Abstract

Health is an essential aspect of community life that can be supported through the habit of consuming herbal drinks. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) are two traditional plants widely used as herbal beverages due to their diverse health benefits, including boosting the immune system, improving blood circulation, and aiding detoxification. This article describes the implementation of a community service program in Sei Simujur Village that focused on the production of ginger–lemongrass herbal drinks as an effort to promote healthy living and foster creative economic opportunities. The program was carried out through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, group discussions, and evaluations using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. A total of 30 participants, consisting of housewives, youth, and village officials, were involved. The pre-test results showed that only 35% of participants had adequate knowledge about the benefits of ginger and lemongrass, while the post-test revealed a significant increase to 93%, indicating a 78% improvement. Furthermore, participants successfully practiced the preparation of herbal drinks independently with correct composition and hygienic techniques. From an economic perspective, a simple simulation showed that the production cost of one 100 ml bottle was approximately Rp2,500, while the selling price ranged from Rp5,000 to Rp6,000. This margin of profit demonstrates the potential for developing ginger–lemongrass herbal drinks as a micro-enterprise in rural communities. Challenges encountered include product shelf-life limitations and lack of flavor variations, which can be addressed through natural preservation methods and diversification of ingredients. In conclusion, this program effectively enhanced community awareness of healthy living, empowered local skills, and inspired the development of value-added herbal products

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of the outdoor learning method in teaching descriptive text writing to the female students of Class VII-C at Junior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan. The background of this research is based on the role of outdoor learning in providing solutions for both educators and students in the teaching and learning process, particularly in learning to write descriptive texts.This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation as the primary data collection technique, supported by questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as evidence.The findings indicate that learning through the outdoor learning method successfully increased students' learning interest and comprehension of descriptive texts. By directly observing objects outside the classroom, students were able to write descriptions more quickly due to the real-life experiences they gained. Furthermore, conducting lessons outside the classroom created a more enjoyable learning atmosphere and encouraged students to be more active in participating in learning activities.Based on the questionnaire results, all students stated that the use of this method was helpful. Therefore, the outdoor learning method can be considered an effective alternative to improve students’ writing skills.

Abstract

Learning is a core activity in an educational process. Learning can be carried out in class ordistance if necessary if there are obstacles to meet in a class due to situations and conditions that do not allow. This study aims to determine (1) the distance learning system that is applied, (2) the impact of the distance learning system on student achievement, (3) the constraints in implementing the distance learning system. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive qualitative research approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of distance learning still has many obstacles such as inadequate equipment and poor internet connections, besides that the increase in learning success is still small and ineffective.

Abstract

Banking plays a strategic role as an intermediary institution in the economic system, particularly in mobilizing and distributing public funds. However, the implementation of an Interest-based system in conventional banking raises serious concems from the perspective of Islamic economics, as interest is considered to share substantial similarities with riba, which is explicitly prohibited in the Qur'an and Hadith. Differences of opinion among scholars, along with the dominance of conventional banking practices, make bank interest a persistent and widely debated contemporary issue. This study aims to analyze the concept of banking and bank interest from the perspective of Islamic economics and to examine scholarly views and fatwas regarding the legal status of bank Interest. Specifically, it focuses on identifying differences in emphasis among scholarly fatwas and contributes conceptually to contemporary Islamic economic discourse by clarifying the relationship between Sharia principles and modern banking practices. The research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach, drawing on data from the Qur'an, Hadith, classical and contemporary Qur'anic exegesis, fatwas issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama, Nahdlatul Ulama, and the Muhammadiyah Tarjih Council, as well as relevant Islamic economics literature. The findings indicate that bank interest in conventional banking meets the criteria of riba al-nasiah, which is prohibited in Islam. Islamic banking emerges as an alternative that emphasizes profit-and-loss sharing, justice, and partnership. This study concludes that Islamic banking offers a financial system more consistent with Islamic law and oriented toward public welfare.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Fikih Siyasah di Madrasah Aliyah memiliki urgensi dalam membentuk pemahaman siswa terhadap hukum Islam yang mengatur tata kelola masyarakat dan sistem ekonomi syariah. Perbankan syariah sebagai bagian dari siyasah maliyah menjadi salah satu implementasi pembaharuan hukum Islam di Indonesia. Namun proses pembelajaran fikih saat ini masih cenderung berorientasi pada hafalan sehingga belum sepenuhnya mampu menghubungkan konsep hukum syariah dengan persoalan ekonomi kontemporer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dalam meningkatkan literasi hukum syariah dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam memahami perbankan syariah. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan ( penelitian kepustakaan ) melalui proses identifikasi, analisis, dan sintesis terhadap sumber-sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran Fikih Siyasah bidang perbankan syariah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analitis peserta didik dalam menilai kepatuhan produk syariah keuangan modern, memperkuat motivasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam proses belajar, serta menjadikan pembelajaran lebih aplikatif dan kontekstual sesuai perkembangan muamalah kontemporer. Dengan demikian, PBL dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran yang potensial untuk Fikih Siyasah di Madrasah Aliyah karena mampu menghubungkan teori fikih dengan praktik muamalah kontemporer serta meningkatkan relevansi dan literasi perbankan syariah di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract

