Abstract

Distance Meaasuring Equipment (DME) is one of the flight navigation equipment that functions to provide distance guidance to the aircraft to the airport to be addressed. The condition of any equipment used in aviation needs to be ensured that it is always in a normal state by carrying out maintenance according to procedures. The high complexity and precision in maintenance can affect the ability to remember or cognitive load of a technician. The purpose of this research is to design DME maintenance procedures in the form of Augmented Reality applications to overcome the cognitive load of technicians so as to minimize human error and increase the effectiveness of maintenance activities. This research uses the prototype method to design Augmented Reality DME applications that suit user needs. The information displayed is an indicator check, measurement of supporting facilities and reading of DME parameter values. Users can access DME maintenance procedures through an android device. The results of the evaluation of the DME Augmented Reality application using Functional suitability testing found that all features or menus can operate properly without errors. Thus, this application can be used to assist technicians in improving the effectiveness of the Thales 435 Brand DME maintenance procedure.

Abstract

Di era zaman sekarang ini bidang elektronika kini semakin maju, salah satunya adalah di bidang audio video.Berkembangnya teknologi elektronika tentunya membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan industri. Workshop pemasangan audio amplifier guna digunakan untuk musholla Al Ikhwan di Desa Bojong Indah, Kecamatan Parung, Kabupaten Bogor diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam pemasangan audio amplifier yang tepat dan sesuai dengan standar keselamatan, serta meningkatkan kualitas suara dan ibadah bagi masyarakat muslim atau jamaah di musholla Al Ikhwan. Workshop ini diikuti oleh pengurus musholla dan warga sekitar yang memiliki kepentingan terkait penggunaan audio amplifier di musholla. Selama workshop, peserta dibimbing untuk memahami prinsip dasar penggunaan dan pemasangan audio amplifier, memilih jenis dan ukuran audio amplifier yang tepat, serta melakukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan secara berkala untuk memperpanjang usia pakai alat. Peserta juga diajarkan cara memasang audio amplifier secara benar dan sesuai dengan standar keselamatan. Dengan demikian, peserta akan memiliki keterampilan yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pemasangan dan perawatan audio amplifier di musholla Al Ikhwan. Diharapkan dengan adanya workshop ini, kualitas suara dan pengalaman beribadah jamaah di musholla Al Ikhwan dapat meningkat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab  kerusakan pada modul synthesizer transmitter 1 Doppler Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) dengan Merk Selex Type 1150 A  di Perum LPPNPI Cabang Banjarmasin.Teknisi melihat pancaran DVOR dibagian main select dan antenna tidak dapat tersinkonisasi dengan benar, dimana seharusnya pancaran DVOR ada pada main select transmitter 1 namun terpancar pada transmitter 2. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya fungsi peralatan dari DVOR dan kegagalan fungsi DVOR sebagai homing. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu metode analisa,proses perbaikan dan uji coba.Penyebab kerusakan pada modul synthesizer transmitter 1 DVOR Merk Selex Type 1150 A disebabkan karena rusaknya sebuah fuse pada modul synthesizer transmitter 1 dimana fuse berfungsi sebagai pemutus tegangan tinggi yang masuk ke modul synthesizer untuk mencegah kerusakan langsung terhadap modul tersebut. Permasalahan ini telah diselesaikan dengan cara mengganti fuse di modul synthisizer transmitter 1 kemudian DVOR sudah normal operasi baik dari sisi darat dan pilot sebagai user dari peralatan DVOR.

Abstract

Capacity building that supports the career of aviation inspectors, one of which is by writing papers. The need for partners, namely the Directorate of Aviation Navigation, will increase the competence of navigation inspectors to write papers, so scientific writing training is held. This activity is carried out for 5 days with lecture and practice methods. there are 5 main materials that are the subject of discussion and 9 sub-topics and added with practice. Of the 25 participants, 95% stated that it was useful and 100% succeeded in making the manuscript and submitting the article. Further assistance is needed so that participants can conduct research or studies and publish written works in reputable journals

Abstract

The development of navigation equipment, both ground-based and satellite-based for flight operations, is the key to service, the development of air navigation technology needs to be known by stakeholders in flight operations, it is deemed necessary for personnel on duty at airports to know the development of air navigation technology, some of the equipment installed At airports there are provisions to be free from obstructions so that the equipment can operate properly by flight operational standards and conditions. This activity aims to provide airport staff with an introduction to aviation navigation technology. This activity was carried out online and was attended by 20 staff from airport service units in Indonesia. Based on the evaluation of the activity, it was found that the participants were able to understand the material, some participants felt that it was still necessary to provide visualization of the performance of navigation equipment because the activity was carried out online and required teaching material that used illustrations so that participants could maximize their understanding of aviation navigation technology.

