted of 55 tenth-grade students of SMKS Al Washliyah Pasar Senen 2 Medan. Probability sampling selected two classes: experimental (30 students) and control (25 students). Research instruments included problem-solving tests and learning effectiveness questionnaires. Results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher posttest mean score (46.33) than the control class (36.59). A t-test indicated a significant difference (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Questionnaire results showed a “very good” category with 87.8% and 85.28% for experimental and control classes, respectively. This proves that applying the AIR model assisted by Kahoot effectively improves students’ mathematical problem-solving ability.
