Abstract

The optimization of wasted materials, especially local fly ash, provides space to be used as a construction material with the potential to partially replace cement without reducing the mechanical strength of concrete bricks to a proportion of 20%. Using waste materials like fly ash will provide economic value, environmental sustainability, and strength and durability. A mixture of local sand, PCC cement, and fly ash material is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. Concrete bricks or commonly called paving blocks are products with sand, water, and cement compositions, as well as waste materials, the installation and maintenance of concrete bricks is very easy and can be formed with various variations that provide aesthetic aspects, the mechanical parameters of concrete bricks are 3, 14, and 28 days old compressive strength tests with a total of 75 samples with a quality classification D. Weight ratio 1:4 cement,  sand and cement water 0.58. The weight of the cement determines the amount of fly ash. The performance of fly ash waste-substitution concrete bricks by 10% produced a quality of 11,674 MPa in 28 days.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya dalam membangun kedekatan dan motivasi belajar anak-anak (TK hingga kelas 6 SD) melalui Program Kegiatan Literasi Binaan Rumah Zakat. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan dan minat literasi di Indonesia, Padahal, literasi dan motivasi belajar adalah fondasi krusial bagi keberhasilan hidup dan perkembangan karakter anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung di lapangan dan wawancara dengan narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Literasi Binaan Rumah Zakat telah berjalan dengan baik melalui serangkaian kegiatan terstruktur yang berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan literasi, penguatan karakter, serta dukungan psikososial. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan meliputi: Literasi (Membaca dan Menulis), yang berfokus pada pembiasaan membaca rutin, peningkatan pemahaman kritis, dan pengembangan kreativitas, Mengaji Bersama (Iqro dan Al-Qur’an), untuk membekali anak dengan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an, Kegiatan Menari, yang berfungsi sebagai strategi literasi budaya untuk memperkuat jati diri dan nilai sosial, dan Bermain Games, sebagai sarana utama untuk memicu daya cipta dan memperoleh pengetahuan baru. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan literasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak, tetapi juga berhasil membangun kedekatan, memicu motivasi belajar, serta mengembangkan karakter inovatif dan kreatif, yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Middle East conflict on the financial performance of contractor companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have contributed to rising energy prices, supply chain disruptions, and increased global financial uncertainty, which may indirectly influence firm-level profitability, particularly in capital-intensive sectors such as construction. This research aims to analyze the effect of internal financial indicators Cash Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Firm Size, and Inventory Turnover on Return on Assets (ROA) within the context of geopolitical instability. Using a quantitative research design, this study employs panel data derived from the annual financial statements of contractor companies listed on the IDX during the observation period. Multiple regression analysis is utilized to examine both the partial and simultaneous effects of liquidity, leverage, firm size, and operational efficiency on profitability. The findings indicate that internal financial characteristics significantly influence ROA. Liquidity plays an important role in maintaining operational stability, although excessive cash holdings may reduce asset efficiency. Leverage is found to increase financial vulnerability during periods of uncertainty, while larger firms demonstrate greater resilience due to stronger access to capital and diversified operations. Inventory turnover also contributes to profitability by reflecting operational efficiency, although it may be affected by global supply chain disruptions. This study contributes to the literature by integrating external geopolitical risk considerations with firm-level financial ratio analysis in an emerging market context. The results provide practical implications for corporate managers, investors, and policymakers in formulating financial strategies to enhance resilience against global geopolitical instability, particularly within the construction sector.

Abstract

The leadership behavior at PT PLN (Persero) has significant implications for the formation, development, and change of the organizational culture within the company. When leaders demonstrate behaviors that promote values such as integrity, collaboration, and innovation, this can positively influence the organizational culture. The objective of this research is to explore how leadership behavior at PT PLN (Persero) affects the formation and development of the organizational culture within the company. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review. The findings of this research indicate that all patterns of leadership behavior at PT PLN have a significant impact on the motivation, commitment, and performance of employees towards the company's goals and values. Inspirational and empowering leadership fosters an organizational culture based on loyalty and dedication.