Abstract

Vocational school students are vocational schools that are at the forefront of the industrial world. This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out based on concerns about the condition of several vocational schools with practical facilities that were still below standard. The responsibility of universities is not only to produce students but also to improve the surrounding area so that the benefits are also felt in society. The PKM scheme that will be implemented is an Assisted School-based Scheme (PKM-SB). PKM's partner is Prima Bakti Vocational School with a "B" or Very Good accreditation. Partners do not have adequate facilities for the Industrial Electronics Engineering major, especially for basic electronics lessons. Therefore, the activities that will be carried out will involve assisting Prima Bakti Vocational School teachers in creating practical modules and basic electronics trainer kits. The practical module is adapted to the curriculum and syllabus currently being implemented in schools for grade 9 students in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects. The module in the form of a practical job sheet is a basic competency of knowledge and skills consisting of 14 experiments. The modules and trainer kit have been tested for their function properly and have been tested on students. The implementation of PKM activities also evaluated the level of satisfaction from PKM partners, namely productive teachers and the management of SMKS Prima Bakti school, with 100% satisfaction. The hope is that this PKM can boost the accreditation ranking and quality of human resources for graduating Prima Bakti Vocational High School students.

Abstract

Check-in service is the initial stage of passenger departure that plays a critical role in the smooth operation of airport terminals. This study aims to assess the timeliness of passenger service at the check-in counter area of the Domestic Terminal at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, and to evaluate whether the service provided meets the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation Regulation No. PM 30 of 2021, which states a maximum service time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds per passenger. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method through direct observation of 120 passengers across eight domestic airlines. The results show that the average check-in service time is 161.48 seconds, with a standard deviation of 51.5 seconds, indicating that the service exceeds the stipulated time standard. Contributing factors include an insufficient number of active counters, limited staff, and suboptimal utilization of self check-in technology. The study recommends the implementation of self baggage drop facilities to enhance service efficiency and reduce queuing times. Successful implementation of this technology requires passenger education, user-friendly machine interfaces, and the presence of assisting personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Abstract

Digital transformation in operational data management is a strategic need for modern aviation institutions. Unit Apron Movement Control (AMC) at BLU UPBU Office Class I Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto Samarinda faced the problem of delay in data processing due to dependence on the Microsoft Excel application which shows limitations in supporting operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Google Spreadsheet as an alternative data processing system solution to overcome these problems and optimize information management in the AMC unit. The research method uses a comparative qualitative approach with triangulation data collection techniques, including participatory observation of the implementation of existing data processing systems, in -depth interviews with the head of the AMC unit and operational personnel, as well as documentation analysisrelevant administrative.Data was analyzed descriptively to compare the effectiveness and efficiency of the two data processing systems. The results of the study demonstrated that the implementation of Google Spreadsheet provides a significant increase in the efficiency and effectiveness of AMC unit data processing by achieving an increase in data accuracy, reduction of processing time up to 60-70%, broader accessibility, and reductionSignificant operational costs, while ensuring data security through controlled access protocols and reliable backup systems ..The advantages of the system include real-time processing capabilities, integrated collaboration facilitation between units, and error risk mitigation and delay in information processing. These findings indicate a significant potential for the use of digital collaborative platforms in increasing organizational productivity, although there are still gaps in the optimal use of information technology among practitioners who are not yet familiar with digitalization -based solutions. This study contributes to the understanding of the Best Practices of Management Information Systems Transformation in the Aviation Sector and provides practical recommendations for the implementation of digital technology in the operational optimization of work units.

Peningkatan volume pengiriman kargo human remains di Terminal Kargo Domestik Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya menuntut penanganan yang sesuai dengan standar prosedur dan etika layanan. Namun, berdasarkan observasi awal, ditemukan bahwa fasilitas penyimpanan khusus bagi kargo human remains (HUM) belum tersedia, sehingga menimbulkan potensi risiko etis dan operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama pelaksanaan On The Job Training. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model implementasi George Edward III dengan fokus pada variabel komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun prosedur penanganan telah dijalankan, keterbatasan fasilitas menjadi hambatan utama dalam memberikan layanan yang sesuai standar. Kesimpulannya, perlu dilakukan pengembangan fasilitas ruang penyimpanan khusus serta peningkatan standar prosedur untuk menjamin pelayanan kargo human remains yang aman, etis, dan profesional.
