Indonesia which is located in an area prone to natural disasters. The impact of floods experienced by the community such as diarrhea, itching, digestive tract, fever, upper respiratory tract infections and other diseases. Klaten city is said that every year there will be the most severe floods last year 2021. The knowledge possessed is very helpful in disaster management, and attitudes towards healthy and healthy living behavior are able to prevent environmental-based diseases. Knowing the relationship between knowledge and attitude towards flood disaster preparedness in Koripan village, Polanharjo district, Klaten regency. This research uses analytical methods, data collection techniques with stratified ramdom sampling, a sample of 89 respondents, the instrument of this research is a questionnaire. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the knowledge level of the people in polanharjo sub-district was in the good category. Community attitudes in the positive category. The results of the bivaariate analysis show that there is on relationship between knowledge and attitude towards flood disaster preparedness. The characteristics of respondents in polanharjo sub-district are the majority aged >40 yeard and the majority are male as many as 49 respondents. The level of public knowledge about flood disaster preparedness in polanharjo is mostly in the good category. The public attitude about flood disaster preparedness in the polanharjo district, the majority of the positive results, there is no relationship between knowledge and attitude.
