Abstract

The competition in the automotive industry is increasingly challenging, where the company's task of ensuring customers are satisfied with the products we produce is the main factor in winning them. That is the value of the manufacturing industry to continuously improve quality. This study aims to reduce the reject rate and determine the priority of problems in the fuel tank production process. This study uses the six sigma method based on a simple problem-solving methodology consisting of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. This method combines various statistical tools and other process improvement approaches. The results of this study show that the company's Sigma level in February carried out in the welding & press section obtained a sigma value of 4.0 and process capability of 1.34. This means that the quality control process that has been carried out has not been going well because the product is defective and still needs to be improved. Finally, this paper provides some recommendations for improving process capability.

Abstract

Alat belajar atau bermain di taman kanak-kanak merupakan salah satu fasilitas dan saran yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian, mengingat besarnya fungsi dan manfaat alat tersebut dalam aktifitas belajar atau bermain anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang beberapa alat bermain/belajar, diantaranya; perosotan, panjatan globe, dan jembatan lingkar yang ergonomis menurut data-data antropometri siswa-siswi Taman Kanak-Kanak R.A Nurul Iman. Data tersebut digunakan sebagai parameter dalam membuat rancangan terbaru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah metode besafe. Metode besafe memperhatikan aspek ergonomi, data yang didapat melalui perhitungan uji statistik. Setelah pengumpulan data selesai, maka tahap berikut adalah pengolahan data. Data yang diolah adalah letak dan nilai persentil. Dalam tahap analisis, hasil rancangan memperhatikan perbedaan ukuran dan bentuk yang cukup signifikan dibandingkan alat bermain/belajar yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Perbedaan ini sebelumnya di analisis lebih jauh dan disimpulkan bahwa alat yang telah dirancang memberikan nilai keamanan dan kenyamanan secara ergonomis. Pada hasil letak persentil didapatkan: (5 = 2,85), (50 = 28,5) dan (95 = 54,15).

Abstract

CV Jasa Bhakti merupakan perusahaan industri manufaktur yang memproduksi mesin pertanian dan spare part otomotif. Selama kegiatan proses produksi berlangsung mesin bubut SY-GF 2500H memiliki kendala yaitu kerusakan mesin yang mengakibatkan mesin produksi tidak dapat beroperasi dan menyebabkan terjadinya downtime yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian dan mempengaruhi tingkat efektivitas pada mesin bubut SY-GF 2500H. Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas pada suatu mesin dengan menggunakan tiga komponen utama yaitu availability rate, performance rate, dan quality rate untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kerugian berdasarkan six big losses, rata-rata hasil OEE sebesar 75% masih di bawah standar world class dengan faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya OEE yaitu performance rate sebesar 79%, sedangkan losses yang mempengaruhi nilai efektivitas performance rate yaitu idle and minor stoppage sebesar 6% dan reduce speed losses sebesar 35%. Dengan melakukan analisis akar penyebab masalah melalui fishbone diagram, dan five whys analysis, dari metode tersebut dapat disimpulkan, penyebab rendahnya nilai efektivitas pada performance rate yang dipengaruhi oleh idle and minor stoppage dan reduce speed losses yaitu faktor manusia, mesin, material, dan metode.

Abstract

Kualitas merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki peranan penting dalam memberikan kepuasan kepada konsumen. Permasalahan mengenai kualitas menjadi isu yang kerap dibahas dalam perusahaan untuk merancang suatu strategi guna mempertahankan posisi dan meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan pada persaingan global dengan perusahaan lainnya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mempertahankan serta meningkatkan kualitas adalah melalui pengendalian kualitas secara statistik (statistical quality control). UMKM Puyuh Kompas merupakan salah satu jenis usaha peternakan unggas yang belum menerapkan prinsip pengendalian kualitas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas pada produksi telur puyuh, mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kecacatan pada produksi telur puyuh, dan memberikan usulan dalam mengendalikan jenis-jenis kecacatan pada produksi telur puyuh di UMKM tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode statistical quality control dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi telur puyuh di perusahaan tersebut belum berjalan dengan baik. Jenis kecacatan yang dominan terjadi dalam proses produksi adalah telur retak dan telur pucat. Tindakan usulan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah dan menurunkan tingkat kecacatan dengan menetapkan standar operasional prosedur, memperbaiki desain dan tata letak kandang, dan memasang komponen-komponen pendukung yang dapat mencegah burung puyuh terkena wabah penyakit serta serangan hama.

Abstract

PT JVC Electronics Indonesia (PT JEIN) is a large company engaged in the electronics industry, especially in the car audio section. In doing the design, this research uses the ARC and ARD methods. Based on the results obtained, it can be seen that the current layout condition is considered to be less than optimal because, in the design process and the placement of attributes in the warehouse, they are not in sync and transportation is hampered. The proposal for improving the warehouse layout at the company is obtained by placing the components of the warehouse based on the level of importance and frequency of products going in and out of the warehouse. It was identified that Asian, European, and American products were the products that experienced the most frequent in and out of the warehouse. Therefore, the three products are placed in a place that is easily accessible during transportation. While the other two products, namely Japanese and local products, were placed in another position, namely on the side of the warehouse. The layout change aims to increase the effectiveness of the movement of goods and reduce the occurrence of product variance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of workload on employee performance at PT XYZ Cibitung Branch. Data is processed using research samples at the company. Analysis of processed data results was carried out using a simple linear regression test and the Determination Coefficient Test (R2). The results obtained include; Simple linear regression test states that workload does not significantly affect employee performance; And the Determination Coefficient Test (R2) said that 21.9% of the workload affected employee performance and the rest of 78.1% was influenced by other factors that were not discussed into the study.