Abstract

Transformational leaders provide autonomy and responsibility to employees, allowing them to take initiative and contribute actively to organizational goals. The aim of this research is to understand the role of transformational leadership in influencing human resource management strategies to support innovation within the State Electricity Company. The research method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership is not just about managing organizations but also about building a culture that continuously seeks ways to improve and innovate, ensuring that the State Electricity Company remains competitive and relevant in facing the challenges of the future electricity industry.

Abstract

Leader and leadership are two concepts that are interrelated and cannot be separated. In this context, leadership training is considered an important need for Mizanul Ulum Islamic Boarding School as a partner in the community service program, which provides support through facilities, infrastructure and human resources for the smooth running of the training. This leadership training activity is a form of collaboration between service lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Management Science Study Program at the Indonesian Muslim University, and Mizanul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Takalar Regency. The training applies lecture methods, active participation and discussion. The training program is implemented through several stages, including observation, preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results realized by the participants show that this training has provided useful knowledge and prepared the participants, especially young Islamic students, to face the challenges of increasingly fierce competition in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of taxpayer awareness and tax knowledge on taxpayer compliance in paying Land and Building Tax (PBB), with tax culture as a moderating variable. The research was conducted in Bangkalaloe Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. A quantitative approach was employed with data collected from 350 respondents using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that taxpayer awareness has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance (β = 0.171; t = 2.105 > 1.96). Tax knowledge also has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance (β = 0.830; t = 10.541 > 1.96). Furthermore, tax culture significantly moderates the relationship between taxpayer awareness and compliance (t = 116.059 > 1.96) as well as the relationship between tax knowledge and compliance (t = 48.821 > 1.96). These findings indicate that awareness, knowledge, and tax culture are key determinants of PBB compliance in rural communities. The government is encouraged to intensify tax socialization and strengthen tax culture through community-based approaches in order to optimize PBB revenue achievement.

Abstract

This study investigates a slider system used to transfer a CNC-manufactured crankshaft to the next production stage through dynamic simulation prior to motor installation. The simulation aims to determine the velocity, acceleration, and displacement of the slider under the influence of the crankshaft mass and applied torque in order to select a suitable driving motor. The research begins with the design and fabrication of the slider, followed by the definition of design parameters, including torque variations of 100, 130, and 150 N·mm, a travel length of 1 m, a crankshaft mass of 7.8 kg, and gravitational acceleration of 9.81 m/s². The dynamic simulation is performed by applying rotational input to the wheel, defining contact interactions between the wheel and the rail, and assembling the wheel with the rail track. The results show that among the three torque variations, the highest velocity and acceleration occur at a torque of 100 N·mm, yielding a velocity of 174.9 mm/s, an acceleration of 22 mm/s², and a reaction force of 1.47 × 10³ N, resulting in a travel time of 11 s to cover a 1-meter track.

Abstract

The main problems of this study are: 1) To determine the influence of organizational culture and social support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). 2) To determine the influence of organizational culture and social support on organizational commitment. 3) To determine the influence of organizational culture and social support on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The data source used in this research is primary data collected through questionnaires. The sampling technique applied is saturated sampling, where all members of the population are used as samples. Therefore, the sample in this study consists of all employees of the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of South Sulawesi Province, totaling 105 respondents. Data were processed using SmartPLS version 3.0. The findings of this study reveal that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on OCB through increased organizational commitment. Social support also has a positive and significant effect on OCB through enhanced organizational commitment. The implications of this study are: 1) The results show a positive and significant statistical coefficient between organizational culture and OCB among employees of the Secretariat of the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD, meaning that a strong organizational culture encourages employees to engage in behaviors beyond their formal duties. 2) Social support also has a positive and significant effect on OCB, indicating that a supportive work environment can enhance employee contributions. 3) This indicates that organizational commitment moderates the relationship between organizational culture and social support toward OCB, so that high commitment strengthens the influence of both on employees' OCB.