Di Madrasah Aliyah, pembelajaran fikih masih banyak menggunakan cara konvensional, sehingga peserta didik kadang kesulitan mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Salah satu materi yang sangat relevan adalah zakat profesi, karena topik ini langsung berkaitan dengan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi di masyarakat, serta bisa membantu peserta didik memahami pentingnya berbagi dan tanggung jawab terhadap sesama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami konsep zakat profesi dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning, sehingga peserta didik dapat belajar lebih aktif, kreatif, dan terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis, sementara data dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Berdasarkan kajian pustaka, ditemukan bahwa karakteristik materi zakat profesi sesuai dengan prinsip Project Based Learning, yang mendorong interaksi, diskusi, pertukaran ide, dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam memahami perbedaan pandangan ulama secara moderat. Dengan penerapan model ini, diharapkan pembelajaran fikih menjadi lebih inovatif, kontekstual, menarik, dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang zakat profesi serta penerapannya dalam kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

Korupsi merupakan bentuk kejahatan yang bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan dan amanah dalam hukum pidana Islam. Pembelajaran fikih jinayah memiliki posisi strategis dalam menanamkan nilai antikorupsi, namun kajian sebelumnya umumnya belum mengaitkan konsep hukum Islam dengan desain pembelajaran yang efektif secara pedagogis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis model pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran fikih jinayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan teknik analisis isi tematik terhadap literatur fikih jinayah, pendidikan Islam, dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang terbit pada periode 2015–2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan model pembelajaran paling relevan untuk mengajarkan konsep korupsi dalam fikih jinayah karena mampu mengembangkan pemahaman hukum, berpikir kritis, dan internalisasi nilai moral secara simultan. Media visual dan evaluasi holistik (kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik) berperan sebagai unsur pendukung efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perlunya penguatan kompetensi pedagogis guru fikih dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis kasus hukum yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter antikorupsi.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a global health problem requiring patient adherence to treatment. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of pharmacist-led medication counseling on tuberculosis medication adherence in patients at Puskesmas Rasimah Ahmad and Puskesmas Mandiangin, Bukittinggi City. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest one-group approach. The sample comprised 24 TB patients selected through total sampling. Data were collected using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8) questionnaire before and after the counseling intervention. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analyses using Kendall's tau-b, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and Mann-Whitney U test. The findings indicated no association between age and TB treatment adherence before and after counseling. However, there was an association between gender, education, and occupation with TB treatment adherence after counseling. Treatment duration also showed a significant influence on patient adherence. Patient adherence levels increased significantly after counseling in both health centers (Puskesmas Rasimah Ahmad: p=0.024; Puskesmas Mandiangin: p=0.034). No significant difference in adherence levels was found between the two health centers post-counseling (p=0.320). This study concludes that pharmacist-led medication counseling effectively improves TB patient adherence. Healthcare professionals, particularly pharmacists, are encouraged to provide interactive and repetitive counseling to TB patients to support treatment success.
