<![CDATA[The development of marine and fisheries in North Maluku Province is very important and strategic because it has very large and reliable fishery resource potential. The development of community fisheries through commercial fisheries is carried out to increase fishery capacity with improvements that must be made to be able to encourage regional economic growth in North Maluku Province. This study aims to analyze the potential role of fisheries in increasing local revenue (PAD) in North Maluku Province. The method used in this research is Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis and Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that the value (LQ) proves the potential income of the fisheries sector has a positive relationship to regional original income. The fisheries and marine sector as a leading sector based on regional income indicators should require strong efforts from the government to be willing to provide services for the development of fisheries and maritime affairs in North Maluku Province.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of the level of clean water demand in the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of South Halmahera Regency. With a quantitative research approach, in this study, using the population is the customer of the Obi Laiwui District Drinking Water Company (PDAM), which is 3000 household units and the sample used is 44 households. By using multiple linear regression analysis in data analysis, the final results show that the price of water has a significant effect on the demand for clean water. Likewise, total household income and population have a significant effect on the demand for clean water. From the results of this study, it is suggested that PDAM companies carry out routine programs such as surveys regarding satisfaction, problems or obstacles faced by the community in obtaining clean water, such as a program for checking water channels in people's homes and periodic meter changes.]]>

<![CDATA[Economic growth shows the extent to which economic activity will generate additional public income in a certain period, that is, an economy is said to experience growth if the real income of the community in a certain year is greater than the real income of the community in the previous year. Economic growth is the most important factor in development that determines the success of the development of a region/region which is measured based on the high or low levels of economic growth achieved. This study aims to analyze the effect of General Allocation Funds (DAU), Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) on Economic Growth and Human Development Index (IPM). The object of research was carried out in South Halmahera Regency in 2012-2021 using the multiple linear regression analysis testing method. The results show that the influence of the General Allocation Fund, the Special Allocation Fund and the Profit Sharing Fund simultaneously influence Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. While the results of partial testing, the influence of General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Profit Sharing Funds also affect Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. This indicates that the greater the regional potential revenue, it will be able to increase the achievement of Economic Growth and the Human Development Index.]]>

<![CDATA[Sektor pertambangan merupakan industri yang menguntungkan jika investasi yang masuk terealisasi dengan baik dan menyerap tenaga kerja yang cukup banyak sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan sebesar-besarnya untuk kepentingan masyarakat di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur. Selain itu keterlibatan pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui belanja pemerintah ini diharapkan mampu mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi maupun perluasan kesempatan kerja. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh investasi PMDN dan tenaga kerja sektor pertambangan serta belanja pemerintah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesempatan kerja di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode path analisis,uji asumsi klasik, koefisien determinasi serta uji t dan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Halmahera Timur serta Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil analisis ekonometrika setelah diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 25 sebagai alat uji statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial : (1) investasi PMDN dan tenaga kerja sektor pertambangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi (2) belanja pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur; (3) investasi PMDN dan belanja pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja; (4)Tenaga kerja dan pertumbuhan ekonomi secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja.]]>

<![CDATA[Efektivitas Pelaksanaan Program Transformasi Ekonomi Kampung Terpadu (TEKAD) di Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah, Kabupaten Halmahera Barat dan Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan.Penelitian dilaksanakan di tiga kecamatan terdiri dari Kecamatan Weda Tengah, Kecamatan Jailolo dan Kecamatan Gane Timur pada masing-masing desa yang berkenaan dengan pelaksanaan program tranformasi ekonomi kampung Terpadu. Metode menggunakan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan program TEKAD di Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah, dan Halmahera Selatan kurang terlaksana dengan baik, sedangkan di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat pelaksanaannya cukup terlaksana. Faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program TEKAD yaitu minimnya Peran dari Pemerintah Desa, Fasilitator dan Pendamping Desa, rendahnya tingkat Kesadaran Masyarakat, dan kurangnya tranparansi dalam pengelolaan anggaran.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pengaruh belanja pegawai, belanja modal, belanja barang dan jasa, dan belanja bantuan sosial terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Kemudian juga menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan di Maluku Utara. Metode analisis data yaitu menggunakan data runtun waktu (time series) tahun 2010-2015 dan menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil yang ditemukan bahwa berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa belanja pegawai pemerintah daerah berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Maluku Utara. Artinya bahwa, jika adanya peningkatan dalam belanja pegawai pemerintah maka akan mendorong peningkatan dalam perekonomian daerah. Selanjutnya juga bahwa pengeluaran pemerintah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Artinya bahwa, jika terjadi kenaikan dalam belanja modal pemerintah, maka akan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Kemudian juga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belanja barang dan jasa berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Artinya bahwa, semakin meningkat belanja barang dan jasa maka akan dapat mendorong naiknya pertumbuhan ekonomi. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa belanja bantuan sosial berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Artinya bahwa, jika adanya peningkatan dalam belanja bantuan sosial maka akan meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Maluku Utara. Kemudian hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa belanja pegawai pemerintah berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat atau indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM) di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belanja modal pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa belanja barang dan jasa berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kemudian hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa belanja bantuan sosial berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Artinya bahwa, jika adanya peningkatan dalam belanja bantuan social maka akan memperbaiki taraf hidup masyarakat.]]>

<![CDATA[The main objective of this research is to test and analyze whether personnel spending, capital spending, goods and services spending, and social assistance spending have an effect on economic growth activities and people's welfare in North Maluku, this is what makes this study important and necessary. Then, also analyze effect of economic growth on welfare. The analysis method using time series data from 2015-2020 and path analysis. The results found local government personnel spending has a significant effect and positively correlated to economic growth of North Maluku. Furthermore, also that government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Maluku. The results of the study show that spending on goods and services has a significant effect and is positively correlated to economic growth in North Maluku. The results of this study indicate that social assistance spending has a significant and positive correlation with economic growth in North Maluku. The spending on government employees has an effect on community welfare or the human development index in North Maluku. Furthermore, the results of the study show that government capital spending has no significant effect on the welfare of the people in North Maluku. The results show spending on goods and services has a significant and positive correlation to people's welfare. Then the results of this study indicate that social assistance spending has a significant effect and is positively correlated to the welfare of the people in North Maluku. This means that, if there is an increase in spending on social assistance, it will improve people's living standards]]>