Abstract

Inventory of goods is one of the company's activities that are very important for the development of the company. To implement an inventory system, there are several methods, one of which is the FIFO (First In First Out) method. FIFO is a method in which goods purchased earlier are considered to be sold or used earlier, and the cost of goods purchased earlier will be charged first as cost of goods sold. This research was conducted at PT. Samcon with the aim of providing the layout of the proposed FIFO inventory system in the finished goods warehouse of PT. The previous Samcon was less than optimal. This research is expected so that in its application it can be maximized and provide convenience and smoothness in the operational process. From this research, the area using the proposed layout results in a savings of 8.46% of the total area of ​​the finished goods warehouse. In the proposed incoming and outgoing goods flow, a one-way flow is used which makes the operator no difficulty in the process of storing, searching and retrieving finished goods so as to increase the productivity of the finished goods warehouse operator.

Abstract

Intisari— Salah satu pemanfaatan IDEF0 adalah untuk pembuatan pemodelan. Penelitian ini membuat pemodelan pada proses produksi dalam industri manufaktur yakni perusahaan kaca otomotif. Perusahaan ini menghasilkan kaca pengaman yang merupakan salah satu komponen yang dirakit pada sebuah mobil. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pemanfaatan dan pemahaman yang diperoleh dari pemodelan yang menggunakan IDEF0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses penggambaran model proses produksi yang terdiri proses cutting, printing, tempering dan assembling lebih komprehensif dan jelas. IDEF0 telah memberikan pemahaman mengenai proses produksi, input, output, mechanism dan control serta aktivitas yang lebih detail dan terstruktur dengan lebih mudah. Abstract— One of the uses of IDEF0 is for modeling. This research makes modeling in the production process in the manufacturing industry, the automotive glass company. This company produces safety glass which is one component that is assembled in a car. The research aims to provide information about the use and understanding obtained from modeling using IDEF0. The results of the research show that the process of drawing the production process model which consists of cutting, printing, tempering and assembling is more comprehensive and clear. IDEF0 has provided an understanding of the production process, input, output, mechanism and control as well as more detailed and structured activities more easily.

Abstract

Intisari— PD. ABC merupakan perusahaan dagang di bidang industri tekstil yang memproduksi boneka. Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak kepada para pelaku industri termasuk PD. ABC, yaitu penurunan jumlah pesanan sehingga jumlah produksi menurun. Sejak berdiri, PD. ABC belum pernah melakukan pengukuran dan analisis produktivitas secara sistematis. Pencapaian keberhasilan hanya diukur berdasarkan tingkat keuntungan dan jumlah pesanan dari pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran dan analisis produktivitas terhadap proses produksi boneka di PD. ABC selama pandemi covid-19, yaitu bulan Maret 2020 hingga Januari 2021 dengan tujuan mengetahui sejauh mana pencapaian produktivitas perusahaan dan apa saja faktor yang menyebabkan penurunan pencapaian produktivitas. Metode utama pengukuran dan analisis produktivitas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu objective matrix. Sedangkan metode pendukungnya, yaitu analytical hierarchy process, traffic light system, diagram fishbone, dan 5W1H. Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai performance produktivitas dan indeks produktivitas proses produksi boneka di PD. ABC selama pandemi covid-19. Nilai performance produktivitas tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Februari 2021 dan terendah pada April 2020 serta indeks produktivitas tertinggi pada bulan April ke Mei 2020 dan terendah pada bulan Maret ke April 2020. Penurunan performance produktivitas terjadi dikarenakan rendahnya level performance indikator 5, yaitu di bawah level 3 (level rata-rata) dan termasuk ke dalam kategori merah yang berarti performance belum mencapai target. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini juga dibuat beberapa usulan perbaikan guna meningkatkan performance produktivitas indikator 5. Abstract— PD. ABC is a textile industry that produces dolls. The covid-19 pandemic impacted industrialized also PD. ABC, which is there is decrease in the number of orders and thus the number of production is decreasing. Since its founding, PD. ABC has not ever done systematic measuring and productivity analysis. The achievement of success is measured only by the rate of profit and number of orders ordered from customers. Hence, this study did measuring and productivity analysis of the production of dolls in PD. ABC during the covid-19 pandemic, from March 2020 through January 2021, with the goal of knowing the extent of company productivity achievement and what factors cause the decrease of productivity performance. The main method of measurement and analysis of productivity used in the study is objective matrix. The support methods are analytical hierarchy process, traffic light system, fishbone diagram, and 5W1H. This study results in the value of productivity performance and the productivity index at doll's producing process at PD. ABC during the covid-19 pandemic. The highest value of productivity performance occurred in January 2021 and its lowest in April 2021 and the highest productivity index in May 2020 and its lowest in April 2021. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the performance of Puskesmas X Kabupaten Bekasi is measured using a balanced scorecard approach. Balanced scorecard is a comprehensive performance measurement technique by measuring organizational performance based on financial aspects and non-financial aspects using 4 perspectives, finance, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach from observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the financial perspective, namely the economic ratio and efficiency ratio were categorized as good, while the effectiveness ratio was categorized as not good. From the customer's perspective, it shows a good level of patient satisfaction, the ability to retain old patients is good while acquiring new patients is considered not good. From the perspective of internal business processes as measured by aspects of equipment, infrastructure, and processes, it shows good performance. The growth and learning perspective of employee satisfaction and employee productivity shows good performance results. Thus, overall viewed from the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard, the performance of the Puskesmas has achieved good results.
